Problem in the acquisition of images

I use a ccd Hitachi, which worked fine until yesterday, all of a sudden, I have an "IMG_ERR_VLCK" error - cannot be locked on the video source (error 1074397153) who appears whenever I press on acquire.

the cable seems very well made the pins, the domain controller is also correct, I don't know what happened
I tried the solution written in common mistakes and still nothing.

can someone help me please?

Hi Dalia12,

I see you've already found: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/3434173630CBC97686256F8000536593#1

Who has a multiple troubleshooting techniques.

As he has worked before, have you installed the new drivers or made any changes to the settings in the camera file or the device itself? If this isn't the case, it may be a hardware problem, in which case you have another camera, capture card, or cable to test?

  • What is the importance of buffers in the Acquisition of images

I think the question is explicit. I select the function set up IMAQ1394. It includes a command to define the number of buffers, usually they implements buffer is more than a video acquisition and 1 in the acquisition of images (I quote examples). but when I change these examples by removing the wire of the buffer total still image is acquired very well. This prompted me to ask the importance or the importance of buffers in the acquisition of images.

    Hello Asad,

If you look at the detail help, the buffer for a setting configures VI is defined as follows:

Number of buffers For a first acquisition, this parameter specifies the number of images to acquire. For a continuous acquisition, this parameter specifies the number of buffers that the driver uses internally.

By default it is on, so you will always be able to acquire without specifying this entry.  For a first purchase, you will acquire the number of frames specified.  The display of the images, if you have a poster of the last image.  For a continuous acquisition, the number of buffers is defining the size of the buffer by using your pliers is.  So, if you set a buffer of size 1 rather than say 10, you have more chance to run through the buffer overflows.

    I hope this helps.

  • Executives ignored in the acquisition of images with 4 Configuration of the camera (cards 2 x 1430), record only half of the expected data

    Hi all

I have a VI that puts in place a continuous grab for four camera link cameras at 100 Hz (512 x 640).  I have the cameras running on an external clock of 100 Hz for synchronization (comes from box NI DAQ, trigger ports on 1430 cards are not connected to anything).  The VI sticks all the frames in a queue, and then I (slowly) he writes to disk after that I get what I want.

The problem is, for a minute 4 capture, I get only about 14 000 items in the queue instead of 24 000.  Also, each image gets populated with a number of buffer, so I can see it is missing all the other images or something like that, sometimes it will jump 10 in a row, sometimes it will jump rare... any ideas?

Here is a picture of my installation of collection (Scripture on the part of the disk is not displayed, but that pours out of the queue is fine)-

    Hello

I see a number of problems with the approach in your VI that I'll try to cover...

Your consumption with queues and images won't work as you wrote because the images are a type of reference data and so put them in the queues is not copy data values, only the references. So if you keep to the same reference to the image in a queue, they are all pointing to the same data of the image (which may be substituted).

A better approach is to have two queues of images, representing the 'free' pads and then one that represents the images 'full' (your queue current consumer). You would then have your acquisition loop pull a 'free' image, fill it with data via a Get buffer call and then queue it for your use. Your consumer could pull this queue, do its thing and then queue the image to the queue 'free' for the producer to use again.

In addition, your code does not currently use the lower level is VI buffer, so you take advantage of the buffering model input-output IMAQ uses internally. The simple Grab acquire VI returns only the most recent image, but if you fall at all it does not use the FIFO. You want to call make buffer with a buffer incremeenting number so that you do not skip the buffers and are allowed to get behind up to the number of buffers in the buffers configured list.

  • Problems with the treatment of images and tapes

I have thousands of files that need to be addressed. I generated an action command, which, when used manually, seems to work. However, when I try to launch a process of file I get an error message indicating that Photoshop could not process the file at the end of the attempt of treatment. The files that it expel are severe bands where a gradient mask is supposed to fade the edges of the image of a light gray (made with two distinct layers and various gradients). In the action sequence I already changed the modes at 16 bits and added a color raster layer and noise was added twice for her and then changed the opacity and fill at 19% and 1% respectively. I wonder why I can do this and then save it as a jpeg file and don't see any banding, whereas when the files that I made cross, they have bands.

To solve problems of the strips, I used a technique of dithering by changing modes at 16 bits (which I had failed to do in the previous sequence of action apparently) fill a layer of 50% gray color, pixelation, add noise filters set at 25% monochromatic x 2, then set the opacity of this layer (which is on the top) to 19% and fill to 1%. I flatten the image and then changed to 8-bit modes (that I did not also in the original action sequence).

This solved a problem since JPEG files that appears crossed out in the gradient layers that I was trying to mislead and kept my files become too large. I don't know why the initial sequence of action failed, but when I used a batch sequence to show me a script error, I found that one of the steps could not be completed. I don't know why, but in any case, I rewrote the sequence of action and I am happy to say after a few odd issues of debugging, it works smoothly.

