• Can I do a Power Point slide fill the frame?

The slides are about 4 x 3 and my HiDef video is 16 x 9.  Import the slides that individually they came the size I want with only more space on the left and right.  But the video of video channel 1 can be seen on the left and right sides of the slide.  I wonder if there's an easy way to put black on the left and right to cover the video poking through video channel 1.  I guess I can cut the video out under each slide and which would make the slides have black borders.  I wonder if there is a way to better and faster.

  Impress has worked great for the size of the slide at first, but the problem was that he messed up some of the PowerPoint slides.  The text is enlarged and displayed on top of the other texts.  And a few drawings and images were missing totally.  So I put Power Point on my computer.  I saved as .tiff files slides and they all have been imported in the form of file - much easier to impress for the import.  The slides look good, but when it is placed on the timeline, they are smaller with extra space on the top, bottom, left and right.  I want to make them as big as imported with Impress slides and have more space to the left and to the right.  Is there a way to do this?  Can it be done without loss of resolution on the slides?

  You can not do this. Programs include not only their program
  files. There are also many references in \Windows, in the register and
  elsewhere and these re all lost if you reinstall Windows.

  Restore your computer to factory settings is very rarely necessary.

• Adobe Presenter gel and Power Point crashing

  I have been using Adobe Presenter 7.0 with all patches (up to 7.0.6) in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.  Sometimes during recording, Adobe Presenter would freeze, then I had received a message that the Adobe Presenter component software plug-in caused a serious problem in Power Point and Power Point would need to stop.  I would lose all work record and the changes I had made since the last time I had closed on the recording mode.  I did some troubleshooting, removing Adobe Presenter 7.0 nor recharge it with the patches.  This did not help.  I also upgraded to 7.0.7.  It seems to be even worse now.  Any help would be appreciated!

  After some troubleshooting with support from Adobe, it continues to happen.  After a brief pause and return to the record, I had the same problem and just happened to find the following in a Google search: http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/kb/presenter-crashes.html.  So far (fingers crossed), I had no other incident!

• Problems with audio imported in PE4

  I've been using first Elements 4 for a couple of years now without any real problems, including the importation of the soundtracks in my projects.  In my last project, I imported 2 audio files of 100 haircut and the Black Eyed Peas (even though it's probably not relevant!).  These 2 files play fine in itunes, but when I import into the project, they stutter on playback.  Here are some facts that might be useful where I tried already different things after watching the forums:

  1. the audio files have .m4a file extensions which I believe is a Quicktime movie. The properties of the source audio clip form shows that - 16-bit - 44100 Hz stereo

  2. the audio format of project is 48000 Hz - 32-bit floating point stereo

  3. the original audio/video input of my camera (Canon HV20) was in video high definition

  4 there is no red line showing in the timeline section of the soundtrack where imported files or in the audio section of the movie imported from my camera

  5. the clips stutter in PE4 before even they are trained and fallen into the timeline, that is if you open from the sections of organiser or project

  6. I shot in other audio files in the project that are .m4a and they seem to work ok

  7. I tried to cut the audio on the original video to see if that was who collide with the additional soundtrack but that made no difference

  Anyone can shed light on what I'm doing wrong?

  music of iTunes used to have built-in software that would lock usage in a video editing project. I think that Apple has relaxed a bit- but it cannot always be fully compatible in its native format.

  Try to download the free program Audacity - a program call in my books of Premiere Elements a must - have. If you open the song in Audacity, you will find the option to save it as an MP3 or WAV.

  Try to convert your iTunes stuff a WAV before put you in Premiere Elements and see if that solves your problem.

  There is no option in Photos for MAc that allows you to randomly pull a slide show.

  You can create an album and have the album as an instant slide show in a random order using an Apple Script.

  None of them come with PowerPoint... You need to add Microsoft Office to your purchase of computer configured to order or buy a computer retail/ready-to-ship and office to buy separately.
