Everything works fine on both android and in the flash debugger, but when I install the ipa file on my iPhone my IOErrorEvent displays an error message.   Hey, you have another question for the experts... I have a SWF and an activex media player on a page... stream URLS are in my flash movie and I wish I could choose which stream to play in the media player by clicking on a button on the swf...

  This is where I am currently in detail... skip down if you want the quick description

  In flash, I connect to my webservice and pick up the three tables. One called 'seen', one called "vc" and one called "vt".

  'vu' contains about 5-10 urls in service date here... vu1, vu2, vu3, vu4, vu5, etc...

  "vc" contains the name of the company in streaming... "vc1" is the source of "vu1" etc.

  "vt" contains the name of the actual flow

  IM lost in the place where I want to by clicking on a button and pulling the "(n) SelectVideo" to send the url (see [n]) the reader multimedia activex on the same page and play... don't know how...? ExternalInterface is something ive tried but I can't seem to get it right on the side of actionscript and deleted from the code above...   So you're on the right track. The best way I found to do is Google search for Flash and Javascript and create a flash test file and the html file. You should be able to make your javascript in your html page simple to launch a new window and go to yahoo or something. That's how you know you're in communication with the javascript function correctly. Then put it in what you are doing and if it does not, you know it's a problem of javascript to the media player not Flash to javascript. That should help a bit.

  I could do this from as2 to a popup which held an as3 document and their release back to build a screen shot and then saved. So I'm sure passing a string to a media player is possible and fairly easy

  OK so im having a problem with my flash player.it says its installed but the shock wave does not appear in my Add ons. the really weird part is that he put on itself! I disabled ie11 and him allowing again.so it said I would like to install in my browser so I clicked Yes thinking it would work.and shockwave appeared in my Add ons. but I started up IE 11 thinking things would work but he didn't.actually there not even appear in my Add ons again.ive tried everything I could like cleaning my registry keys and clean my system. the strangest part is the fact that when I go on adobes flash player site to test it appears that its in my system. It works with Ruffles of colors in chrome but not ie11.i don't know if I can get adobe to distance to solve this problem, but I contacted Microsoft and they directed me here.ive done almost everything that I could to resolve this issue with ie11.but, if someone could give me some advice that would be great. When I go to the site that requires flash that I don't get an error, in fact, nothing happens to hope do not know if it is a bug or not but I like to use ie11 on other browsers.   have a problem with a flash page I design...

  I want the. SWF file to be opened but no donwloaded up to what a key is pressed but does not know ho to do...

  I'll be more specific:

  frame 1, I have an object (movieclip) which consists of a logo with a blur... effect after 1-2 seconds, the blur effect disappears, and you can see the logo. the logo itself is a button that will send the user to the next section on the main stage.

  on frame 2 of the main stage, I have a preloader that shows a progress bar and percentage of the page loaded... everything works fine

  the problem is that when you open the swf file, in that it begins to download the hole flash site and when you press on enter the site is already loaded and you don't see the progress of the preloader bar...

  I want only 1 framework the main stage to be loded, then I stop loading (download) the SWF file until you press ENTER.

  Enter when you press on I want the flash site to load and so you can see the preloader in action...

  can I put a code on the layer of action on the 1 setting that stops the loading of the movie (the first image is loaded and play the effect of blurring of the logo). and another code on the second image (where the preloader is visible) which includes the donwloading?
