  • Problem installing Windows on Acer SW10. It freezes

    Hello

I applied 'Reset your PC' on my Acer Aspire SW10 and after installing Windows and complete the installation, a screen appears asking you choose between English or Spanish languages, and the frozen screen. You can move between options with the tab key in the screen, but can not choose the language or by clicking on the 'next' button to continue. I turned off and tried to 'alt + F10' to access the reset menu, but appears again the same screen, unable to move either forward or backward.

I appreciate the help that you can give me about this.

I could solve it with your recommendation.
    Thank you.

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact Acer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

    http://us-store.Acer.com/RCD/

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

It comes to the use of the partition Recovery of Acer to restore factory settings.

    http://Acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/2631

Note: During the process, all data stored on your computer will be overwritten. This means that all of your files, such as e-mail and photos, will be deleted. Therefore, we recommend making a backup of all data before starting the recovery process.

    To start the system recovery:

    1. Restart the computer.
    2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the left Alt and F10 keys.
    3. If you are prompted with a Microsoft Windows splash screen, press the Enter key.
    4. After that the Acer eRecovery Management application is loaded, select your type of restore.
    5. Read the review and then click Next when you are ready.
    6. Click Next to start the restore process. It may take 10 minutes up to an hour fom anywhere to restore.
    7. Once the restore is complete, your computer will restart. After the reboot it will load Windows and start the installation of your software and drivers. Your computer will restart several times during this process. Once they are all completed, your computer will be like it was when you bought it first.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens or the recovery Partition is damaged, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    See you soon.

  • I found in my logs event before I even had my PC delivered they had a problem installing Windows 7 Premium 64-bit, and this error message is listed under Windows-Setup: 0xC000000D

I have nothing else problems with my new system had in the past 2 months and have done two factory restores.  I get the "your video driver has failed but recovered" several times a day, it progresses freezing and, sometimes, the old bue screen.  I worked with the manufacturer and they took all original event logs before we did the restoration of 1.  After a Microsoft Update, it was even worse that I did a second on 10/18.  You went out with an update again and things seem to be OK until yesterday when it started happening again and again.  So I went in the event logs to see what they said and I found the error message a week before the system arrived even at my doorstep.  It seems whenever I did a factory restore it just keeps reloading the same problem!  Since they send you the REAL DISKS any more there is no way own things off and really repair the enrire thing - if it's still possible for an average user.  Other information: Journal name Microsoft Windows Kernel-EventTracing/Admin Source connected to kernel-EventTracing 2010-08-06 19:53:04 Evnet 3 category of task ID: Session-level: error keywords: Session OpCode: stop

There are several other error messages that appear on a regular basis, not to mention the display driver one - that is the most obvious to me.  I saved the newspaper while they cannot get lost.  You can see that this same error message when I did the last factory restore on 10/18 is still original and mistakes so I could look at just to be reinstalled again.  My question is what is it, can it be repaired or do you need to strip ALL of this machine?  And while you will never say so, shouldn't they have taken this BEFORE they sent this computer to a client?

Check with your PC vendor to determine if updated video drivers are available.
Download and install if necessary. The video drivers are often buggy when
originally published, so what you see is not unusual. I hope it's a
minor issue if you had not seen the papers you would have noticed.

  • Problem installing Windows XP Mode in 7 Winjdows

I have a problem installing Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 Pro 64 running on a Dell Latitude E6510 laptop with an i5 processor and 8 GB of ram.  This machine supports hardware virtualization, and it is enabled in the BIOS.

Before downloading software in XP Mode, the MS download required Windows validation Web site.  Downloaded and reported validation validation and a successful installation.  Then I downloaded Windows XP Mode (WindowsXPMode_en - us.exe, 481 052 KB) installation package and the package of Windows Virtual PC (Windows6 1 - KB958559 - x 64 - RefreshPkg.msu, 16 692-Ko).  Then, I installed Windows XP Mode; the installation ran without any problems apparent and reported success.
According to the docs of download site, the next step is to: "... click on the Windows 7 start button , and then select all programs > Windows Virtual PC > Windows XP Mode to begin the installation."
My problem is Windows Virtual PC does not appear anywhere in the selection of all programs list - believe me, I looked.  There is, however, a new directory called
    c:\ProgramFiles\Windows XP Mode\
but it contains no exe file.  It contains a file of 1.2 GB called Windows XP Mode base.vhd - but it is not clear what to do with it.  There is also a tutorial subdirectory.
I tried to reinstall Windows XP Mode (without uninstalling first) but I just get a warning message that the program is already installed.  Windows XP Mode appears on the list "Uninstall or change a program" in the module programs and features in Control Panel.
I tried running (Windows6. 1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu(Windows6.1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu, goal that throws error 0x8007000d, "The data is invalid."
If at this point, my question is simple, "what to try next?
    Thanks in advance.

