Problem of plugin with CS4 - please help

I am trying to open InDesign CS4 and I get a "Cannot open the file, please install the latest version or upgrade to the latest version of InDesign your plug-ins". I did the upgrade to InDesign, but I can't find anything on the upgrade of plugins. As well, which is really weird, is that it says it cannot find all Adobe pluging and I all loaded.

Help, please!

    Try to hold the alt/option key while you restart Lightroom. Make sure that the right catalog file is selected and click on the "integrity test" box to see if there is a problem with the catalog file that might be repaired.

  • I have adobe first 10 items and I'm having some problems with it please help

    Here are the problems I am having with Adobe Premiere Elements 10:

    1 transitions won't load. The word loading will appear and it will not come to the top.

    2. the videos will not play smoothly. When I press on play skipps in a way he will not play smooth, making it very difficult to change.

    3 keeps closing on me. It will be something that comes up that says "Adobe premiere elements has stopped working and closes in the program. He does constantly.

    The first two numbers sound like a video driver issue.

    What is the make and model of your video/chip card?

    What is the installed video driver number and date?

    For the last number, it could be many things, including the video driver. I look over this ARTICLEand if there is nothing in the first part, then proceed to set up a computer in the second part of the OS. It would probably be a good time to publish the complete specifications. your computer and the images of your project and Source. Finally, the third part covers many of the troubleshooting tips and provides many links.

  • How to convert AVI files for first CS4 (Mac) with VLC - Please Help!

    Hi thanks for the reading-post it here for the first time.

    I'm another grass sorry, trying to convert AVI files, so I can import them into first CS4 on a Macbook Pro laptop. I am using VLC on the macbook to perform the conversion. I don't want to use free converters such as iSquint (tried and many others) b/c they cause a significant loss of video quality. But I'm trying to do it for free! (I'm broke).

    Been read tons here and on other forums to get advice first, but in my view, none is really specific to my situation.

    I'm fine (slight quality loss) video but NO Audio. I want the audio too!

    AVI files seized on an old NV3 camera SD card.

    VLC said the Codecs for these files I got off the SD card are as follows:
    0 workflow:
    Type - video
    Codec - MPEG - 4 (XVID) video
    Resolution - 640 x 480
    Rate - 30

    Stream 1:
    Type - Audio
    Codec-MS ADPCM (audio ms)
    Channels: Mono
    Sampling frequency - 22050 Hz
    Bits per sample - 16

    For example I tried to convert the same file as follows:

    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/Audio MP3 192-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/Audio MP3 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/MPEG Audio 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-2 VID 1024 bits/Audio MP3 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG - 1 1024 bits/MPEG Audio 16 bit VID
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG - 1 1024 bits/MP3 Audio 16 bit VID

    When converting to MP4 (MPEG-4) I get a general error while importing first so no dice on that, and I tried a lot of other configurations/combinations, but not all. 

    I check each result with VLC before import into the Prime Minister and they play both audio & video fine with VLC.

    My question is the following: what settings can I select in VLC for audio first? Or if there is a specific codec I need to download and install a download link... would be much appreciated.

    Alternative solution?...

    If I put these files on the SD card in my camera and click on and drag them on the macbook pro laptop as AVI files (instead of dragging to a PC first, as was the case)... don't you think it would make a diff?  Also, I tried sucking to the top of the camera first, but that didn't work... the camera turns on when connected to the computer... so that you can not navigate to a file on the camera and then use the GUI first to suck.

    I have a laptop. These original files play well with Windows Movie Maker because I downloaded the appropriate codec. Hi and low tried a mac version of this codec without result. CS4 my install discs do not work on Windows/PC. Trust me I wish they did! Even the configuration required on the package is in the absence of any mention of Windows. Windows Movie Maker convert .mov... that was my first game b4 plan, I realized that VLC was quite robust and user-friendly in its Export Wizard codec functionality.

    Any help would be much appreciated! I swear! I'm banging my head against the wall and I want to just change already!

    Do not use the flow function; This isn't what you are doing.  (Although technically, I don't think it matters)

    Use the convert/save option.  The first screening, video - H.264 + AAC (MP4), should work great.  Don't change anything.  Save the file with a MOV or MP4 extension.

    If you get audio weird sounding, then create your own preset that matches the Video - H.264 + AAC (MP4) preset, uncheck only Audio the Audio tab and convert to video.  Then run convert/Save using the Audio - CD preset.  Save the file as a WAV (or an AAC?).

    Import the 2 files into PR.  You shouldn't have synchronization problems if the points are aligned in when you add them to the sequence.

  • Skype problem - last version does not, please help

    So I can't install the latest version of Skype. It's really frustrating because whenever I try to install it, an error comes up saying "Failed to get address of procedure for GetLogicalProcessorInformation (KERNEL32.dll)"

    -J' tried to open Skype after installation by clicking on the icon, but the same thing happens.

    -J' also tried uninstall and install Skype several times, but nothing works.

    -J' downloaded Service Pack 3, I've read about this problem and some websites recommended to do this, but again, nothing has worked, same error appeared.

    -I can not download the older versions of Skype, because every time that I install them, it takes me to the login page and so I put my login information, but it won't let me through, and it is said that they released me because I have an obsolete version of Skype.

    If you receive the same error message after update to SP3, then it means that the installation of SP3 was not successful. Try to reinstall SP3.

  • WRT160N problem, Cant update firmware (downgrade) PLEASE HELP!

    At this router running for a few weeks. Its got that * beep * problem connection but just today, it is even worse. Every 30 seconds or so, he will lose to the modem and internet connection for about 2 seconds. So even if I try to update my firmware up to 008 I don't get the chance. The upgrade gets about 50% of fact and then I lose internet and it fails. * beep *? Please please please help

    You must not be connected to the internet while doing an update of the firmware.  Just the computer cable connected to the router and that's it.  Try the upgrade again to 008.

  • Eclipse problems with the plugin SDK installation - please help

    You have a new PC.  Yes for me.  Installed the new Eclipse + BB JDK of this site.  There is no option for BlackBerry projects when I run Eclipse.

    When I import my old PC projects, there are tons of red x in them.

    If I go to software updates, it shows 1.1 plugin and v5 SDK * is * installed.

    Something simple, I'm sure.

    I have not installed Java SDK 6 real.  Although he does not tell you which at the time.  He moved very well, it just doesn't work.

    I have installed the Java SDK6 and reinstalled and it worked.  Thank you, Mark.

    My old laptop died this weekend and I need to reinstall CS4, but when I connect to my Adobe account, it does not install again.  Help, please.  My old laptop will not turn on, so I can't delete the old license.  Not sure if this is the problem or not.  Adobe customer service is any help.
