• Sensor with Signal conditioner for the acquisition of data NI 6009 force

The Rotary potentiometer and data acquisition work like a charm in SignalExpress but I currently have problems with the force sensor.

  Nevermind, solved the problem. I didn't know that the scope of the input signal must be set globally. Once this is done, the problem was gone.

  I'm relatively new to LabVIEW 8.0 and I'm having a problem with being able to monitor the signals that I am gaining two simultaneous analog signals.  I have the user to input the frequency of sampling and the length of the sample, and then I starts the scan, but when running the analysis, I don't see no result on the chart if the duration of the sample is passed, at which point all data comes.  Previously, I could see the acquisition of real-time data and I don't know what I've done since then have possibly that stop working.  I tried to introduce a kind of late for may allow the software to apply the data to the graphics, but I had no success.

  I suggest you try these two options:

  1. in each iteration of the while loop, add your data to the data of the previous iteration, IE use a shift register to create an Adrien to data that you have acquired. When you save the data in a file, read data from the table and not the current value of the waveform. You can read the data in the table by using a queue, or by using any simple method to pass data between the blocks.

  When you use a local variable of the waveform card, you only read the current value in the array, not its history.

  2. use a property of waveform graphs node to read the history of the ranking, convert the picture from picture to picture 1 d 2D using cluster of waveform ungroup functions and write to the file, click on "Save".

  I made a very simple FPGA VI: a while loop, generator of sinusoidal signal and a FPGA of e/s node in the loop. I've specified the Gnerator settings by following the path:

  Frequency = 50 Hz
  Amplitude = 1
  Phase shift = 0.00
  Size of the table look-up = 1024
  = 16-bit amplitude resolution

  FPGA clock frequency (40 MHz)

  But the wave of "sine" I got is not what I wanted to get. First of all, its amplitude is 1 V. shouldn't it be coded on 16 bits? If I wanted to get 1V I should have specified Amplitude as a 3277. In addition, 'sine' is not very detailed, it's look like "steps", as many samples vere missing. What I did wrong? I checked the samples and tutorials, I did everything the same way. A I forgot something or not has not specify other parameters?

  OK, I solved a problem. It's embarrassing to admit, but maybe this will help someone else I blame my inexperience

  The main solution to the problem was changing calibration of calibrated RAW Mode. After that, everythoing works as expected. I had a problem with a sample because I was using a multiplier to control the generated sine wave amplitude. But... She was set to 1 in the sinusoidal signal generator. That was the reason for waveform Gradin. Please, don't laugh too much

  My request is generate pulses on the output of two different to drive two LEDs and acquire detected pulse signal amplified photodiode.

  I have a VI that puts in place a continuous grab for four camera link cameras at 100 Hz (512 x 640).  I have the cameras running on an external clock of 100 Hz for synchronization (comes from box NI DAQ, trigger ports on 1430 cards are not connected to anything).  The VI sticks all the frames in a queue, and then I (slowly) he writes to disk after that I get what I want.

  The problem is, for a minute 4 capture, I get only about 14 000 items in the queue instead of 24 000.  Also, each image gets populated with a number of buffer, so I can see it is missing all the other images or something like that, sometimes it will jump 10 in a row, sometimes it will jump rare... any ideas?

  I see a number of problems with the approach in your VI that I'll try to cover...

  Your consumption with queues and images won't work as you wrote because the images are a type of reference data and so put them in the queues is not copy data values, only the references. So if you keep to the same reference to the image in a queue, they are all pointing to the same data of the image (which may be substituted).

  A better approach is to have two queues of images, representing the 'free' pads and then one that represents the images 'full' (your queue current consumer). You would then have your acquisition loop pull a 'free' image, fill it with data via a Get buffer call and then queue it for your use. Your consumer could pull this queue, do its thing and then queue the image to the queue 'free' for the producer to use again.

  In addition, your code does not currently use the lower level is VI buffer, so you take advantage of the buffering model input-output IMAQ uses internally. The simple Grab acquire VI returns only the most recent image, but if you fall at all it does not use the FIFO. You want to call make buffer with a buffer incremeenting number so that you do not skip the buffers and are allowed to get behind up to the number of buffers in the buffers configured list.

• problems with the differential measure at labview2010

  Hello!

  IM using a 6063e card to measure and labview 2010, but I had a problem that I can not understand.

  AI0 is differentiall (w. AI8) and AI2 is also differential (and short circuit just for test purpose). I posted a bad image of my connections. I think this is the simplest possible differential configuration. A source of energy that can be set between 0 - 8v is connected to AI0. (yellow and Red wire coming out of the image)

  With example signals "Acq Cont & chart voltage-Int Clk.vi" I can measure and read plot map DAQ. Sampling channel AI0 works as expected, the voltage can be adjusted between 0 - 8v. Sampling AI2 also works as expected, nothing happens when I change the voltage on AI0. BUT if I sample both AI0 and AI2 and plot the AI2 signals gets on 2v when 8v are threaded AI0. Is no mather what example or my own code, the example above is just a suggestion to illustrate the problem. I tried the card on a different computer running labview 7.1, and all 3 cases works. I also tested to replace the map with a 6062e and it shows the same problems. Can someone please test this on their installation of labview 2010, I want to know if my installation is weird or labview 2010 is broken somehow. Could be a driver problem with series 60xx cards?

  I solved my problem by sampling AI0 AI1, AI2 and simply ignore AI1. Weird but this market so I suspect some sort of driver bug.

• Anyone having problems with the new iPhone LTE connection 7 on Verizon?

  I am now on my iPhone second 7 with Verizon. I had four phones for me and my family. I have now had issues where I have no signal in the same areas where my signal allows to be strong. I can't solve the problem with the activation/deactivation of the airplane and then mode again in normal mode. My phone will rest with no signal for 5 minutes, then going to LTE with three bars. I also had the problem where I had only 1 x signal, while my son standing right next to me has LTE. And he had the same questions, where I'm on LTE and it gets no signal. I use to have LTE where I live and work all the time, now it's spotty at best. Apple has replaced me and my sons iPhones but not luck. Still do. Any ideas or an any other suffering?

  (1) go to settings/cell phone/cellular data Options/enable LTE and select ONLY the DATA. This seems to solve the problem (as a temporary solution) for most of the people affected by this problem. The bad part is your request might not be as clear (since they cannot use the highest LTE signals) and you can make calls and data at the same time. But it does not solve the issue.

  (2) there are rumors (but you didn't hear that from me that we only are not supposed to discuss beta software program Apple in this forum) that the new version of Apple Beta for iOS (which also includes an update of the software carrier Verizon to 26.0) seems to solve this problem. So, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

  Need help find out what is the problem with my iMac to mid-2011.

  Yesterday during a reboot it just never came to life.

  On turning the power on, I get the RINGTONE to start and that's it. The screen is totally black. Nothing behind tried with a torch.

  VRAM rearmament so far I tried repeatedly, unplug and plug, all kinds of combinations of keys in the carillon and nothing.

  Connected to an external monitor and shows nothing of too - no signal.

  Any way that I can know what is wrong with it before sending it to the service tech? I suspect bad graphics card but how do you ensure?

  I have a problem with the analog output sound on my A - Z30 (internal and line/headphone speakers). If for example I play music I see a clearly weak signal volume on the fader control of volume in my Win 8.1 source volume control. But on the master fader, I get a completely saturated and distorted signal. Even down to the time source and output does not help... it just sounds horrible.