The right way to install Windows XP Mode, you must first install Windows Virtual PC, and then install Windows XP Mode.

    You must install both files:

    1 Windows6. 1 - KB958559 - x 64 or x 86 architecture that you run

Restart the system, and then install:

    2 WindowsXPMode_en-we

    ------------

    Uninstall Windows XP Mode:

Click Start, type: programs and features

    Press enter on your keyboard

    Scroll down

    Select Windows XP Mode

Click Change/uninstall in the command bar

    Uninstall Windows XP Mode

    -----------------

    Restart your computer

Proceed with the installation of Windows XP Mode in the right order.

    --------------

I have a PC with Vista, I tried to install Windows XP, it was rejected, and now I don't have an operating system

    Bruce,

Do you remember if you wanted to do a new installation or had you partitioned your hard drive to install it in a dual boot with Vista?

If you do not have a BONE now it sounds lik evous was the first choice that clears your current installation.

You need to reinstall Vista from your original media to recover your system if this is the case.

Unfortunately, if this is what you choose, you have lost all the data that was on your hard drive as well.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad new possible.

  • Installation installation of Win Vista Home premium error Windows errors can not reset the deployment engine. to install windows, restart the installation.

Original title: Error Installing Win Vista Home premium.

I have a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium.  Suddenly, it wouldn't start.  I changed the boot CD ROM and put my Vista disc in and tried to do a "repair" that it came with missing engine or something like this.  After several attempts, I gave up and formatted hard drive losing all my data and programs (rather difficult to backup files when the computer does not start).  So, I tried a complete installation.  I put in the license code and he started the installation.  After a few minutes, the message came;  "Windows Setup could not reset the deployment engine.  to install windows, restart the installation.  I tried several times including completely turn off the computer for several minutes and try again.  I tried several times.  I thought oh well, I will install my Windows 7 program (this and never used).  Error on this installation was: your CPU is only good for 32 bit and Win 7 I have is a 64-bit version.  I'D RATHER INSTALL VISTA BUT need help on the error regarding the deployment engine.  Thank you, Lloyd

    Windows XP instead of Vista.

I would like to install Windows XP on my computer and get rid of the Vista operating system.  Can I do this?  I only have 512 MB of Ram and 32-bit processor.

    Hello

There are a few things that you would have to do to install XP instead of Vista:

    1. contact the manufacturer of your computer and see if the XP drivers are available for your computer model to make sure that XP has worked properly in this regard.

    2. If the XP Drivers are available, buy a XP disk operating system / license. Try local computer repair shops because Microsoft sells more than XP and online sale buy you pirated copies can cause. Be very careful.

3 XP runs with 512 MB of RAM, although a little slow by today's standards.

    4. do a clean install of XP. Make sure that all your data is backed up as the hard will be cleaned of everything during the Installation of XP.

  • Cannot install windows vista service pack 1 and 2 error: 8007006E

Original title: Windows Service Pack 1 and 2 will be not updated

I tried a few times to download the Service packs 1 and 2 so that I can reinstall my Windows live messenger. I didn't have time to let it run full the last time, but this time, her gives me: "error (s) found: Code 8007006E - Windows has encountered an unknown error.

Usually I have no problem with my updates, they fit very well. This time, of course when I need it, he decides to not work (Murphey's law).
How to fix this or get to download correctly, so I can reuse my Messenger? I uninstalled my Messenger when it stopped working (would not allow me to connect to all) for about a month or two.
    Thank you!!!

    Hello

    1. can you install other windows updates?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Try to reset the Windows update components and check to see if the same problem happens: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

    Method 2:

Try to put your computer in a clean boot state, and then try to install Windows vista service pack 1 and 2 manually.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Method 3: Try to install Windows vista service pack 1 and 2 from the link below.

    Service pack 1: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Learn-how-to-install-Windows-Vista-Service-Pack-1-SP1

  • Hello guys, I installed Windows which was not original, and now it's not true, I do not know the product key.

    * Original title: product key

Hello guys, I installed Windows which was not original and now it's not true, I do not know the product key and I want to activate how?

If the edition installed does not match the edition, you have a product key because it will not activate.

If you have a product key for the specific edition installed, try the phone activation:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
