Problem of blackBerry Smartphones between my BB9860 link to my multimedia audio system Toyota Camry 2012 via Bluetooth

Hello

I'm looking for the solution to the problem that I have on my car Toyota Camry 2012 MultiMedia Audio system.

I connect my model of BlackBerry Torch BB9860 via BLUETOOTH to my Toyota Camry car with Toyota's MyEntune software.  I see nothing wrong in the exception

BB9860 Toyota Camry 2012 multimedia HD Audio System / note

Phone not connected to Bluetooth handfree NO problem

Music connected Bluetooth NO problem

MyEntune Entune: Pandora, weather, Stock, traffic... No problem

Email problem - cannot see email

Calendar of the problem - can not see the calendar

Please help, thanks

my email address - [email protected]

Are you sure that your MyEntune software is compatible with the display of items of mail and calendar from your BlackBerry? I know that my 2012 VW Golf can handle the first three items on your list and he cannot email or Calendar either. If it is supposed to work, then follow these steps on your phone:

Go to the home screen and tap the top right to open the connection management screen. Go to networks and connections > Bluetooth connections, press the BB Menu key and select Map Options. Make sure that your e-mail accounts are all on it. Go back and press the BB Menu key again and this time, select the regular Options. Make sure that your serial Port profile entries are all checked.

If it still does not respond, it may simply be that your Camry and the BlackBerry are not compatible for this feature.

    Hello!

I am a Sri Lanakan. Last week, I bought a Blackberry Storm2 9550 used, eBay (from a seller of e. u.). All the functions work fine except the touch screen. Can press on the touchscreen. (edges and around the screen) But he get caught suddenly, and also when am pressing an icon, phone highlights another icon. (as axample, when am pressing contacts in the home screen, phone highlights two contacts and sms). As I suppose, at this time there the phone detects it as multi touch and so I can't support what either. When am reset (battery pull) the phone, it solves the issue for a few minutes or hours, subsequently faced the same question.

I tried to fix it by putting a piece of paper to the battery cavity, but nothing has changed.

My storm is an unlocked phone (Comes to Verizon, but later unblocked), which is running version 5 software. ...... . 713 fact in Mexico 5.

I want also to the last update available for my phone and how to update.

None of these remedies could work. Without practice, it is impossible for me to know anything 100%. The best advice I can give you is to upgrade your operating system to the latest version (. 1015). It could very well be that, as a device, it was damaged by the previous owner and it will never work for you. As I say, it is impossible to tell at this distance-internet.

    madhava909 wrote:

What is the meaning of the hard reset? It is equal to pull the battery?

In my opinion, Yes, but there are others in the world who think differently. The best reference is the official:

    • KB02141 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone

Most of us who have dealt with this for awhile understand that power should be turned on when you pull the battery.

Once again, it's impossible to say at this internet distance.

Hereby, I have attached an image. Please answer those as well.

The first (top right) is the GPS indicator... I do not exactly remember what icon the way that... I suggest that get you the the user guide for your BB from here:

The other appears only if your carrier has eliminated an update wireless for you. You say that it is the "best way" for you... I would add that this is the MOST DANGEROUS way. You see, via this method update, on the device of data backup is taken, that is rendered after the update (the update effectively wipe everything). This backup is a file use 1... If something is wrong in the upgrade process, all your data is lost forever. The update method that I gave you is the best method that 1) it tells you first take a manual backup and 2) the process itself will also take another backup... and both of these backup files are stored on your PC and can later serve as a source of food since they are not 1-use files.

Pls send me a link if you can, to download the latest update.

You have already the link... it's in the instructions I have given to perform the update... This is the portal of official download for all carriers. Simply, you browse to the carrier of your choice and download their bundle of BONES for your model number.

You can also benefit from this:

And also the public KB that I often mention... they are fully searchable by you... you don't need do me research for you:

Hello and welcome to the community!

First of all, it looks like your battery may be dead... Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

Once your battery is fully functional, so please visit this official download portal as you go along. If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. After installing the operating system on your PC package, please remember to remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you need to provide more information... for instance, "cannot connect to app world" isn't really we say exactly what is happening in your situation.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones AT & T Navigator does not not using business systems

When I connected my Blackberry 9800 my system to the company, obtained the permission oudit, the AT & T kept one browser setting loop asking me to save again. To do this, this 100% of the time. All solutions? My company of people talked to AT & T and Telenav of specialists who concluded that Blackberry locked the firewall and they knew no way to disable the firewall to let AT & T browser to complete the installation.

    Help, please!

I am the BES admin where I work, and we installed it with settings of 'out of the box.  This firewall setting is a default and is not causing the problem.  Is telenav.  I had a user who has obtained a "BOLD" has a few month and ever since then telenav apps didn't work.  I tried a lot to make it work and it would have still stuck at 99% 'connection '. result   Today, I was on the phone for 3 hours get transferred from ATT to RIM to ATT and then finally telenav, then 2nd layer support.

My solution was to install the latest version of telenav:

From your blackberry browser go to this link:

http://OTA.TeleNav.com/OTA/tnatt choose RIM as the phone manufacturer, then select version 9000 build 5.5.0.1016.

I have nothing wrong with the installation of telenav, comes to accept by default and has continued.  You must enter your name at some point and PIN which is the last 4 digits of your phone #.  You don't do it once only.  After it you will connect you automatically.

