• Several lines in a drop-down list box

  I'm trying to create a PDF for the purposes of the information and then print it.  I have very limited skills with Acrobat 8, basically what I have gotten myself and I encountered a problem with my drop-down list boxes.  Some of the sentences that I put in the boxes are too long and I have not been able to figure out how to wrap the text, or use multiple lines.  I need all my data to display.  Can someone explain, in simple terms, if possible, how this can be accomplished, or provide an alternative.  I have read several posts but were not able to work where to start with it.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  All the code is in the event of the button the mouse upwards. All you have to do is change the text for each item in the 'items' array to match the selections you want. Add as many items as you need. If you get stuck, post again.

  I have a Flex 3 MXML application form that contains a ComboBox as follows:

  The combo box is filled by the provider of data like:

  Drop-down list box loads the XML code very well. the user can select an item and the appropriate value is submitted to the server without problem. My problem is when I want to "recharge" the form with previous values.
  I can reload the text without problem fields.
  
  But I can't work in my ActionScript function, how to set the combo box so that it displays "Auckland" for example, the element with the value = 2. I'll be back this server id, even if I could get the XML code or label if that would help me solve this problem.
  
  I tried physRegion.selectedItem = "Auckland" - nope. "
  I tried physRegion.selectedItem = 2 - nope.
  I tried

  Two things to note. The only problem with the function that has provided ChiefRocka00 is that it is based on the identifier of the data, which means your always limited to have that be the identifier of your value. Personally, I'll be back queries a lot of times where the labelFIeld and dataField aren't labels / data pairs a suggestion would be to add a third parameter and have it checked for this identifier instead of the data. The other thing to note is that it is more common to use selectedIndex instead of selectedItem. If you do not want to do something more like physRegion.selectedIndex = selectCboIndexByData ("physRegion, ' Auckland", label) by using the update function of

• Dynamic drop-down list in the Bay of cluster

  I have a table of cluster that contains two drop-down list boxes. The first drop-down list box control which Articles of the second drop-down list box by writing in the node property [StringsAndValues] for the second box. The problem I have is when I create a new index in the table of cluster and select different values in the drop-down list boxes, it changes the area of dynamic drop-down list on all indexes in the table. Attached, that's what I have so far.

  Wow, what are the chances of another thread like this so early.

  Check out this other thread and look at the link of Hooovahh to see a great way to change the drop-down list box strings during execution to give the appearance different drop-down list boxes. The reality is that you can't have the combo box different types/lists in the same table. So what it is, is to check what element you are clicked on and change the behavior of the combobox as a result.

• Drop-down list box will not drop down when you click on

  I have three area of list editable dropdown menu instances in a form and they are all filled with the data in a table. The problem is none of them the menu is displayed when you click the arrow. They also have a problem of tabbing through them. I can see all the data by selecting from the drop-down list boxes by using the arrow keys, but I need to get the drop-down menu work.

  If found the problem... Since I handle items in combo box list dynamically in the context of a movieclip I had to set "my_formMovie._lockroot = true;". This corrects the problem.

  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar. Then;
  Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: clear now

  and

  • Delete Cookies

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar. Then Tools > Options > privacy.

  Under historical, select Firefox will use the custom settings.
  There is a button on the right side, called View the Cookies.

  If there is still a problem,
  Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
  While you are in safe mode;
  Press the < Alt > or < F10 > key to bring up the toolbar... Then
  Tools > Options > advanced > general.
  Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

  Dig safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart

• Reg - key event "F1" in the drop-down list box

  Requirement:

  I need that to launch a browser window press the 'F1' key during the video (swf) has the focus. I did and it works very well for me in the web application.

  Problem statement:

  When a film was released and with focus in "Combo" (which has the list of items begins with A letter Z) control then, I pressed the 'F1' key but the browser window has been launched, instead "main action from the drop-down list box event fired and the article begins with the letter 'P' has been selected in the combo box." So now again once I hit 'F1', the browser window launched according to my condition.

  This behavior occurs whenever launched film has the focus in the "combo box"; otherwise, if the focus is on another control as TextInput etc, no problem for me. A more information, if the drop-down list box is not no matter what element does begin with the letter 'P' so no problem for me.

