  Some time ago I bought the camcorder Camileo H20. It works well with one exception - update does not work with reliability. I will describe it more precisely. The camera has two modes of zoom: optical / mechanical that has a priority, and digital which takes place when the optical zoom reaches the limit. When I am running in the optical zoom range, everything works almost fine (almost, I don't expect a perfect quality of ~ 100EUR product), but when the camera's digital zoom, crazy things happens with development. It takes sometimes > 10 seconds in order to reduce the strong image. The problem occurs even when I zoom digital range only (I'm sure, zoom bar is clearly cut out on the screen). Being configured to maximum already, internal zoom lens camera should not touch the lens in such a case, but he does. I asked a friend who bought the same model of camcorder. He has experienced the same thing.

  This message is addressed to Toshiba responsive and responsible staff who will deliver corrected firmware on the web site of the company (Toshiba offers firmware update for model Camileo H10, so a next to H20 shouldn't be a problem). If the answer will be "please visit our service center", I expect that (firmware updated) repair will be free as is plant bug present in all cameras with the same firmware, am I right?

  People say that Japanese companies dealing on the reputation and the quality of the products. I think that and wait for a response soon.

  I m really questioning the service guy who told you that who should have access to this firmware updates if it is the Toshiba service?
  Camileo H20 firmware is not available anywhere I checked the area EU Toshiba driver Options page and there is no such firmware.

  I guess you should replace the cam if the warranty is valid in the case that I put t think it can be fixed.

  Problem started two weeks ago. Could not power on the laptop, tried several outlets different. Bought a laptop universal power cord/charger and it has not always worked. Removed the battery, power cord and could start on computer... Replace the battery, but the battery would not hold a charge even if the battery light was amber and the icon in the toolbar of Win: 36% available (plugged in, load). Click the icon and displays 36%, calculate... Laptop left on all night with the battery and 8 hours later, he was always at 36%. With laptop turned on, I can remove the power cord for laptop and battery will continue operating, depleting the battery but when I plug the power supply cord does not charge the battery (without green light or the light).

  Bottom line, power cord with battery and have no power (green or amber) period. Remove the battery, attach the power cord and I can start the computer.

  Thanks for confirming my assessment. Laptop bought in October 2013 and is not under warranty. New motherboard costs nearly one-third of the cost of the new laptop is not profitable to replace the motherboard.

• M11x problem loading battery

  Buy a used laptop M11x, almost new. Installed new batteries and it charged 100%. Now it is said that the charger is plugged in but does not support. Removed and not connected to the battery, discharged from the motherboard with button / stop. Reinstalled battery... same problem. Check the bios setting... everything is OK. It uses a non Dell charger. I have a Dell coming 150w charger. Should I expect the best results? Any suggestions?

• Camileo H20 problems find photos

  I got a Camileo H20. There is no problem to watch and upload videos saved on the PC. The images are different.

  When I get on the DV without his problem, but as soon as I connect to the pc by cable, there is just the videos on the card. No pictures!

  When I take the sd card, put them in a multi-PCI-slot and connects to the computer, the videos * and * are there photos.

  Hmm generally videos and photos must be saved in the same folder on the SD card, and as far as I know it must be possible to check the photos using the cam plugged into laptop via a cable. I have the: 30 and it works if I have access to the card using Windows Explorer. If I connect the camcorder to my laptop using the USB cable, the additional SD card appears in my computer. I see here videos and images.

  My Camileo H20 won't be to point to the power of the battery. It runs on AC power when connected to the charger. I noticed when I press battery/memory sometimes, it happens on battery showing - TOSHIBA - but goes out as soon as I stop fastening lid close the card cover. Bad contacts with battery maybe?

  have you noticed, there is an insulator on the battery?
  It protects the battery while shipping to the France.
  If you don t have, please delete.

• 32 GB SDHC card does not work on CAMILEO H20

  Can anyone help?

  I recently bought the camcorder above. I bought a 32 GB memory card class 6 SDHC separately.

