Problem of position simple html page footer

I have set up a HTML with conventional markers for container, header, etc., but I am unable to set the position of the foot of page which is under 3 vertical placeholders - I can float the box to the right, beyond the boundaries of the container, but otherwise it is by default on the left beyond the boundaries of the container.  What rules should I use to position the space in the center of the width of the container - none of the rule definitions CSS3 Dreamweaver seems to work as I expect.

Placement under the 3 vertical placeholders is the cause of the problem, but whatever it is, can someone provide me with instructions for a fix.

  • Building simple HTML Page at the APEX

    Hello
    I am very new in APEX and this is the first project of mine to try to convince my organization as a good tool to use. I'm mainly a developer of forms. So, I'll build a Workbench for the Group profits in my company and my first page must be just a homepage with static text and a couple of links to launch my next pages. I added a blank home page at my request and then to EDIT the properties of the region on this same page, I type my static text and it is coming in the text mode free movement, I want to change the fonts, the sizes of some texts and give new lines etc..
    My question is that I have to write HTML code to achieve this in the part of the source text?

    Thank you
    Vishal

    Vishal,

    Yes, if you create an area HTML, you will have to manually put your HTML in there. APEX does not give you a WYSIWYG editor (as I know), but it should be easy for them to do - one of the options for creating an input field is a rich TEXT Editor. I don't know why they didn't implement which.

    My personal recommendation for HTML static is to change in your current Favorites out of the editor and then copy - paste the HTML code in the APEX.

  • Code search for column in html page

    I need code to search for a single column of a simple html page with 1700 family names. Something that works similar looking for a name in 'Contacts' on a mac.

    Meanwhile, you can use your browser built in search (Ctrl + F).  In the search bar, type Young.  Moves to the first instance of the same name.

  • HTML Page Windows7-XP localhosted compatibility problem

    Hello everyone this is my first time doing a Web page, so I'm quite the noob, and I'm having a very difficult problem, I made a Web page using Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows 7, a lot of images, audio, backgrounds, etc. The thing is... If I send (all the folder images, sounds, etc.) to people who use XP, they see only the text, nothing else, if I send it to people who use Win7, they can load the entire page, so the problem lies in the image code, I know that the locations are different between Xp and 7, Yes, is there a way to make the operating system independent Web page? I can't even edit img src code, it's as < img src = "Dreamweaver.png" / > and if I inspect it with opera, it looks more to "file://localhost/C: / Users/Administrator/Desktop/Steluta/Dreamweaver.png. Is there a way to fix this without starting to scrap?  I tried moving them to drive C:\ and no chance after saving them... I know that xp is more like C:\documents and settings\user\desktop\steluta\dreamweaver.png, but I want the Web page to be compatible with xp and 7, it is a duty I have to do and I do not know what operating system the school has.  I would be deeply recognizing a solution, I would also like to run from a CD Web page... Thank you very much in advance xD!

    Seems to me you're moving things and going through a lot of unproductive trial and error without a clear idea of what the problem is, or what to do about it. Just try different theories with fingers crossed will make things worse gradually.

    Time to take a step back, to slow down and understand the issue. Then fix it.

    This has nothing to do with what OS view you the site with (Windows 7, XP, Mac OSX, or other). Web sites are independent of the operating system. It's one of the reasons why the web works so well.

    Of after what you have told us so far, it has everything to do with the incorrect file paths in the code.

    I'm working on PC, with Indesign CS 3. I wrote a 600-page book, 400 photos and extensive notes. Now, I try to change the position of 10 pages. The order 'verschieben Seiten' is OK, no problem with - for example - the pagenumbers. BUT: My notes numbers will not be told. Example: I take Page X with note 30-34, page 250 page 420. The last note on this page is 320. Now, my notes on page X must be reported: NO 30-34, BUT 321-325. It does not work. My X page changes the place, but my notes do not recognized this. They believe that they are already to the 250 page... Is there a possibility to reorganize my notes? InDesign

    This has nothing to do with age! This is the expected behavior.

    Break the link between text blocks is unnecessarily complicated, for

    the reason why you've noticed. And Adobe has not provided a simple way to

    that, although there is at least a free script available

    somewhere out there.

    But a script is not required.

    Break the link as you did. The text disappears.

    Now, place your cursor in text after the last visible character in the

    previous text block. Press CtrlSHIFTend to select all the invisible

    text. Press Ctrl-X to cut it. Place your cursor in the empty text frame,

    and paste the text you have just cut.

    That's it: the link is now broken, and everything should be in place.

    Repeat for the last image (as in my previous post) and continue

    According to the above instructions.

