  Before I've had my laptop, I have purcahsed a Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade disks and Windows 7 Professional. I used the ultimate update on my desk and I try to use the Professional on my laptop (which came with home premium).

  The problem is that I now have a "non-genuine" copy of Windows 7 because every time the upgrade does not accept my upgrade key. I understand that they are updated slightly different, but anyway that I actually purchased is more expensive than the anytime upgrade. How to make this work?

Windows 7 Home Premium license that you upgraded was activated before the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional through Windows Anytime Upgrade?

  However, when I run my application program, "Fitting.EXE", it gives me a 'Class not registered' error message when I run Connection.DoConnect.

  The connection string is configured to connect through OLE DB, use Fitting_Service as data source. This is known to work, such that the program works correctly on my desktop PC that is running Oracle 10 g with OLE DB and is used to compile and link the executable file (the laptop has no software development).

  My first thoughts on this problem are:

  (1) I need ODAC on the laptop. But that creates a new home of the Oracle, is not?  So if I set up the TNSNAMES file. ORA in this new folder tree, how it can reach the server database on the same PC, a server that already has a listener configured and known to work as SQLDeveloper can see the database. There is already a TNSNAMES file. ORA files in the tree of files server and properly configured. If I install a new listener, don't he substitute somehow the existing one, may break the connection that uses SQLDeveloper?

  (2) the program Fitting.EXE has been linked on a system with 10 g and the corresponding OLE DB software. Perhaps it is impossible to connect to an 11g database, either by an OLE DB 11g if I install it to ODAC 11.2.0.2.1? I have not yet tried ODAC installation because I was afraid to disturb something that works - see already 1) above.

  As you can probably guess, I'm a little lost on this and need someone to point me in the right direction instead of groping in the dark.

  Success, finally!

  Take your index on copying tnsnames alias in the client tnsnames file, I installed ODAC112021 and did just that. It works amazingly!

  I'm lle establishing a cumulative index of 136 pages for a magazine and I would like to limit the amount of handwork as much as possible. However, I still see cases where the entries do not meet tab stops as I'd like (see below).

  I type this script in NumericField6 and I used the option of check script and is no error in the script, but when I use Acrobat to test the form (by typing ' 1' in NumericField1) it does not automatically generate the value 100 in NumericField6. Can someone help me by telling me why the script does not work? or how I can do to generate a numeric value in an another NumericField based on the numerical value typed in a previous field?

• Problems with the help of control Edit Expression with tab control

  Hi all

  I am facing a strange problem when using Expression Edit Control with a tab control.

  When I put the Expression of the RichEdit controls on several tabs in a tab control, and when I run the application, the Expression Edit controls in a single tab are visible, others get invisible! I do NOTHING with them, but they do not simply show upward!

  I first faced this problem using Expr editing controls in Visual Studio c#. NET - with tab controls. For verification, I created a simple VI is LabVIEW to see if the problem is with my request / problem with Expression Edit controls in c#, etc. But voila!  A similar behavior in LabVIEW too! 

  I'm doing something wrong? OR do not do something right? Ask someone for help please ASAP!

  Daniel was on the right track.  From 42 of Chrome, the Java Plugin is disabled.  It may, however, until September be reactivated.  Refer to the following for details of Oracle:

  On the question regarding other browsers, consider the following:

  1. you should not have more than one JRE version installed on your machine.  You can, but it is not recommended.

  2. the jpi_mimetype parameter is used only for non - IE browsers.  For IE, you must correctly set the jpi_classid the value of this parameter will depend on end-users to use version and how certain you want the version to be.  In other words, you can asked exactly the version you want, down to the level or update, you can set this value to allow any version within a particular family.  See the notes 444105.1 MyOracleSupport for more details.

  3. If this information does not help to solve the problem, please share the exact content of the error you see.  Actually, it might help, if you have provided a screenshot.

  We are working on a proof of concept and to do database gateway for MS Sql Server - DG4MSQL version 11.2 - Oracle on 64-bit Linux to connect to a Windows database that uses SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. I have reviewed the matrix certification for database gateways and it indicates that SQL Server 2005 is certified - but does not specify what editions.