  The map seems to work fine on my PC as a memory device.
  However, I can't work on the camcorder.
  I formatted the card on the PC and the camera but still does not work.
  When formatted on the camcorder it won't be approved by it (it says MEMORY FULL) and when it is formatted by PC, it can record sequences for a few seconds and then stop without saving the images.
  However, I managed to take some photos (only when I formatted the PC) but they will not be recognized by the camera (it shows a folder with a! on this subject) and I can't see any on the PC!
  I also tried a different SD CARD 256 MB, but it's always the same problem

  I would appreciate any suggestions or comments!

  This seems really odd. I also have a Camileo H20 and I use it with a 32 GB SDHC card.
  I am able to record movies with a 32 GB SDHC (Class6) - 09:01 pm - Full HD (1080 p) / 18:03 h HD (720 p).
  Also I can make pictures with the 32 GB SDHC (Class6) - 10,571 pcs. -High (8mp) / 14.415 pcs. -Standard (5mp) / 26.428 pcs. -Poor quality (3mp).

  So, it seems that the issue is not the TV.
  Try to insert the sd card locked and unlocked after this insertion.
  Please install the full battery and just trying to format the card inside the camera again.
  Another point, that you can do is to format the internal memory and set the camera to the default settings.

• Load a Camileo Pro camcorder

  Hi guys,.

  I'm hoping there's someone there willing and able to help me with this problem. My son bought a Toshiba Camileo Pro a few week ago which is now (I hope!) performing their duty sterling filming in and around Camp Bastion in Afgan. It also has a 'power monkey' with him to power devices, but it will not load the Camileo Pro.

  He asked me to send the charger to Afghanistan. Charger, well yarns available in flying over here to the United Kingdom look like nothing, like a charger and of course, that there is no access to a PC to allow the load via a USB port.

  I reviewed the documentation minimalist camera and many links 'google' and frankly I still have no idea how this unit or the battery is charged.

  AFAIK the Camileo H20 cannot be used as a webcam. This feature is not available for this camcorder.

  With regard to the channels on the screen.
  I put t know exactly what you mean, but I recommend that you connect the camcorder directly to the TV and check the settings (60 Mhz NTSC or PAL 50 Mhz)
  In addition, you can save the movie in 720 p HD and Full HD 1080 p

  Maybe you should check the Full HD mode with a higher resolution.

  Last but not least the LCD screen of the camcorder does not appear when the Camielo is connected to an HDTV!

• How to turn off the sound recording on a Camileo H20?

  I just got a new VCR Camileo H20. Directly from the box.

  I use it for video road races to complement the photographs that I take with my Nikon digital camera.

  I will be short and explain my problem: I bought a Camileo H20 in the month of August, which would eventually be sent back cause in 1080 p resolution, you could see a white pixel... This camera recorded videos. MOV files, so at first I was a little discouraged because if you want to edit the video, the conversion. AVI was inevitable!

  After obtaining the replacement unit, I realized happily that the output of this H20 was in. AVI format... BOTH PIS NO DECODER CANNOT READ THE AVI AS THEY ARE! Now, there are times that I wish I had the. Back MOV files, it is absurd that software can understand it's an AVI... Including EACH converter video I found and tested more than all the big guns like Vegas, first, after effects etc etc.
  I know that many of you guys have the same problem of the view do not decode properly, so we have to do something big and get an official response from Toshiba on a solution or something!

  Only solution I found is to encode the. AVI to Avi uncompressed using Adobe Media Encoder CS4 (which uses the ffdshow in my PC, but it is the only combination/decoder software that works well, other programs seem a little 'duplicate' the video during the encoding of what makes a mess) BUT this solution produces unwanted black borders to the output video (not even had any idea why these boundaries exist and I can not make disappear in any way)...

  I m using a small player, free VLC player called.
  This player supports almost all possible file formats and plays avi as well.

  In addition, there is a great free conversion tool called; "SUPER".
  You can convert almost all possible file formats perhaps you should check it too
