• Edited in Photoshop does not correctly display in Lightroom after recording the images

  I recvently EU cloud Adobe and upgraded from Lightroom 3 or 4.  Since the upgrade I had problems with Lightroom not correctly display images edited in Photoshop.  Instead of the photoshop image, it creates a new jpeg image and appears in the library.  the PSD is not loaded into the library.

  I take a jpeg image of my library and shoosing the change based on Photoshop.  By selecting Edit a copy, I'm tried with the original and edit a copy with lightroom adjustments as well as with the same results.

  In Photoshop, I duplicate the base layer, the image upscaling, running some filters, addition of volunteering adjustment layers.

  I save the image in Photoshop format in the original folder where the original jpeg was in the Lightroom library.  I record with maximize compatibility on.

  When I return to Lightroom, the catalog displays the two files, the original jpeg and a copy identical to it, NOT the new file in photoshop with alterations.  If I go in the folder images occupy in the Finder using the Finder command show two images link to the same original jpeg format.  The modified file to photoshop is there in the folder but does not appear in Lightroom unless I drag and drop it.

  I've disabled all the filters and ensured that the sort is sort by name.  The image does not automatically appears in Lightroom after mounting.  Any suggestions?

  PS. I'm not looking for the subject, and there are discussions since 2007 and lightroom 2 but their solution was to start from scratch basically and I have a carefully labeled, starred and labeled catalog of more than 30 000 images and really don't want to do that

  Images that are edited in Photoshop will be displayed automatically in Lr only when the image file saved in Photoshop is identical to open LR.

  You say you open a jpg of Lr, then edit in PS-among other things-adding a few layers. Layers are not supported in JPG format, so you must either save it as a psd or a copy in jpg.

  In both cases, is not the same image as the one opened in Lr file, so it will have to be imported into Lr appears. If flatten you your image after editing in PS and then do a to your JPG - not a - it will be displayed in Lr.

  PS: the only exception is when you open a raw image from Lr into PS and you save it to PS in the format of file specified in Lr for external mounting. The saved file is automatically displayed in LR.

• XP Pro SP2 - taskbar not there, missing icons. How can I fix it?

  The home screen takes longer than usual to load and the taskbar and icons appear not - just the paper painted. I recently reformatted XP and the same thing happened before that's why I reformatted XP. That solves nothing. System Restore does not resolve the problem. How can I fix it?

  Only the programs that I have installed are IE8, WinLive Messenger, MS Office 03, Adobe Flash PLayer, Adobe Reader 9.

  When the problem started first of all I could at least see the taskbar, but the hourglass showed when I flew over the taskbar :(

  Basicallt Explorer.exe does not start

  Well, that's what I did to solve the problem. In C:/Windows, I copied explorer.exe and renamed explorer2.exe copy, then I went to regedit and edited the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrewntVersion/Winlogon and change the shell to explorer2.exe and it solved the problem. Everything seemed normal. Maybe microsoft could set that as a sixth method Ko 318027? Some Ko means?

• How can I display icons and text in the bookmarks toolbar. If I roll over the icon I can see the text. I want the icon and the text are always visible.

  Hmm, I can't imagine an integrated way to display only the icons. Is it possible that one of your modules has changed the display style? You have "Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar"?

  You can view your extensions on the addons page and when they have an Options button, change their behavior. Or turn them off. I suggest starting your investigation with those:

  Open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Something seems relevant to the bookmarks toolbar?

  but still have no answer to my problem - I just wanted to reference I've tried many "patches" suggested, without success.

  On the question... in addition to causing me problems of dllhost.exe, I now see a list of other authors in my task which are guilty of collaboration Manager.  The interesting thing is that I put the finger on a particular instance of dllhost.exe (COM Surrogate) who is about 8 k in size - whenever I'm deleting this one (which can sometimes be difficult to find when there are multiple instances of similar size) all other instances of dllhost.exe problem simultaneously remove themselves as well.  This is only a temporary solution as the problem will resume as soon as 10 minutes later, gobble up all my CPU and memory.

  Anyway - as I said, I noticed several other spots displayed - the interesting thing is that these tasks ALSO disappear when I delete the task of dllhost.exe k 8 initiators.

  I know this post is a few months old, but I stumbled across it all fighting the same problem on a laptop of family members.  McAfee or Malwarebytes was able to track it down in my experience either.

  The task Mgr showed the same process taking a ton of memory and CPU.

• FF 8 causes flash to not however with load after you open the Task Manager and open the plugin container folder, everything works fine

  New upgrade FF and all the flash based video site does not load and makes computer almost hang. After I open the Task Manager and go to the folder where is the plugin container, everything works back. I don't do anything at all after opening the folder.

  What kind of error is it? Its very strange. If all goes well, there is a fix for this.

  Another method would be to uninstall FF and install FF8.0 and not use the upgrade FF7.0. It worked for me.

• 5 Lightroom does not start but shows that run in the Task Manager?

  I use Lightroom 5.7 (64-bit) on a Win7 machine and it worked perfectly until a few days ago. Now for reasons unknown to me, it will now not start correctly. According to the Task Manager, run, but nothing appears on the screen. It shows as a running process with about 15 020 k. If I try and interrupt the process he won't stop until I've tried 4 or 5 times.

  It turns out that Lightroom is not guilty.  The hard drive containing the catalog was not, and although tests seem to show like OK it was made only reading / writing at a fraction of the correct speed. If Lightroom was very time consuming to read it's own catalog.  It tooks 48 hours to exemplary concert 1 of data off the drive.

• The icons are empty in the task bar and put in service

  Original title: failure of menu start/task bar icons

  Using W7/Firefox.  The menu icons taskbar and start pin ok and work very well.  After "Hibernate/restart all icons turn to the blank sheets and will not work."  Whenever I click on an icon, the "Can t Open This Item" window opens.  I have to remove the "dead" and repin them icons again.   I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

  Run the appearance and personalization of convenience store and check if it helps.

  Click the Start button, type Troubleshooting in the search box and press enter. Click on appearance and personalization and run the troubleshooter.

  Method 2:

  Run the file system (CFS) Checker tool and check if that helps.

• Windows (composition and effects and presets) not refreshing

  Not much luck Googling for this response. I'm not a solid technology, but I am a heavy user of ae, so it's urgent for me. The windows/tabs are not refreshing. First example is in the editing/composition windows. If I scrub through the timeline with my mouse the updated publication. When I image by image (page up/page down) the composition does not update. Second example is when I search an effect in the tab "effects and presets. Search results remain empty no matter what I put in the textfield. I discovered a workaround is if I go into the control panel and switch between alphabetical (categories, folders finder,) display settings.

  I have reset the ae preferences and keep away the Adaptive resolution. I know that the cuda/video card is a problem, but it wasn't cause a problem in a version earlier than Adobe ae cc I had a month or two ago, before the update. Please let me know how I can solve this problem.

  

  Hmmmm... If that has happened since a year, it seems that something is really wrong with your AE.

  I suggest that contact you Adobe support.

  If you do not have to do a clean installation, make sure that you have a backup of all your stuff from Adobe, uninstall and run the CC cleaning tool before reinstalling.

• Cursor not refreshing enough quickly with v13.1

  With the new update, the cursor is not refreshing enough quickly with multiple presses the arrow keys (or ctrl-arrow). For example, if I do three or four presses of arrow in a row, the cursor disappears until I have stop the arrow sequence presses, waiting a fraction of a second and is displayed again.
