  I developed a demo application in which I have a data in the arraylist and I showed in the listview layout amx. Now, on each element of the list, I superimposed golink component for opening URLs outside the application.

  Side of the problem:

  (1) I have to double-click the list item for the opening of url that I provided by the golink component. On one leg, his does not work.

  (2) when I clicked on a list item, it shows me a flag and when I double click on it, once again, it shows an indicator.

  (3) issue even with directly by double clicking it, it shows a two indicator.

• My button overrides the properties in the click box

  
  I have a slide with a box, click on it and it is linked to a URL.  In properties, I checked the "project of break up to what the user clicks on" because the user must check the URL before you continue.  I have it set to display text stating you must click on the link again and again before you continue.  It works well with the following exception:

  I have a button at the bottom of the slide even for purposes of recognition and button properties are set for the user to go to the next page when you click the button.

  When I save/publish my project, the project allows me to click on the button and move to the next slide without first clicking on the click box and display of the URL.  It's almost as if the blade is in 2 sections.  If I click around the area of click, but not in it, I get the failure message "you must click on the link and review the document before you continue.  But if I go inside the same Blade (further away from the click box) and click on my button, I don't get the failure message and I go to the next slide.  The button is the substitution of the rule of the area to click on it.

  Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  If it were me, I would hide the properties button. Then I would create a tip Action that is assigned to the click box. Configure the tip Action to display the button and open the URL in a new window.

• Shares advanced with effect applies on the click boxes

  I could use some help troubleshooting one of my projects.

  I use a couple of clickboxes that perform distinct advanced actions - by clicking on the first clickbox (CB1) shows a picture, a text caption and click box (CB2) that appear with a fade-in effect apply (see the + ApplyEffect). Then, once everything is displayed, CB2 makes all melted (ApplyEffect only). It's like a pop - up glorified that fades in and out. It works very well... once!

  The problem is that if CB2 hides everything stated by CB1, I can open and close until the cows come home. However, as soon as I replace Hide to apply effects (fadeout) in advanced actions, he won't again. I click on CB1 but nothing happens.

  What I think is that CB2 is not hiding anything (only fades them out of sight) and when I click on CB1 the second time, it displays them, but I don't see it because they are always made disappear.

  I tried to add assign rdcmndGotoFrameAndResume with v_startframe at the end of advanced action of CB2, but nothing helped. Simply, he jumps the fadeout and go to the first image.

  Is it possible to delay my last action? Or maybe I do not have that sense. just started using advanced actions.

  First define the variables two user I've been using: v_start and v_fadeout. No need to give them a default value.

  On the slide, in the properties, Action on enter, accordion panel you choose entitled and in the drop-down list, you select v_start and then you will need to type in the system variable $$rdinfoCurrentFrame$ $. I find it easier to make a standard advanced trigger action on enter, because in the dialog shares advanced, you can also select this variable system instead of having to type it. With this action, the value in the v_start variable will be the first image of the slide number.

  For buttons, unlike the click boxes, you can time the point of suspension in the properties, timing Accordion Panel. Here, you can type in 6 to "Pause after '... You can display two buttons during the rest of the slide (CTRL-E).

  It will automatically return to the first image, that's what makes the rewind button: assign rdcmndGotoFrameAndResume with v_start.

  There is no possibility of time in a tip action.

  Explanation of Expressions: in the first expression, I calculate the number of frames corresponding to 6 seconds. the variable rdinfoFPS system automatically gives the number of frames per second, default value is 30. If the first expression will result in 180 frames. But I have to navigate to the absolute number of this framework from the beginning of the project. That's why I add the number of the first frame of the slide that is stored in v_start.

• Buttons and version 5.5 using the Click Box

  Using Captivate 5.5, in the same blade I try to use a box click to access a URL, but also to pause the slide with a button continue. When the click is selected, the URL is displayed, but the Captivate project moves to the next slide. My goal is to have the project on hold and require the participant to click continue to go to the next slide.

  With the above said, if I deselect the option to continue playing the project on the click box, continue it button does not appear.

• Advanced action not updated on the click box update

  I inherited a model with a quiz with boxes made from boxes to click. In its current form, the user can cilck the button submit without clikcking on any of the 6 boxes (not an ideal situation for a trial).

  I created variables for all click areas and associated with 0 (set checkbox 1 with 0... etc.).

