  I use 8 USRP RIO 2943Rs transmission of signal and receving (4 for Tx) and 4 for Rx I'm using the "signal-based" method for synchronization of all devices. And I did it. I tested the system the result is very interesting:
  1. when I put the sampling rate of less than 40MS/s IQ, I can obversve very good phase locked Tx and Rx signals (I use a sine wave CW for tests), please refer to video joint (locked 40MSs)
  2. BUT, when I put the IQ more than 60 MS/s sampling rate, I'll lose phase lock. Please refer to unlocked 60MSs. My goal is to run the system at 120MS/s
  I have doubt as to if the problem comes from two sides:
  a. the sync methed isn't fair
  b. OR, should I increase the clock that operates the loop 'In Streaming radio engine' in the FPGA VI. as shown in the following image.

  In my setup, I use NI6602 card and driver latest DAQmx for linux.

  I would like to generate a single pulse on ctr0 using the output of ctrl3 as a trigger. To do that I planned to create two tasks: the main task that will generate a 1 s pulse on the task ctrl0 and trigger that generate pulses trigger 100ms on ctrl3. I tried after the code, but it deosn work:

  I do the good management of errors, but I took it here to a short code snippet. There are no errors during execution of the program.

  I suspect that I miss some configurations of triggering on the mainTask, cause if I use the single trigger of software, both impulses (trigger and hand) are generated correctly. I also tried with digital output as a signal to the trigger, and it does not work.

  Already, I have solved my problem.

  As I suspect I messed up configuration of trigger for main task. I was not checking the errors in these 3 functions:

  DAQmxSetStartTrigType (mainTask, DAQmx_Val_DigEdge);

  DAQmxSetDigEdgeStartTrigSrc (mainTask, "Dev1/PFI38");

  DAQmxSetDigEdgeStartTrigEdge (mainTask, DAQmx_Val_Rising);

  When I did, I realized that the other source of relaxation setting gave due to error:

  DAQmx error: terminal Source routing is not found on the device.

  Make sure that the name of the terminal is valid for the specified device. See Measurement & Automation explore valid names of terminals.

  And this error is due to a bad name, that should be "/ Dev1/PFI" or "PFI" instead of "Dev1/PFI.

  -Switch to waveform base voltage generated when a hardware trigger is received

  Is it possible to do this with a multifunction DAQ card? I have the impression that seitching of the DC to waveform generation can be done in software. This would lead to some downtime. How long will the dead time? The voltage will be stable over this time?

  See screenshot of the joint, this could be an option. First of all, you can do a DAQmx task that allows you to send a continuous tension, when you disable directly task the DC output will remain at the level you selected before. Then you create a task DAQmx will send a wave form and waiting for a trigger to do. The output will be at the DC level until there is a trigger so the waveform will be produced.

• Several synchronization AO-DO-DI via DAQmx, external trigger devices

  Having trouble getting the digital input to trigger analog output unit.

  I have 2 AO cards (although I'm testing only with 1 device AO)

  2 cards DIO - using one for output, one for input

  All 4 cards are connected via a RTSI cable, and the cable is correctly condfigured in MAX, all 4 devices added to the cable.

  I consider the AO the 'master' unit map In this test, I plead for a finite number of samples, and I'm outside triggering map AO.

  As you can see, iI uses Signal export, export the AO and AO Start Trigger sample clock to DIO cards.

  I'm using Labview 2012 on PC Windows 7.

  The digital output is waiting for the AO trigger and appears off the coast of the AO sample clock synchronizing.

  The digital input expires if I only fire at the time, so he does not expect relaxation.

• 6th generation Nano more often used to synchronize

  Just got a used iPod Nano 6th generation, and I'm in trouble.

  I have an iMac 27 inch, model late 2009, running El Capitan. I have the latest version of iTunes.

  When I connect the iPod to the computer via most of the USB sites, it does not appear in the Finder as a mounted drive. However, it fact appear in system information under Bus USB 2.0-> Hub-> iPod. The system seems vaguely aware that there is a connected iPod, but doesn't let me do anything with it. The iPod itself says that it is connected, and it charges with success.

  However, when I plug the iPod into either of the USB slots on my Apple wired keyboard, it fact appear in the Finder. Basically, on 6 slots USB (4 on iMac) and 2 on the keyboard, it will only reveal when it is connected to one of them.

  Once I got it in the right port USB, iTunes has been able to recognize the iPod. However, it seems especially want to synchronize. Usually it hangs there for several minutes while trying to synchronize before you say it's impossible: "iTunes could not copy X to iPod Y because the file cannot be read or written.". At this point, there usually is no longer appears in iTunes (even if it is mounted in the Finder).

  Sometimes successfully, it syncs, but 90% of the time that it just hangs up. I don't see a model when this happens. I wrote this, I was able to do accept a synchronization of two podcasts and a song, and then it stopped working again.

  I tried to reset the iPod and be in and out of disk mode. I was unable to restore factory default via iTunes: nothing happens for awhile, then iTunes says that it cannot.

  I tried to manually add files to the iPod by dragging on in the Finder. This usually causes Finder hang and then must be restarted. In some cases, I can't even restart Finder until I pull the cable the iPod, as the whole system crashes.

  I used on the iPod disk utility, to fix all the errors (he found) and to clear its contents.