After installation, make sure that the older versions of the application are 'hidden' from your bb homescreen and only this new version is visible.  I almost made the mistake after installation of revived even older version!  (on the home screen, select the out of date icon, press the bb menu button and select: hide)

The new version which was installed brought in the download on the bb folder.  I had to move the new browser to the home screen icon.  (highlight the icon, press the bb menu and select: at home)

    I hope this helps.

    (2) BB App World must be closed

    any help?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I'm sorry, but the errors you posted seem somewhat independent... so I need clarification please:

    Gbassi wrote:

Then I upgraded OS to v7.0.0.513 to 7.1.0.366-> BBM did not work

Unfortunately, "did not work" is not really diagnosable. What, exactly, have you tried? What, exactly, happened every step of what you tried?

    Gbassi wrote:

    So I drove back and re-installed 7.0->

    (2) BB App World must be closed

I do not see how these two errors are related to the first, you were trying to throw the maps app when it appeared? For the second, which came with the maps app? Or is separate #2 and lies somewhere in the process by using your AppWorld? Complete step by step of what you try, with a full explanation of what is happening at each stage, including the full text of all error messages, is essential to understand your situation and if all goes well to guide. Otherwise, we have to guess...

So I guess. My guess is that, once you upgrade to 7.1, you don't have to perform a few extra steps to ensure that all services were properly enabled on your BB. Here are the steps. I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! You can try these few points in your process... either now (on 7.0.0.513) or after you re - try to upgrade to 7.1.0.366.

    Good luck!

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Torch 9860

    I have the Torch 9860

I bought a few months ago. I was not happy with the speed or the softness of my phone. There are several times when it works very well and I'm happy with it, but there are too many times when I am very dissatisfied with it.

He will go through periods where it freezes for 10 seconds at a time and also time when it will not unlock for 10-20 seconds each time. I hit the Unlock button and nothing happens until about 10-20 seconds later and my phone will often fly through everything trying to catch up and eventually open random apps or icons that I didn't open. Every night and often throughout the day, I'll check if the unused applications are closed, email & messages, as well as internet history is all removed in the hope to run more smooth/more fast. I also use the Auto on/off function every night.

I looked all over for an e-mail with Blackberry about this investigation, but I couldn't find a place signle contact everywhere on the site other than here...

Is there anything else I can do to improve this? In the ad, he explains how quickly and is smooth in this phone, but I was disappointed a lot too.

    Thank you.

Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones while creating an e-mail account

    Hej,

in late July, I bought a BB Curve 9320. Until today, I wasn't able to create an e-mail account. A smartphone without access to e-mail. The problem is missing to create an internet e-mail account. I'm only able to set information for a business account, which I did not. In recent weeks I spent hours and hours reading manuals/blogs and watching youtube videos. I also asked my phone provider if they put in limits for internet e-mail accounts. Nothing of the sort.

I guess that the problem may be caused by our bb playbook. It works well enough. The playbook is running to a live windows account for email, contacts, and dates. When I started the 9320, I first used the same bb id that we use on the playbook.

Please help me, I'm totally frustrated. What can I do?

    Sincere best wishes from Hamburg

Interesting. Call your carrier and confirm that you have the blackberry data plan associated with your account.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Reason: You have installed Desktop Manager by using the option "Desktop Redirector".

Step 1: If you are not using redirector, you must uninstall Desktop Manager, and then reinstall it using the BlackBerry Internet Service option.

Step 2: On your device, go to: Options > Advanced > maintenance book and remove any service books for [office]

Hello and welcome to the community!

Here are a few things to try:

    • KB03133 How to integrate an e-mail address to Microsoft Outlook Web Access with a BlackBerry Internet Service account
    • KB18567 BlackBerry Internet Service cannot connect to an account, Microsoft Outlook Web Access using Microsoft Exchange 2007 or Microsoft Exchange 2010
    • KB04804 Error message when you try to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access 2010 account
    • KB02858 Unable to integrate an e-mail address to Microsoft Outlook Web Access with a BlackBerry Internet Service account

In addition, sometimes it's just not possible to configure via the interface for device... and your BIS carrier, from a PC/browser, Web site may be able to do so... here a partial list:

If you can't find your carriers, you would need to ask for the URL of it.

In addition, since your BB browser, you can try this url:

There are some limited circumstances where BIS cannot integrate properly in OWA... but this is usually a mismatch on the server side (for example, ISA) rather than anything else.

You can also ask your network admins to check this:

    • KB11036 Requirements of connection and firewall for the BlackBerry Internet Service

Finally, if something does not work, details will be much more useful... "nothing seems to work" provides us with nothing to diagnose any and so maybe you better frame. Step by step of what you try and exactly how each step results is always more useful. In addition, if the present error messages, the content accurate and full of people is extremely useful.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones CRTranRec::GetLinkedRecordId: Invalid linked record Id

When you try to synchronize my Torch 9800 with my office, I got the above message.  I saw a previous message which suggested that the search in the address book to a page of your empty - I don't know where to look for it - please help

Hmmm... so maybe you want to try again maybe? If so, I suggest this thread:

It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

Otherwise, if you want to seek a formal support of BlackBerry, you go through your mobile service provider, which can worsen your case up to BlackBerry.

    Good luck!
