  I also tried to disable antivirus and uninstall Flash player.

  That was not smart! I'm afraid you will have to start over and reinstall Windows properly after reformatting of drives with a full format. Installation of systems is specifically related to a specific drive and partition and swapping controllers or change their mode of command affects sector mapping, and the unique ID associated with Windows specific tips for safety and startup. Those have definitely changed and now Win cannot access some of this, especially invisible sectors and the remains of your system previous page file. To start, due to this inherent behavior of Windows, a lot of your permissions of files and the properties are FUBARd. So, you are inevitably bound to run into a lot more of these problems also with non-Adobe products. You can of course spend an afternoon trying to sort it manually by changing the file permissions and setting of the inaccessible areas, but you might get faster results in just reformat everything and install win from scratch...

  I can't reinstall CS3 after losing it re-loading Windows.  The error message tells me to first uninstall CS3, but because it is not currently installed, I can do that.  I tried to download and install the Adobe cleaning tool, but does not install either my security keeps telling me that the Publisher is unknown and could be harmful.  I have a new system with XP and Win 7 OSs on a partitioned hard drive.  I want to reinstall XP, Windows 7 makes me all kinds of problems.  (Adobe support is not available for this problem on CS3).  Any suggestions?

  The installation program downloaded was probably also an .exe file, but the file name begins with ADBE followed by other letters as dsignate the pagackage and the language and the end and more probably with _WWE.exe. This is a self-extracting compressed file that must be run first, and then run the installer from the extracted package. It is possible that the Adobe or Adobe 1 disk F: folder is root for the iinstaller excerpt, then take a look at those for the setup.exe file.

  Read the instructions on the page VERY CAREFULLY. You can install the trial version and enter your serial number to convert it into a full version. If you do not know your serial number Let's hope you had the good sense to register the license with Adobe, you can log in to your Adobe account and find it (which would also you tell what version you have purchased).

  with a subscription to cc you are allowed installation on an unlimited number of computers.

  However, you can only sign on, at most, two computers at the time and you must be logged in opening programs cc.  already open programs seem to work perfectly, even on a 3rd computer but I have not tested who carefully and I rarely do it (by mistake).

  CS3 has worked well for me until I did some major updates of Windows (mainly for MS Office 2007) 04/29/09.  Premiere Pro gave me the "Sorry, a mistake has occurred which requires the creation of be stopped. We will try to save your current project"error.  And After Effects would not load (but show up in the Task Manager).

  Then I updated my card graphics and motherboard.  Then, I tried all tips Adobe licensing troubleshooting and other suggestions from anywhere on the web.  Now I get the beautifulisor may not use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contact your administrator or adobe customer support for assistance. "Each program gives this error.  If I don't get the error (as in the bridge), Windows tells me that the program crashed after it closed.

  I also uninstalled a whole bunch of programs (2 games, various converters and other junk).  I tell myself that I will reinstall the Pack CS3 together ON Windows updates and uninstalled programs.  First, however, I'm going to record important things like PS brushes and actions.

  First, Congrats on being one of the few people who has actually back up their data and did not learn to do it the hard way.

  Secondly, I think that you can move it on the forums first or AfterEffects where you will find perhaps more people who saw the same thing.