  I tried to understand the behavior of the combo, but again, I have no idea. Please share your knowledge/thoughts.

• Problem of form drop-down list

  When I create a form drop-down list box and that you have more to say 10 points with values and trying to modify a list item, I cannot select an item (say #10 on the list).  It is another element in the list.  If someone has had this problem or does anyone have a solution?  I want to attach the file, but I don't see a way for me to do.

  Are the options and the single export, without duplicate values?

  I have a combo on one of my forms box that is filled with the help of a Javascript array.  The drop-down list box is filling very well, but when an item is selected in this drop-down list box, the selected item does not save when the user saves the document.  Any suggestions as to what is the problem and how it can be corrected?  I am a loss to know where even to start the search.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  It seems that the drop-down list box may be getting filled with code that runs when the form is opened. If so, it will overwrite the value selected, whenever it opens. The solution would be to change the code so that it is not than that. If not, you can post the form somewhere so we can take a look?

• Have the drop-down list boxes become visible depending on the selection in a previous drop-down list box?

  Hi, im doing a form that only shows some options based on the previous selections.

  So far I have buttons which allow a user to select a specific product, and then by using the drop-down combo boxes select some optional features.

  I then have a simple javascript code that bears the name of a product at a price (i.e. the user selects product 'A', the review sections shows priced at $ 99).

  My problem is with additional customization options that depend on previous choices.

  Is it possible to have some drop-down list boxes become visible depending on the selection in a previous drop-down list box? If yes how could I impliment it?

  Currently my best idea is to have a button that could ask the user if he or she had previously chosen a certain selection and then reveal areas of correct drop-down list accordingly.

  With a small change I think that the code works as expected. I changed your mainDD.value to event.value, as on the validate event the mainDD.value property cannot be updated as expected.

• Question about the use of the feature drop-down list box!

  I have a form that I am creating for our company that will allow our field nurses choose what they need and print more effieciently.  The problem is that some parts are too long and I can't get the Combo box feature to allow them to be printed on several lines:

  (A) that the automatic multi-line text of combo box size so it will get all the information in each box

  (B) create text boxes at the end of the automatic enteries selected data of the second picture form in boxes that look like the first photo.

  Is it possible to make one of these?

  (B) Yes. Create a text box with the following code as the custom calculation

  I've read several display on this site and others.  I can't find the right solution to get the drop-down list box to work.  I publish for Flash player 10 and AS 2.  The final file will be imported into an Articulate/PPT file.

  My problem occurs when I try to fill the drop-down list using the previously selected public response box.  I tried to use setSelectedIndex.  It works insofar as the choice highlights in the drop-down list box, but the actual selection does not appear in the text box.  What I do pay Combobox.text = selection?

  Hi I'm new to flash and I'm creating a King calculator using two drop-down list boxes. 1 box of how many treatments 5,10,20 box 2 cost per treatment, 90, 100, 120, then button to calculate x cost processing and a dynamic text field to display the result.   Here is a link to an AS3 example.  The data are added to the combo boxes via the Properties section "Settings" Panel  It includes simplified checks to see if the two choices have been made.

• Non-visible value in the drop-down list box

  I have a bar of control with 5 drop-down list boxes.
  
  As the user, the value in a box, others are refined to include only items that are related to the user's selection.
  
  All works well with an exception in a single list, the value is this drink is not visible.
  
  Anyone has previously met and nobody knows how to correct?

  Duh.

  In the one case where him point fails to show I was not have cast the value as a string.

• How to change the items in a drop-down list box that is part of an array of clusters

  In the attached vi, I have an array of clusters and each cluster contains two drop-down list boxes. How can I edit the items in the drop-down list box 1 for all elements in the array? (All elements of list box 1 has the same elements.)

  By way of illustration, I have also included the case of trivila, for example, edit the items in a separate drop-down list box that is is not part of an array of clusters (combo box 3). Please notify. Thank you.

  Right click on the drop-down list box and select Create-> Node-> String() property. Place it on the block diagram. Change to write (right click) and then feed him an array of strings.
