  You must listen to the update and then change the order of objects.  Seems odd that RIM does not perform this themselves because it is a problem long been known.  A few other controls have similar problems.

• Problem of form drop-down list

  When I create a form drop-down list box and that you have more to say 10 points with values and trying to modify a list item, I cannot select an item (say #10 on the list).  It is another element in the list.  If someone has had this problem or does anyone have a solution?  I want to attach the file, but I don't see a way for me to do.

• Problem with the drop-down list related calculations

  Hi all

  I worked on a leave form using Adobe LiveCycle ES2 Design for more than three weeks. I am new to my work computer applications programming, and I've not had many world real experience with Javascript. My problem is that I have two drop-down lists in two separate subforms. I have a separate box for users to insert the number of hours of leave, they want to take next to each drop-down list. At the bottom of the form, I have a subform that I want to track the total number of hours for the type of leave, the users selected in the drop-down list.

  I tried several methods of JavaScript to FormCalc, but I succumbed to find a way to indicate each of my category of leave amounts to fields to reflect the value in field hours (this is... if the leave type list specifies the type of leave). I'm tired of scouring the Internet and books to see if I can find a viable solution to this subject. I have another issue to discuss with this same form regarding my case to add calculations, but he will have to wait until I am able to get this rectified issue. Can someone help me?

  The only thing different between them, it's the '6' is changed for each category (i.e. personal leave is '0'). FormCalc select in the script editor. It really works in your form - guaranteed!

  Hello!

  I use editable in Dreamweaver drop down list

  Application Panel, server behaviors > + > Developer Toolbox > form controls > editable dropdown

  That was a GREAT option, but I must add 1 option, when I'm about to ADD an item to the list, all you can do is to add 1 point for 1 column in a database.

  Struture of database:

  ListId userid listItem listitemValue

  But all I can get it to update is listItem , I need to be able to when the "ADD THIS" button is pressed, I can add value to USERID also, is - it possible? I tried the deap immersed in it, but some things I just don't understand that far down.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Okay, I totally misunderstood. Sorry for the confusion. I'm afraid I'm not much help on this particular function. Some features I really ripped and modified, this isn't one of them.

  This does not resemble one of the simplest to change unlike some other functions.

  Before you try to enter the information on how to break it down, is long there all the info that you are trying to update of chance is a certain type of default or incremental, name something that can be hardcoded?... or is it unique as a visitor, so you're pulling every time? Ex: User1, user2 vs.   sally101, david2009, etc..

  If this is not the case, there are several lines of variable change of setting and function to change at first glance.

  I can watch it later, but the variables are not yet in that the same insert feature page.

  Here's the key in WDG_recordsetInsert.php line,

  This table can be modified (at first glance), but I can't promise that reactive power will carry through because I see exactly where this table is used again.

  As I said, if the values you need are something you could hard code start and increment, you can easily change the function "insert in" above.

  I could also play around with a few data of $_POST and data Session vars and see if you can put these lines in the SQL above.

• Problems of the drop-down list of the hotspots alignment

  I use RoboHelp 7 and have a project with a lot of topics that contain bulleted lists with drop-down hotspots and text. I have met an alignment problem in these drop-down hotspots and hope someone can help me understand how to solve this problem.
  
  I want to indent the text that appears when you open the dropdown menu, then it aligns in virtue of the text of the list item to chips, rather than the bullet itself (so it is easier for users to differentiate between the text of the dropdown of the bulleted list).
  
  To do this, I did the following:
  (1) created my hotspot menu drop-down
  (2) delete the default text that appears in the text box
  (3) the icon click Increase Indent
  (4) entered the scrolling text
  
  The text seems to be aligned correctly in the WYSIWYG editor, but has a hanging indent, when I saw it and after that I generated WebHelp output. The paragraph format does not show a negative withdrawal, but that's what I see in the forecast and the generated output.
  
  Can someone explain why this happens and how I can fix this problem? Thanks for your help...
  

  The way to handle this is to create a new style in your stylesheet with the correct indentation and that applies inside your fall down.

• Problems of dynamic drop-down list box

  I have a requirement for a list dynamic downdown.

  I use javascript itself to fill the 2 text fields in the drop-down list.  I need the list/menu area drop down to be able to have options to input from the user and the drop-down list. I selected the "user entered - optional" compared to the setting but does not seem to work.

  The drop has used names and if a new employee joined this company and I do not know the end user can enter the name of the employee in the field.

  I have attached a pdf file version.

  Any ideas or help would be great.

• Problem of multiple drop-down list

  What I have is a form that has a dropdown menu with a list of letters, the alphabet, and what I want to do when the user selects a letter, I want a query to execute to complete the second dropdown with a list of all the name, first name that begins with the letter that the user has selected just with the re-loading of the page or javascript. The table name has more than 10,000 lines, so you can see why I do not want in the drop-down list first and why a javascript array will not work for this application. Any ideas?

  I'm trying to convert a MS Access application to APEX. In the access application, there is a text field with a dropdown list. The application of populating drop-down list is the following:
  
  SELECT DISTINCT CARS. Model CARS CAR BUYING. Model;
  
  As I understand it, it will allow me to select one of the existing values in the menu drop down, but also add a new simply by typing the value in the field its self.
  
  Is there such an option with APEX? It seems that drop-down lists in the APEX are created based on the data static or dynamic, is there a simple way to add new values to the list?

  Hello Daniel,.

  You can use a PopUp LOV selection of existing models. If you enter a different model for a car that is added to the Table of cars, and will be available for the next use of the context menu.

  I am trying to build a form using LiveCycle Acrobat but have problems with the drop-down lists.

  Inititaly I just wanted to fill in the fields in a table based on a matching menu selection dropdown in another table.

  I used the following code and it worked fine:

  You use .rawValue in the change event. This will cause problems because the selection of the users has not received .rawValue from the drop-down list at the time when the change event is triggered.

  Move your script as it should to the output of the dropdown event.

  I'm trying to create a PDF for the purposes of the information and then print it.  I have very limited skills with Acrobat 8, basically what I have gotten myself and I encountered a problem with my drop-down list boxes.  Some of the sentences that I put in the boxes are too long and I have not been able to figure out how to wrap the text, or use multiple lines.  I need all my data to display.  Can someone explain, in simple terms, if possible, how this can be accomplished, or provide an alternative.  I have read several posts but were not able to work where to start with it.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  All the code is in the event of the button the mouse upwards. All you have to do is change the text for each item in the 'items' array to match the selections you want. Add as many items as you need. If you get stuck, post again.

  I saw that too. For now, the workaround is that if you select 'Edit watermark,' when you are done editing be sure to reselect the same watermark. If you do not, the watermark menu will be empty.

  Use cases, TEST_Name by default will be TEST_Type in Drop Down.
  
  "TEST_Type" is the translation of edition Table and 'TEST_Name' will contain XLATLONGNAME.
  
  I do drag XLATLONGNAME of PSXLATITEM table in my grid and make related field and "TEST_Type" a related control field.
  
  Show LongName according to the value "TEST_Type.

  I think you mix a few think upwards.

  The drop is on a class with the values of translate. So, when you set the property to the field from the drop-down list page to view the longxlatitem, you are finished.

  If you want to copy the xlatlongvalue for some reason any other areas, use instead the domain object properties.