  • Sorting of images based on their position on the page

    How would I go about sorting the images based on their position on the page? I've read a few articles which mention the use of table method fate and checking their x and y values to sort the table. While that works on the page elements that are perfectly aligned with their x and is the axis, it fails on a layout like this. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could create an individual table for line1, line2, Row3 etc based on his position there and then sort them based on their position X and then create the master table combining them in order?

    I'm new to javascript, so it's a bit out of my League. Any help will be much appreciated.

    rows.jpg

    Hi again,

    I found an idea that seems promising to deal with the issues mentioned above. The main problem, as you have no doubt noticed, is that we cannot simply count about to coordinates (x, y) 'as they are', even after having rounded values, to extract implied rows and columns.

    When we look at the layout below:

    our eyes instantly detect what he expected to be 3 columns and 5 rows, but this underlying order is not immediately accessible from all sort all of the coordinates. We need to improve the algorithm.

    What I propose is to speculate about the gaps that occur on the ordered sequence of coordinates x and y, respectively. To reveal these gaps, we will first sort the data along the x-axis:

    The figure above shows that the width of the rectangles. Each arrow represents a rectangle, and I ordered the elements by increasing x-centers. We can estimate that the element identified #1 belongs to a new group of this simple fact: its left coordinate (red mark) is higher than the coordinated right (blue guide) of the #0element. This observation will give us a strategy to identify gaps in the column.

    Then, the same method is applied to detect the lines. (Sort by values y, identify gaps, based on the progress of the min - max).

    At the end of this process, each object has a (column, row) coordinate pair instead of fragmented values (x, y) . So, we can calculate the final order, i.e. the weight of the comparison function.

    Here is my implementation of this algorithm:

    // ========================================================
    // Up2Bottom and Left2Right Sorting Algorithm
    //   addressing (weakly) sparse rectangles
    // ---
    // Usage: Select the objects, then run the script
    // Target: InDesign CS4/CS5/CS6/CC
    // ========================================================

    const CS = +CoordinateSpaces.SPREAD_COORDINATES,
          AP_MIN = +AnchorPoint.TOP_LEFT_ANCHOR,
          AP_CENTER = +AnchorPoint.CENTER_ANCHOR,
          AP_MAX = +AnchorPoint.BOTTOM_RIGHT_ANCHOR;

    var sel = app.properties.selection || null,
        data = [],
        r, i, j, k, t, n, w, vMax;

    if( sel && 1 < (n=sel.length) )
        {
        // Collect coordinates and IDs
        // --> {min:[xLeft, yTop], weight:[x,y], max:[xRight,yBottom], id}[]
        for(i=0 ; i < n && (t=sel[i]) ; ++i )
            {
            data[i] = {
                min:    t.resolve(AP_MIN,CS)[0],
                weight: t.resolve(AP_CENTER,CS)[0],
                max:    t.resolve(AP_MAX,CS)[0],
                id:      t.id
                };
            }

  • Flash plays don't pitch on the html page after the model is changed

    Hello

    Can anyone help. If I change anything on a model, none of the files .swf on pages based on this template will work when you preview in the browser.

    I use DW CS3.

    Someone at - it ideas

    Nice day

    This problem can be considered a limitation to a certain point because Dreamweaver did not have the "auto-Update" capacity, although it wasn't really the best practice to include Flash content in a model DW.

    There is a workaround solution. You may need to change the template (.dwt) himself and work in Code view.

    • In Code view, use find and replace (Edition > find and replace) have so that it will be easier for you to find what you are looking for.
    • In the find and Replace window, choose current Document as the value for find in, the Source Code and as a Research.
    • In the search field, type--> 'src' (including apostrophes), and then click Next.
    • Once you have found 'src', pay attention to the simple quoted text next to it. The value in single quotes is the path where the Flash file is saved. try to remove the ... / if you happen to see. (do if the Flash file is located in the same folder where the HTML page that uses it is registered)
    • Use find and replace again, this time, try searching for 'movie' (including the single quotes). Again, you will see the text next to him who has the same value as what you are looking for before. Do the same thing, try to remove the ... /. (do if the Flash file is located in the same folder where the HTML page that uses it is registered)

    Save the DW template file and try to view the pages in the browser.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • legality/practicality of nesting complete and valid HTML pages

    People:

    DW CS3 on Intel Mac OS 10.4.11

    This is a generic skeleton HTML page call the "index.php". You will see a little
    php in the mid code:

    <! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional / / IN".
    " http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd" >
    < html >

    < head >
    ...
    < / head >
    < body >
    ....
    <? PHP require ("another_page.html");? >
    ...
    < / body >
    < / html >

    If the content of the 'another_page.html' is invalid, it contains, outside
    level, < html > < / html >. That is, when the page is served, the
    recipient browser will see something like this:

    < html >
    ....
    < html >
    ...
    < / html >
    ...
    < html >

    In other words, this completely nested product - well that otherwise quite valid - HTML
    files. I read that this is a BAD IDEA... Of course, you can do it, but I can't find anywhere that it is said that you can't tell the HTML specification.