  In the in the slide, I have on enter slide Execute advanced Actions, I have AND of statements indicating that if the checkbox is = to 0, then hide and disable the button send... and I am doing this for all the checkboxes (if checkbox1 = 0 AND checkbox2 = 0... etc.). I then an Else, indicating to display and activate the submit button.

  In the clickbox I have when it is activated (there's a box for clicked and clicked not), I put the variable checkbox to 1 between 0... that means that the advanced Actions 'should' be updated with the new variable to 1, but it does not work.

  I think it has something to do with the click boxes because it seems to stall the reading head and not continue to run the advanced Actions. It's my guess only as that is the question.

  Any thoughts?

  Removal of variables is possible in Captivate 9, not in previous versions. Even in CP9 that it's always a bit tricky, some variables seem is always 'used' so that they do not.

• The playback controls replace the click box

  This applies to both Captivate v4 and v5

  I have a project with playback controls that include the Pause/Play.

  I want to add two click boxes on a blade that the learner must click ' before being able to move to the next slide.

  When the slide reaches the first click box, the control Pause/Play display changes from Pause to play and the user can simply click on the "Play" option to work around the click box and move to the next slide, click point on the slide box, click 'replay' and then move to the next slide without having to go through the boxes click the slide.

  How can this be avoided so that the learner has to go through the slide via the boxes to click and do not use the set of playback controls option?

  PS. Playback controls Pause/Play are essential for the entire project, so do not show are not an option in this case.

  The simplest is hide the playback bar upon entering this slide and show again to the next slide. It is not possible to hide a button.

  I am creating a slide of summary in a project of capitvate users will consider before taking a quiz.  I would like this slide contains hyperlinks on various documents.  I want users to have and an unlimited number of time to look these over, and then click all they are interested in and then click a button to continue the quiz.

  No matter what options I put the click box, the project will continue for the quiz when a user clicks one of the hyperlinks!

  From what I have seen that you have specifically selected off the options to pause the movie until the user clicks. So now you're stuck as to why the film is not a break.

• Clickbox Action opens URL in the preview, not when I publish?

  Hi all

  I created a project in Adobe Captivate 5.5 which consists of three slides. Two slides accompanied by boxes click with action "open URL". When I saw the Web from Captivate, URL links work browser project, (although slowly...) When I click on them, they open the URL.

  When I publish the project to a folder on my computer four files copy: .htm, .swf, skin and standard.js .swf. When I open the project in a mouse and web browser click areas, they do nothing.

  I don't understand. Hints would be appreciated.

  Probably you produce output SWF. This means whether you are viewing via Flash Player.

  Unless you plan to copy the output to each individual computer, don't sweat it. Flash Player blocking the way. Once you download on a web server and view it from there, things should work correctly.

• Use the Click Box several times

  Hi all

  I have seen several posts on very similar topics but I'm looking for advice on my particular problem. I have a slide that contains multiple images. I would like to have the learner click images and an explanation of the image both written and spoken. I finished this ok using the standard box click a speech of fixation to the legend of success on. I would like to provide several opportunities to see the content of the learner. Out of the box, click boxes seem to work only once. I saw a few other messages that refer to advanced actions and the ability to reset the time that the object was used. Can you please direct me to either a lesson on this particular issue, or post a solution here...? I discussed intensively on the internet and found nothing so far. I use 6 Captivate.  Thank you!

  10867 is your identifier for debugging. But I think I see what is the matter. The overview shows that ADR uses the user ORDS_PUBLIC_USER instead of APEX_PUBLIC_USER. Especially for public applications that use authentication DAD (no authentication), this user name is used to identify if it is a public meeting and unauthenticated.

• Opening URL for the unit

  Hi all

  I have a MacBook Air, execution of Yosemite and Fusion 7 with a Win7 pro 64 bit VM. I use Office 2013 on the PC to the unit and would like if I could click on a link in Outlook or in a Word doc (PC side) and it default Safari (on the side of Mac) to open the URL. Is this possible? If so, can someone point me in the right direction?

  Looks like I found my own answer.

  • In Fusion, access the virtual machine > settings > default Applications
  • Select the option "open your Windows files and web links with Mac applications.

  The only thing that does not know if that will affect only the links, or if it will also affect Excel spreadsheets that I need to open in Windows. I guess I'll know with more tests.
