Problem of refresh/re-install Windows 8

I have a Dell laptop, Inspiron, which is not too good these days. It is a year and is come pre-installed with Win 8.je had created a recovery media after the purchase.

So I try to update my phone but I get this error, "some files are missing. Your installation or Windows recovery support will provide these files. »
I even tried refreshing with the recovery of disk inserted, but it did not help.
I had upgraded to Win 8.1 some time ago (2 months back). Had some problems so refreshed it back to Win 8 and (updated without fail and without the recovery disks). My hard drive had stopped working after a few days (probably my fault). If I gave the phone to the Dell service center which has formatted my system.
So, how to update my laptop.
I searched the internet a bit & has achieved these results for some orders specified in a Web site:

Hi yvesparfaitgoma,

Maybe a recovery disk is damaged. I suggest to create a new installation of Windows 8 media and check if it makes a difference.

See the article and try to create one:

  • Problem using Bootcamp to install Windows 8.1 MacBook Pro

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012) running OS X El Capitan v10.11.1. About two years ago, I installed Windows 8.1 using boot camp with no problems. Since then, I upgraded HDD from the laptop of the original 500 GB SSD to a Transcend JetDrive 725 960 GB SATA III. Note, this is the only upgrade material I have made to the computer. Following this hardware upgrade that I decided to only restore my Macintosh HD, or unfortunately I will not restore the Bootcamp partition.

I am now trying to install Windows 8.1 using training camp again, but unfortunately a few problems that prevent quick installation, I've experienced in the past. I have read this problem a lot but have not found a solution that works for me. Here are the steps that I've repeated several times:

-Download an ISO of 64 bit Windows 8.1 since: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows8ISO.

-Connect Force SanDisk Cruzer 8 GB USB 2.0 support

    -run Assistant Boot Camp

-check all the tasks and continue

    -create a 60 GB partition

-computer restarts automatically, and a windows setup screen

-Enter the serial number of the product

-Select installation upgrade, see here: http://s20.postimg.org/t7wy0siod/Photo_07_12_2015_12_16_23.jpg

-PROBLEM: I am told that the installation cannot complete, see here: http://s20.postimg.org/day642qa5/Photo_07_12_2015_12_16_31.jpg

I repeated this a few times with several USB 2.0 flash drives, but with the same results. I also tried selecting ' Custom: install Windows only (Advanced) ", but the next screen does not allow installation on the bootcamp partition, see here: http://s20.postimg.org/3mkq0xvgt/Photo_07_12_2015_12_15_09.jpgand here: http://s20.postimg.org/5pv58lv9p/Photo_07_12_2015_12_15_00.jpg "

I would be grateful if someone could please help with this problem.

    Thank you

It is the expected behavior. OS X does not have a license for the creation of NTFS. It creates a FAT partition. After the error, select the Format for only the partition named Bootcamp (do not use another partition) and let the installer to format it to NTFS and continue the installation.

Upgrade will not work, because there is no previous installation of Windows to upgrade. You see the error message is correct.

  • problem with sound after installing windows 8.1

Hi, I have dell vostro 1400 and I installed windows 8.1 a few days before and since the sound does not work in my machine! tried to uninstall the audio and installed again, nothing... set driver update audio driver... nothing as well, even I uninstalled windows and installed again, but no sound comes out, any help please because I'm depressed and don't know what to do?

    THX

    Hi nashnash15,

I checked the system specification and supports Vostro 1400 are Windows XP and Windows Vista 32 Bit operating system. However, this system has not been tested with Windows 8.1 and would usually rely on generic drivers of windows updates.

If in cases that do not work, you may need to return to the old operating system.

Let me know if you have extra help.

  • problems with sound after installing windows 7

My sound/audio does not work on my HP Pavilion dv2023tu notebook after a clean installation of windows XP.

The convenience store said there is a problem with the driver, but I can't find a new driver through windows update, and HP does not either for my model. The device installed on my laptop is called high definition Audio Device. Can anyone help, if not, where can I download the drivers from. It is better to buy driver update software to help locate the right driver?

    Hello

A lot of Vista for Windows 7 drivers, so try the following.

Download the Audio driver from the link below and save it to your desktop.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp34001-34500/sp34387.exe

Once the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  If the driver installs successfully, restart the computer and check your audio files.

When I check the possible solution and suggestion of the internet, it says I have to install the driver software which can be downloaded from the website of Sony laptop. but I can't find the driver for my model. Please help me

There is no Windows 7 drivers for your model. Laptop came with vista, usually the vista drivers should work. On the download page, select Windows vista for your operating system then "original drivers" will be available on the "filter files by type:" field.