  I wonder if this is related to the USB cable, but I guess my thought is that if the cable was defective, wouldn't I have not have done until now? It shows in the Finder, cool and sometimes allows to synchronize a file. But I could well be wrong. Before I go buy a new one, I thought I would check here to see if it could be something else.

  Any help is appreciated. I have this during 4 hours, try different things, read troubleshooting guides, forum posts, etc.

  Your Mac is old enough to have ports USB 2.0, so your 6th gen iPod nano should work well with it.  My Mac mini's 2011 (last iTunes and OS X running); It works very well with my old iPods; most of them are older than your iPod nano.  It should work on the direct USB ports on your iMac.  It is strange that it works a little better on the free USB port on your keyboard.  Normally, I would suggest using a direct USB port on Mac when troubleshooting.  And your USB cable is probably fine; I would bad cable try another cable or using your cable power with another Apple device (if possible).

  First, you must use the procedure to Reset SMC (System Management).  It serves as a general hardware reset for the Mac.  For an Intel iMac, it's basically unplug the power cord from the iMac and reconnect it, at the end of a specific procedure

  Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support  (see Reset the SMC on Mac desktops)

  You can also make the correct procedure to Reset NVRAN ("PRAM") ol ', just in case...

  NOW, you can try some real tests to narrow down the cause of your problem.  These are separate test.

  (1) stop (power off) Mac and disconnect all the USB devices.  You can leave your connected USB keyboard/mouse.  Do this Reset (reboot) of your iPod

  Start the Mac, launch iTunes and connect the iPod to a USB direct on the Mac, by himself.  Is there a difference?  This is to exclude a conflict between connected USB devices.

  (2) the iMac in Safe Mode startup

Disconnect , then reconnect you user account.  Do not use Quick user change.  In the new user account, run iTunes and connect your iPod.  iTunes uses a new iTunes library.  Add a few songs to test the library.  Try things that don't work well in your usual user account.  This is to rule out a problem related to your usual user account or iTunes library.

  (4) you can do another test, if you have something like an external drive that can be erased.  Use the Setup program for El Capitan downloaded from the Mac App Store to install an external OS X "fresh" on the hard drive system, after erasing it in disk utility.  Startup test of external drive system.  Launch iTunes, plug in the iPod and try even.  This is to rule out a problem with your existing system of El Capitan, which can inherit problems that you apply updates over time.

  In each case, if the iPod works normally for this test, you have reduced the cause.  You can then focus your troubleshooting to find the exact cause.  Please post back with new discoveries...

  I've never used before sync but have a new computer and need to transfer the history and bookmarks from your old computer (which is returned under warranty). I spent many hours trying to get the sync to work without success. Yes, Firefox has been updated on the old computer.

  I have create a Firefox account and choose what I want synchronized, check the account and get the message that the account is verified. Then, I followed the various strategies suggestedby the Firefox guide and other online - click e-mail next to the sync icon, click the sync button, go to tools and click "sync now". Nothing happens. I restarted Firefox, and my cell phone between these different attempts.

  First, a "Comments" section appears saying ' Sync enabled: Firefox will start sync momentarily "."

  This isn't. Waited until 10 minutes. Nothing happens. Click the Sync button - nothing happens, has got to tools and select "Synchronize now" - still nothing.

  Some people with problems to receive a message. But in my case - nothing! Just does not. Have disabled firewall, etc. and makes no difference, still nothing.

  Not very amount of data transferred so far, but it seems it's reconnection to the server every 8 to 10 minutes and the transfer of certain data each time. I have who would monitor data transfer up to the stop.

When I compare my address book app to my bb contacts there are has some contacts missing on my BB but still visible in the address book. Any suggestions or thoughts on this issue?

  I found the solution to my problem! Apparently, the default desktop software search all contacts and groups but with no group in the address book on my mac it would give me the dreaded sync error. I created a group and called it the phone moved that all my contacts from phone him then connected my BB and Voila! No synchronization errors more. Hope this helps those who are facing the same problem.

  I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else, but I'm having a hard time finding examples and tired after a long day of work.

  in any case, I use a PXI chassis with a PXI-7854R FPGA Board and module synchronization PXI-6652.  I have the FPGA biphasic pulses being generated at 8 analog channels.  I want to be able to do is to send a trigger (say at 1 Hz) for the PXI-6652, which begins at the exit of the biphasic pulse on the FPGA.  I'm running the FPGA through a host program as the variables on biphasic wave will change based on the current experience.

  So, in short, I was wondering how to generate a trigger of the PXI-6652 pulse and then use this trigger in a host of VI to start an iteration of a loop.  It seems simple enough, so any help would be appreciated.

  To answer your second question, Yes, the driver NOR-SYNC 3.3 is available for download and use with LabVIEW 2011.

  As far as use the PXI-6652 to start the acquisition on an FPGA VI, we have enough good examples provided with LabVIEW that will show you how to proceed.  To actually generate a trigger with NO-Sync, there are several examples in the Finder for example of NOR (help > find examples) which send a trigger one of the PFI lines to be used with the other modules.  You can search for OR Sync and they all appear here.  You need this driver installed first before you see anything, however.

  Also, if you look through the viewfinder of the example under Hardware Input and Output > R Series > FPGA Fundamentals > triggers and guard dog, you will find an example of triggering good enough it for use in your FPGA code.

  This example uses NO-Sync to trigger a device of the M series, which is not relevant to what you are doing (he uses DAQmx), but there is a very good example of generation OR-Sync trigger here who I think can help.
