• Problem with SMTP servers that disappear

  I've recently updated to the official version of Sierra.

  Since then, I can't send mail more.

  I have a special setup in Apple Mail: I config a manual counting that iCloud as IMAP for receiving server and Gmail as SMTP server to send. That allows me to have sort of a double synchronization with iCloud and Gmail.

  It was working perfectly until that date, but after Sierra upgrade it keeps losing my SMTP server config.

  After some instructions on mail and Sierra problems (in this thread: Re: IMAP e-mail accounts went into Mail after upgrade of Sierra), I have built my mail again, created new account, but the problem remains.

  What happens is that it continues to lose my SMTP server. I re-entered 20 times or more, save, but she mysteriously disappears. I go to Mail > Preferences > accounts, select my manual counting and this is what I see under "server settings":

  

  Password is missing. Username loses the game ' @gmail.com ' email address and authentication is set to None.

  If I'm in all the fields correctly, switch tabs, back: it's all gone!

  I tried to remove the smtp server and create a new one, but the same happens.

  Installation with SMTP servers for each account. THEN in Mail > Preferences > composition select always send from Gmail account.

• Strange when network problem the ESX servers powered

  First of all, do not know if this is the right forum but I hope you can help.

  I have a question where to chance the firewall stops responding during a small number or a host/pcs/physical server randomly on my network. This problem started since the launch of VMware and two ESX servers. I think that its a problem ARP as erasing the NIC ARP cache on the windows computer that has trouble to the solve the problem temporarily. A permeant fix is to cut the ESX servers, which is obviously not a solution.

  Ive changed the firewall's Pack but have the same problem. Any thoughts on what to check on ESX to see what is the cause? My ESX servers currently have a unique NETWORK card on the LAN vSwitch for simplicity and a distinct vSwitch for 10 gb iSCSI, which is directly connected to the San. Very simple.

  Ive found my problem.

  My SAN, a HP MSA2040 manages a network of 192.168.200.x for internal use according to HP support. Even if id changed IP address of management to another network that it stills works this range. Therefore, the map was updated to the ARP tables and sending request to the bad MAC/IP who just happened to be the IP address of my gateway to some network hosts. Crazy stuff.

• Quick vMotioning problem between two servers HP BL460c Gen 9 when EVC enabled

  I have two HP BL460c Gen 9 blades configured exactly the same thing with 2 x Intel XEON E5-2660 v3 processors in each of them. Both running the same version ROM (I36 06/05/2015) and running the same version of ESXi (5.0.0 build 2509828). They are managed by a Server Build 2656067 vCenter 5.0.0.

  When I configure these two servers in a cluster with EVC disabled I am able to vMotion between them. However, if I activate the Intel EVC modes so I am unable to vMotion between these two identical servers.  Here is an example of the message that I get when I updated Westmere VCA mode

  Host CPU is not compatible with the requirements of the virtual machine to CPUID level 0 x 1 'ecx' register

  If I disable CVS, then I can vMotion VMs between them.

  I wanted to add these hosts to an existing cluster configured with EVC Westmere mode so that I was able to vMotion between old and new guests, but was unable to vMotion VMs off the new hosts, even if I tried to vMotion to another new host.

  Configure a new cluster with only these two new hosts to so I could experiment. I can only vMotion between them if CVS is disabled. I cannot further increase the VCA mode on this new cluster, for example of Westmere to Sandy Bridge then I have virtual machines under tension within the cluster. For example: I put the VCA mode at Westmere, feeding on a virtual computer, when I go to change the CVS to Sandy Bridge mode I get the following message, I should be able to increase the VCA mode but may not lower it

  The cluster cannot be configured with the selected Enhanced vMotion

  Compatibility mode; The CPU features disabled by this mode may be currently in use

  by slot voltage or suspension of the virtual machines in the cluster.

  I get this message even if I try to set the VCA mode at the same level, that it is already.

  Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Seems, your CPU supports 5.0 ESXi and vCenter 5.0, you must upgrade your vSphere vSphere 6.x for the VCA.