    Uh, I was nesting of files like this for months, and I have not noticed
    something goes wrong on the customer. But I have a very narrow test
    Basic: a simple browser, only FireFox on Mac OS 10.4.x.

    OK, common sense says that you should not risk doing unusual things for browsers. Based on what I saw while looking for this issue and the fact that pages that result may not test W3C validation, I am convinced: it is definitely a BAD IDEA, and I need to fix it.

    You can guess that I have a deeper question. Well Yes! I designed a site
    who has a unique model page, index.php, which dynamically fills
    content using php 'require '. I put individual pieces of content of .html
    files, which are all autonomous valid - in starting and ending < html >
    with < / html >. Bingo! Stand-alone-valid HTML nested files, BAD IDEA.

    Why do all the .html files autonomous valid? Because Dreamweaver
    insists. I can't get working WYSIWYG, nor can I use the entire site
    CSS differently. I need all the work to do in the index page and the line segments.

    Question 1: This problem is not all the time in the design of dynamic web page?

    Question 2: How can I fix or workaround?

    I thought about plans to "roll out" the index page but they rearrange the whole problem. There is no way to "UN-contain" logically contained things.

    DW provides a way of 'pseudo include' the outdoor elements for the purposes of the creation? I looked, but I did find something like that.

    Otherwise, there could be a script or an add-on that removes items from some files - inside those holding the content - before their download. I have not seen such a thing, but I'm not quite clear about where to look.

    All the other solutions I've heard involve hand-setting of each file for each edition. It is absolutely not realistic!

    TIA

    Henry

    Gary:

    Sound effect: . "Design-time style sheet" is EXACTLY what I needed! I've looked everywhere but I couldn't find anything, even in places like the DW CS3 help. Could not understand the terminology of right. Never occurred to me to look in the menu 'text' DW. As soon as I read the sentence, I knew that my troubles were nearly over. Do you have a quick test case. Yeeeeeeeesssssss! The W3C Markup Validator is now happy. Thank you thank you thank you.

    For the record, I had up to 200 pages of content that will need to be marked as containing the design-TIME style sheet references. This is not something I relish in hand and the mouse, using the DW--> Styles CSS-> DTC text... I did a little research, found that the "marking" is done by the clichés of XML files in the nearby _notes folder. Looks like a great job for a script...

    Uh, kind of followed: it was how you got my topic ' legality/practicality of HTML pages complete, valid of nesting' to the 'Design-time style sheet? Really, I have accumulated my brain to get to that I wasn't happy with it, and many people did not have what I wanted could you suggest what should I use in the subject line and the body of my post which would have been better?

    Thank you!

  • I can't use FF to connect to simple Web pages. A lot of pages javascript seems to be disabled. have deleted the C:/p/moz FF x 86 files and reinstalled. No change.

    I am running Firefox 24.0 with Windows 7. I can't use Firefox to connect to simple Web pages. When I try to use all the features of sites Web which include cookies of the browser does.
    Many functions JavaScript seems to be disabled, that many parts of Web pages do not work. I went to: Tools > Options and checked all the settings for something suspicious, it looked good.

    This happened a few months at least. I tried to remove Firefox yesterday, by deleting this file: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox and then ran the Mozilla Firefox
    Installer and it did reinstall correctly, but the problem persists.

    I only use Firefox for browsing the web. I also use other browsers with my install W7: I use Opera, IE and chrome, they all work great. The only extensions that I use are the Manager session 0.8.0.8 and selector Group tab 0.1. My Silverlight, Shockwave, Acrobat, and Flash Player are all up to date. I use the default theme. I use all services.

    I don't know what else to do. Help, please.

    Alright. I checked the stuff you guys recommended on the preferences and profiles. I didn't know a lot of this stuff, I do now, that's really useful, thanks!

    I checked the help > information on troubleshooting and I went there to reset Firefox. Which caused the browser working properly again, so I guess I was wrong earlier when I said that it "broke the program."

    I looked at the data I'm in sync. I started the browser synchronization again. This time I unchecked individual boxes, starting with preferences, then I synchronized and looked to see if the problem is back. It turns out that what he was doing was data "bookmarks".

    I guess that the only thing left to do is clear my sync data.

  • Hindi fonts not rendered in html pages

    Hindi fonts not rendered in html pages are operating except the mangal font and original.
    Is it a bug or a problem which I am not capable of tackling.
    Browser Mozilla reveals an error in the console (font download has failed or the character encoding of the HTML document is not declared. The document will be made with text truncated in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from the US-ASCII range.

