  CentOS is not certified as a level application/database nodes, so you will have to go with one of the certified operating system as shown (Note: 761564.1 - Installation of Oracle Applications and upgrade 12 Release Notes (12.1.1) for Linux x 86).

  I try to install the master CS6 Suite on a mac that has OS X Mountain Lion on it. I get an error message that the software cannot be verified, and he could be wrong.   Hi, I advise you to try to use the generic Setup program to: % SOA_INSTALLER_DIR%/Disk1/runInstaller. Because if you use the runInstaller in the %SOA_INSTALLER_DIR%/Disk1/install/solaris it will lead to this problem in some cases.

• Oracle E-Business Suite patches pre-installation on top of R12.1.1

  We try to identify the patches that are required to be applied on top of R12.1.1 before calling the u6678700.drv. We came across the note, Oracle E-Business Suite Patches Report [Video] [ID 1448102.1] pre-installation. We installed the report and according to the note and the report, we have 'Failed to upgrade Script - EBS' 98 patches and 'Problem of Performance - EBS' 33 patches. We would like to know if its required to apply all of these 33 98 + patches and if yes is there a better way to get a merged fix?
  
  We need to apply fixes for products under a particular family combination if they are not allowed? IE say under Finacials, produced ZX, XLE are not allowed, so can I ignore patches preinstallation for these products?

  I'm setting up a VISION E-Business Suite 11i instance to use for training of users.
  
  I managed to install and get running 11.5.10 on SUSE 9 and have no problem running this.
  
  However, I am trying to update this to 11.5.10.2 by applying the Cumulative Update (CU2) fix (u3460000.drv).
  
  I have followed all the previous steps in Metalink (316366.1) note and applied the fixes 4318672, 4229931 and 4297568 according to the instructions.
  
  All the results of Autoconfig in this context returned a status [PAST] and I was then able to proceed.
  
  I then used AutoPatch apply u3460000.drv, but at a certain point, the script displays:

  I copied the last lines of the log file adwork and also adpatch file of newspaper at the bottom of this thread.
  
  I tried to use adctrl to restart failed workers and also the hidden option 8 to ignore this process and these two steps failed.
  
  I don't see anything about this error on Metalink or Oracle Forums.

  I installed Oracle E-Business Suite Version 12.1.1.9 with Oracle Database 1.1.0.7.0 OEL 5 update 5. Everything works perfectly after installing, I am able to connect to the database and log in the Web site at http:// < hostname >. < domainname >: 80nn.
  So, here's my problem, after I restart the server and try to log in the Web site I get this screen.
  
  
  500 internal Server Error

  I know that many other people have got this question and I tried to debug for a while but no luck.
  
  Hussein says to run the service autoconfiguration on the application and database layer, but when I do this it completes with errors.
  I even tried to start the service of autoconfiguration on a newly installed Oracle EBS without rebooting it and the automatic configuration service always ends with errors.
  
  Also, I looked in the apache log files, I checked the error_log and it says file not found: favicon.ico. So, I added that file but the just error_log shows more errors but the site still does not work.
  
  Can I get a few more ways to solve this problem? Any help would be great.

• Test for E-Business Suite using IE8 issue of load ATS

  I am trying to record a script using Oracle Application testing SUite for E-Business Suite R12.1.3 of load test application. When I start recording, I get a pop up asking me to change/disable the XSS filter in IE8. I altready done this and restart the browser. But the same pop-up message arrives.
  
  My questions are:
  (1) 9.3 ATS is supported for use with Internet Explorer 8? I am on Windows 7
  
  (2) how can I overcome this problem so that I can script EBS records in openscript.

  2 / you have disabled xss settings for four different security zones?

  Alternatively, you can try to add the url of the EBS for trusted sites and disable the settings of xss for this area.

  During the installation of Oracle Application R12.1.1 installation I face this error,
  Windows cannot find «.\jre\NT\1.5.0\bin\java ". Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.