  Hi all

  I've been going through David Powers yet in a book published on Dreamwever CS5 with PHP, via the site Web of Creative Edge and got the point of creating virtual servers for my sites. I added the following lines to httpd - vhosts.conf as described in the book:

  < directory C:/vhosts >

  Order Deny, allow

  Allow all the

  < / Book >

  
  and now the Apache won't start not (through the XAMPP Control Panel).  If I remove these lines and Apache starts OK. The error log contains the line:

  "httpd.exe: syntax error on line 484 of the C:/xampp/apache/conf/httpd.conf: syntax error on line 53 of the C:/xampp/apache/conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf: / directory > unmatched section < Directory >.

  I've tried a few things (including the passage of the c: / to C:\) but to no avail. The lines of same exact above are also in his previous book, Dreamweaver CS4 with CSS, Ajax, PHP, so it may not be a typing error.

  I'm stuck, any ideas?

  I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit with XAMPP 1.7.3.

• Problem about adding servers under DB layer in the function generator

  I created a group of service constructor for my Production servers in Foglight.

  I added components (server) in the group by selecting them with regard to the level of the DB, for DBO_Instance

  But now when I get alerts from the server, I added to the production group, little reflected the name of the Group (Production database servers) and some alerts do not have.

  Please suggest.

  I think you need to add the DBO_Cluster instead of the DBO_Instance object.

  The Cluster combines the data of Instance and database (which exists only once per cluster). If you really want to add the Cluster instance even if the Cluster contains only one Instance of DBO.

  The Tablespace alert last inyou applying (I think) only affects the part of the database of the Cluster (structure locgial) and will not affect the Service until DBO_Cluster is part of your service.

• Med forskellig CPU issues

  Hej gruppe.

  Nu er jeg stodt ind I and megget irriterende problem med (in del af) installation min. Jeg har and cluster, kuhu der I lang tid har kort 3 stk ESX 3.5 hosts. For 1 md. Siden har jeg sa tilfojet 5 nye af samme brand/model (HP BL460C blades), men med lidt Nyerere CPU (Intel E5440) til clusteret. Da jeg er bekendt med, der kan limit udfordringer I and miljo, kuhu der er har CPU 'er, har jeg desuden tilkobt verder 3 nye CPU' er, som skal pa 3 "gamle" ESX maskiner. Erwarte burde alle 8 hosts, nar opgraderings projektet er Rådet, limit helt identiske.

  Men, men, men... Indtil videre er alle 8 hosts I drift, mangler kun to 3 stk gamle CPU opgradere'er. Inden jeg tager det endelige skridt, vil jeg helt offer pa limit to of 5 fungerer nye. Debt er ikke tilfaeldet unfortunately, da der er med issues to of mellem migrere VM 5 (3 guests korer som altid kan migrere imellem dem. godt og gamle). NAR jeg forsoger at migrere fra eks. ESX1 til ESX2, sagtens det kan lade sig gore. Men jeg eks prover. migrere mellem ESX1 ESX3, ESX4 eller ESX5, sa far jeg til empty at der ikke er kompatibilitet pga. CPUID ikke kan matches. Det forstar jeg nu ikke, da det er samme CPU, som er installeret when nojagtig. And agent eks. ER migrering ESX4 til ESX3 og ESX5 fra. Debt kan godt lade gore sig, men samme r. fremkommer, if jeg forsoger at migrere til eller ESX1 ESX2 (?)

  JEG er klar over at der er inkompatibilitet, if jeg forsoger at migrere on pa hhv. ESX6, ESX7 eller ESX8, disse da jo er ældre med CPU'er (Intel E5340). Burde der jo ikke limit issues 5 nye mellem men? Malet er jo at jeg tager ESX6, ESX7 og ESX8 ud skiftevis I og skifter CPU Maintenance Mode. Naked men er jeg egentlig nervos, at jeg lidt I ende kommer til to have last and cluster, som overhovedet ikke kan migrere og brug af HA gore.

• Unable to send message AT &amp; T - does not connect to the server. Anyone else having this problem?

  All of a sudden I can't send messages on my AT & T account. I get a message that Thunderbird cannot connect to the server (SMTP). Called at & T and they checked all the settings. I can access my email account on Apple Mail and Yahoo (AT & T email provider), and yet I can not send messages on Thunderbird. I can receive but not send.

  I tried deleting the account and the recovery, but that has not helped. Does anyone else have this problem?

  Even set up a new account did not work.   Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.
  • https://support.Mozilla.com/kb/safe+mode

  Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4 and later versions, and disables hardware acceleration.
  
  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