    Please answer soon.
    Thank you.

    1 - is the HTML page to specify the correct encoding, and is the file saved in this encoding? Validate your markup and style sheet in the links below.

    2. the style sheet point to the correct file?

    3. the police is a Unicode font? If so, there may be another problem with the font file. Try to use the following fonts generator to convert it into several formats.

  • Cannot open html page to trident engine

    Our home alarm system is accessible via the internet. Until I've used MS IE there is no problem. Unfortunately Firefox cannot open html pages. Your alarm system producer says that Firefox is not the good browser for that. After searching the Internet I found, that alarm works with the browsers of engine trident (not just from MS). Now the question: any Firefox plug in, or should I to get Firefox? I don't want to buy a new alarm system for US$ 2,000! Help, please! Thank you!

    Well Yes, its there for FF too...

  • Windows XP update error: 0x8024D001, the site has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view.

    Original title: Windows XP ~ Windows Update problem.

    During three days of solid, and I slept then work, sleep and then working to solve a problem I have with the functionality of Windows XP Windows Update - this is the error message I get constantly

    [Error number: 0x8024D001]

    The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below may help you solve the problem.

    I installed a new copy of Windows XP on a hard disk nine, installed Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3, installed Internet Explorer 8 installed .NET Framework 2.0 as Microsoft requested, modified popup settings to allow Windows Update page to be free to scan my system for updates, etc... and I even enabled all Active X permissions BUT I still can't Windows Update to allow me to download all updates, patches, etc... Windows Update has generally

    I also turned on automatic updates requirement also BUT no dice - I can't just not update Windows to activate and start as normal, no matter how many times I format the drive and do a fresh install.

    I had to get a new drive hard as my old crashed.

    Now, I have to install Windows XP again but I noticed how old, easy to update somehow has been paralyzed.

    It's as IF Microsoft is crippling of Windows Update to start simple as pie, then now we users HAVE to jump through hoops to get our operating system Windows XP set to day and repeatedly queries Microsoft asks us or install 'FIX IT' service does not work and it is impossible to reach by phone about Microsoft , and the live online help runs into errors when it is installed, so I have to hit the Internet Forum here for advice.

    How, in words simple Windows XP allow Windows Update to run the scan, to download and install the process what it is supposed to do?

    What exactly is missing to allow the screen to show the green bar and scan the notificiation there have updates available?

    What I am doing wrong?

    I really hate to say this, BUT I'm literally at the edge of tears.

    Help!

    Is there a maintenance program master as an "all-in-One rollup patch" that will search the lack of programs, applications, and settings of Windows XP and makes a one-way relay to set everything right and ensure that the programs needed to make Windows Update work are knitted in Windows XP, including all programs missing subprogrammes and to settings then check their self errors or incorrect version but it provides goes off to FIND the RIGHT version of What is needed?

    Or better yet a disc Compilation of master i.e. Final Service Pack 4.0 that contains all fixes known on DVD that would be found in the downloaded Windows Update but rather is purchased for $10.00 that contains each hotfix and update known for Windows XP so that we can manually update Windows XP on the side of the user of the Internet without having to go on the internet?

    You need 3 things to WU work.

    WindowsXP-KB892130-ENU - x 86 .exe   KB892130 Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.9.42.0
    WindowsXP-KB898461x86 - ENU.exe   KB898461 Installs a permanent copy of the Package for Windows Installer

    And and unofficial WUA.

    He's right on obsolete dll of WUA that MS is not updated once sometimes for some unknown reason... even the WU Fix there don't solve it. I ran a few tests in the fall and virtual machine on the same issue yesterday. You must install the unofficial Windows UPDATE agent.
    Windows Update Agent below... MS last isn't the last. Boo Ms.
    Download WindowsUpdateAgent7.6.7600.256 - 257.zip to your desktop (MS does not have the latest version of Windows Update Agent. Only 7.4.7600.243 so make us with this).

    Unzip it, go to the folder and double-click RunMe - MakeInstallWindowsUpdateAgent.bat.

    It will download, MS, the files needed to create the Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.256/257 and then install it. The files that it contains are 100% Microsoft. He uses just a few third-party tools to make it.

    You will be left with the installer, WindowsUpdateAgent7.6.7600.256 - 257.exe. Keep or delete. Your choice.

    There is no stand-alone installer for the latest version of the Windows Update Agent (7.6.7600.256)

    EDIT: I forgot to mention. It took 1 hour before the scan finished for me. A guy that I was helping on another forum just let WU scan of the day to the next. When he awoke, the scan had the results. So please be patient.

    You can create a CD to date and does not deal with all the hassles during the fresh installation. You need nLite and my script of the UDC. You will only need SP3 when "slipstreaming". No SP1 or SP2.
