  I recently bought the VCR/DVD/HARD disc above device. It works great, but twice now she has not to record a program on the hard disk. It does not give an error, it just save 2 hours of nothing. You can read those 2 hours of black. In each case, it was ITV I was recording a Sunday night. I put it with the key "guide" and selecting the program. I looked at the power led lights up, and it blew at the right time.

  I don't see anything in the manual on how this can happen. I'm sure that I taped ITV successfully before but now I'm starting to have my doubts.

  Welcome to the Microsoft community. According to the description of the problem, you can't watch a webinar recorded with Windows Media Player. Provide the following information:

  I meet a few small problems with a v6.3 (4) pix 506 and 2924c-xl switch.

  On the switch for the pix port, many input errors and Runts appear.

  On the pix, there is a VLAN configured and the trunk port is configured as

  mentioned in the Release Notes for Pix.

  I could not find a bad configuration here, but maybe someone has an idea how to

  solve this problem.

  Runts on an 802. 1 q trunk port.

  A catalyst 2900XL or 3500XL that receives a frame of 802 bytes. 1 q encapsulated 64 or 66 on a port trunk counts as a runt. However, it continues to transfer the weft.

  This issue occurs when you connect to the Cisco 7960 IP phones switch when using a VLAN auxiliary (voice).

  This issue is cosmetic and because of an ASIC limitation.

  It should not cause any degradation in the performance of the switch.

• Satellite U400 PSU44E: Impossible record with Conexant Smartaudio 221

  It has been possible to record audio streams on the net with Audacity.
  After an upgrade to Windows 7 and updates for the drivers it is no longer possible. The sound has disappeared. Of course, I can always save the stream off the card, but only at a very very poor quality.

  It is a problem of Toshiba and sound card. I can still save on my other computer with another sound card. As I need to register to work, it is a serious problem for me, and there should be warnings when customers update.

  Is there a way to get around this? Are there patches?

  Something is hijacking your system.

  Run your anti virus and anti malware.
  Download the latest audio drivers for your device from the site of the manufacturer. Do not install yet. Also download Ccleaner (Google it).
  Remove all references from your audio device (software and drvers).
  Re starting and running ccleaner, registry bit - but back up your registry first, and the value of a restore point, just in case.
  Re install your software and audio divers, re boot, everything should be ok.

• The Sound Recorder with W7 now seems much more rudimentary than the old version, and I can't find any way to insert messages into My Documents.

  If I've understood your problem, try this. Create a shortcut to "soundrecorder /file outputfilename.wav" (without the quotes).

  Then start soundrecorder via this shortcut and start and stop the recording, it will save so (hopefully) as a wav as before.

  I think the problem is, W7 soundrecorder, by default, saves to wma.

  If not, try a 3rd free part program such as Audacity (which seems like overkill, but should do the job).

• PIX 506 - cannot connect to PDM more

  We have a PIX 506 in a test environment that has been configured in the past using Netscape. Now when we try to connect via https, Netscape says "unable to connect to the server (TCP error: i/o error). The PIX is version 6.1 (1) and PDM is 1.0 (2). I can connect via telnet and change the configuration, but I was not able to get the connection Internet work anymore.

  I captured the connection with ethereal and I see 3 packets, the connection, then the client sends a SSLv2 Client Hello, then the PIX closes the connection. When I dump the telnet configuration, I get:

  where clientname is defined above in the name and the entries of "place of pdm.

  The PDM installation guide has a troubleshooting section, and it says to make sure the clock is set to UTC. "show clock" indicates the time and date, but no area is listed.

  You have changed the IP address on the PIX interface at some point? If so, try to regenerate public/private key pairs. Fox

  I found the problem. I opened 'File' then saw 'save as template' grayed. Having not worked with models, I didn't know this isn't how it's done.

  What I should have done was file > save as > then clicked the drop-down 'Save as template' menu option. It was a simple mistake. Thanks to you all.

  I guess the description can have (at most) only substrings target, in other words, you can't have a line like this:

  You could do a self-join instead of GROUP BY, but I suspect it will be much less effective.  You can use FULL OUTER JOIN, since you do not know what r_types was that r_nums.

  There was an article about a similar problem in Oracle Magazine recently:

  See the section on the 'grouping beaches '. They needed a total cumulative who started once the total reaches a certain amount.

  You need a total cumulative which starts again when the date changes to group and the dates of beginning and end of each group must be determined dynamically.

  This can be done with the analytical functions.

  I think that what you describe is normal operation of the console reading in Windows 7, except that it is only sometimes the faders move together, rather than always.

  I also think that Emmrecs is right. Go Win7 Panel and select the "Recording" tab, then right-click on an empty space on the tab. You should look for what is called "Stereo Mix" or "what you hear".

  If you see that a listed Microphone and no option to activate disconnected or disabled devices, you will need to go get a third-party tool.

  As I say, I use Total Recorder. It has been around for years and works the way you want with earlier versions of the hearing. There are other applications that use others.

  All your problems are with Windows 7, I'm afraid.