  • problem with the position of image in the slideshow width 100%

Hello Im having a problem with my slide show that is 100% browser width.  the slideshow container is set to a height of 300 pixels and the picture I inserted is about 1500 pixels in height.  I placed the image so it defined in a specific section of the image, but when I hit the 100% width button it positions the image down.  is this a bug or it's adjustable somehow?

    Hello

What you encountered is the default behavior of the slideshow widget, which, once the value of width of 100%. I'm afraid at this point, you can not edit/resize the image. So, to do the same thing, you will need to remove the 100% width of the widget option.

  • problems with the sequence of images in v30

First of all, I'm a bit of a novice user in the teaching of science. I use this software to deliver the anatomy & Physiology TP laboratory where I take a sequence of images from several angles of an anatomy model and use the image sequence feature in InDesign to link them together so that the student can drag the picture on the iPad to rotate the image and see the issue from several angles. This worked very well with v29 and students loved it. However, with the v30, with just a light tap of the image, it quickly reverses through many images, almost randomly, after the coup. This makes all our efforts on the worthless 3D appearance. I can't use one of these rotating images now until this problem is corrected, or tell me what goes wrong. Any ideas?  To learn more about how I have this set up? It works fine when I preview the file on my laptop. This is only on the viewer Adobe iPad application (which is used in the classroom). Thank you!

  • Problem with the Apple Core Image?

Can someone confirm for me that there is a problem with Apple Core Image which has feature to DNG. I have problems with Nikon RAWs converted with DNG Converter. Once changes have been made to these DNG (in Lightroom 2.3) and the metadata and previews updated software (Preview, etc.) based on the main Image don't seem to use the embedded JPG (with applied adjsutments) but well the smallest thumbview, not up-to-date. I do not use the option "convert to linear" when converting.

    >... but Apple OS uses its own rendering system (part of Mac OS) to display

    > previews in Finder. It is completely independent of the melting of LR,

    > or LR of embedded previews.

Hi Eric - so a software program that uses Apple CoreImage to render a LR

"adjusted" DNG will be or does not display a picture of the DNG that has been

    cropped.

Will not. In general, LR settings (e.g., cultures, fill light, etc.) are not

applied by Core Image. These types of adjustments are specific to each flood

    converter.

I need that labview shows an image in real time when the light comes and stops showing the image when the light goes out, showing the last structure that was light. It's like a system called last taken image.

    for example:

I have a pedal that start a strong brightness. LV doesn't show any picture, when I press the pedal and lights in LV stars to show the image when I stop pressing the button LV displays the last picture or image that was light. If he starts another moment to press the pedal LV begin to appear the new images until I stop to press the pedal.

  • Keep all information collection during the acquisition of images when you use the basic IMAQ package

I did show a command of X from IMAQ image control that has the ability to overlay dots and lines on an image, but when I put my control of X in my loop of acquiring image collections information disappears with each new picture that I acquire.

How can I keep the overlay in place and just update the control with the new image and does not overwrite data overlay? I tried the function of superimposition of fusion, but this doesn't seem to work.

    Thank you.

Overlays are completely erased when you acquire a new image.  You can create collections on a separate image, and then copy to each new image overlays until you view it.  The other option is to re-create overlays for each new image.

  • Problem with the acquisition of data on XP Embedded

    Hello

I'm using LabView 8.5, 8.7 DAQmx. My application is collection of data of NI USB-6009 14bits. I tried to create applications for tablet PC with installed Windows Xp Embedded. I created the installer on tablet with installed Windows 2000.  I solved all the problems that occurs during installation. First version of the program have assistant DAQ in a main VI who collect and process the data. It worked properly on Xp Embedded. Second version was split into two of the Subvi. One is data collection and secondary processing. Each VI have own while loop. Both Subvi is placed in the large loop and they start at the same time. I am writing all the data to global variables. On PC with the windows application created 2000 worked properly. Error occurs when I moved it to Xp embedded. VI, which is the collection of data, the error see the 200361 code and text:

DAQmx reading (analog 1-d Wfm NChan NSamp) .vi:2
    The task name: _unnamedTask<0>

I know its something with the sampling and the clock, but I do not see where is the problem. In the main loop and two Subvi I 'wait until the next ms Multiple"block with a value of 200. DAQ Assistant were set as follows:

    Price: 1000

    Number of samples: 1000

    Timeout (s): 10

Can you tell which can cause this error?

If you would like more information please write here.

Problem solved. There was connection between PC and USB-6009. Program works when I connect the USB-6009 housing directly to the PC. Previous connection was through usb hub.

    Thanks anyway.

  • Problem with the BIOS boot image

Hi - I recently updated day/flashed the BIOS of my T60 (2623-KFU) through windows by using the Setup files in the support section. I noticed the image of the characteristic changing BIOS boot and creates the Logo.Mod file that I have included in my BIOS flash. However, flashing it, I noticed that the Intel Logo (top-right) and the Lenovo Logo (right & Vertical) still exists and overlapped my custom image.

Is it possible to remove these logos so that I can have a clean design beautiful original appears at startup? I tried flashing back to nothing does not.

ThinkWiki says that you have to work with them. I didn't find a way to remove them.