  • Crashes in everygame since I installed windows 7

Hello, since I installed windows 7, I can't play anygame, although I can but everysingle game freezes after like 10 seconds. Screen freezes, sound still playing, I can move my mouse, then goes full of lines and points, and my only option is to press the restart button, most of the time that it seems to happen as I have whenever I see a sort of animation in the game as a character or something, or when I scroll over a clickable screen icon. Now, keep in mind, I'm like a Caveman with computers, I have really no idea what im doing I can not even tell u what my system information unless someone tells me how to check that my computer lol

What I really need, is step by step help to find what is the problem itself, then the solution, if you could just tell me what you need to know on my system (and how I can actually find this information in my computer)

    Info on accidents at random:

-Used to play a lot of games on XP and it worked fine, World of warcraft, counter strike and a lot more and has never had any problems, started when I installed windows 7 and if I remember right after the installation of W7 and seeing that no game worked, my friend reinstalled XP, but the games stop working with XP too... so I thought that though even they do not work I might as well keep the most recent one lol, so he reinstalled W7

-For some reason any I can play leagues of legends for about 1 to 3 hours before getting a crash (all other games is an instant crash ex: Diablo 2, world of warcraft, counter strike, Shaiya and combat arms, battle of the Immortals)

-I can watch all the movies or shows HD television or no HD on the internet, and I've never had a crash of it, except with the youtube player and a few other players that look like this one... don't ask why, but when I fullscreen these video players after 5-10 minutes, I get the crash... a little weird

If you think you know what my problem and have the patience to help me understand it would be much apreciated :)

    Thank you

Very well thank you very much, I could have searched for a while lol bad try to see why my 1 g stick does not appear on the list of devices, maybe it's just not cut out for good in my computer or something bad idk have my bro check this. IM curious tho, BOSD is the blue screen of death right? I read a little about it because it looked like my problem but I never really had a BOSD, nor my computer never fails in your system setup? The fact that I've never seen these Disconnections could mean that it is not a hardware problem, so I'm following what your sayingright, right? lol I searched a bit and found a job with someone who had this kind of problem and he explained how when you got low ram his forcing them to go back and statements of way too to carry information or something like that and this is where the question is...

Anyway im already confused enough for now :) ill get more RAM and see after that if my problem persists. I'll let you know how my comps feeling whne I install

Thanks again for your time :)

  • Refreshing (?) a Windows 7 install and issues related other sorta...

First, asker time question... Please forgive the wall of text.

I upgraded my desktop computer HP from Vista to Windows 7 using their free upgrade method too complicated who was to get several DVDs of them, creating about 5 more on my side and invest about 5 hours along the real upgrade.  It was mid-2009 and things were going well. 5 years later, things are starting to get bogged down... I have problems with the start time, the response of the system, etc., and I wanted to re - install Windows 7 to update the system, but if I do it the way HP designed, I need to recover the system of their integrated score that will rebuild Vista, THEN go through the routine upgrade of 5 + DVD and I do not want.

Can I buy Windows 7 Home Premium, updating my system and use the original key of the Vista software as a number of upgrade?  Do I need to purchase a Version upgrade?  I have two laptops and three desktop computers, all computers equipped with legit Windows 7 installed, but no original Win7 doesn't install DVD... could I use one DVD to refresh all my systems?  If this is not the case, should I have options other than buying a bunch of Win7 installs?

    Thanks in advance...

You cannot use a Windows Vista a product key to activate Windows 7. The product key to activate Windows 7 is unique to this version. Do you not have a product key with your free upgrade in 2009? Or the free upgrade to Windows 7 received as recovery media instead?

If this is the case, then its probably best to buy a license of Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade and do a custom install on your current installation disk.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

Windows 8 - Refresh PC pre-installed Windows key recovery or installation DVD disc

The problem is that the number of keys for Windows 8 is required for this operation, and I can't get it. I got Windows8 pre-installed when I bought the laptop, so I don't have the installation DVD, I did not collect the number of keys in any documentation or found on the laptop.

What can I do to make sure that if I can restore Windows 8 and all my data on the laptop?

    Thanks for your help

To put it bluntly, YOU n 'T NEED a KEY! When you reinstall Windows 8, it is automatically activated from your key incorporated in the Bios. There is no need for to go you into the Bios to get the key. With Windows 8, it is how it is done. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.
