  I own design premium CS3 and CS4 production premium. I recently deleted CS3 to save disk space. Today, I realized that my CS4 included not Dreamweaver. So I downloaded and installed Dreamweaver CS3 from the Adobe download page. However when I run the program wonder my serial number. I enter my serial number for CS3, but I get a message saying "the serial number you entered is not valid." I type the number exactly as it comes in print on my installation disc box I can say. I triple checked the number. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can install the program correctly?

  Maybe this can help someone else...  I had to simply properly uninstall CS3 and reinstall again after that.  I think what he sort!  I also remember having a similar problem with the Mac at work a couple of years back.  Not sure if it is the same for CS5/CS6.  Here is a link on how to properly uninstall CS3 on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS.  I'm on OS X 10.9.2 but it works beautifully.  Remove from Creative Suite 3 and CS3 products

  Seems that the solution was:

  1 - Open Device manager and view the hidden devices.
  2. then go into not connectable & play devices and manually delete all the remainers network software & security uninstalled (process antivirus, firewall, monitor).
  3. several reboots were required in order to know if the garbage problem has been removed.
