  If you're talking about the black box with the white line in the middle with the x, it's your sound control and the x means that it has been muted.  You should find the button mute and press it.  This should make them disappear.

  Folder options / tab / files and folders / uncheck
  "Always show icons, never thumbnails" / apply / OK.

• Strange image on Mac Shutdown

  Hello!

  Not a lot of inconvenience, but still - when I stopped my mac mini I get strange image on screen.

  Today it is the login screen, a few days ago, it was the image of Safari with full screen youtube video.

  The image is not active, so no response from the mouse or the keyboard. Then, while mac stops.

  Yet once, it is not annoying, but it's quite annoying.

• Problem strange Contact ringtone after update

  No matter how I set my settings when I get a call from a person (someone) in my contact list , I get a strange ring that is not yet listed as a ringer option. It's the kind of boop boop boop ringtone that is too quiet and it's really annoying. If someone calls, which isn't in my contact list, it sounds with the normal ring, that I have set myself .

  I tried:

  Change the ringtone under setting > Sound > ringtone

  Change the ringtone for a contact under Edit > add Info > ringtone and if it is set to 'No specified ring' or I actually choose a ringtone is still the boop boop boop ringtone.

  I cleaned the database of all the contacts folder and restored from Gmail.

  I have not installed custom ringtones.

  I googled this problem and saw that a few other people have had this problem with the ringtone problem strange boop boop boop but the only solution they offered was a hard reset, which I prefer not to do. A hard reset is similar to reload your operating system on your computer just to solve a little problem. I've been in it for 30 years and rarely use a reformatting/reload.

  There must be a more elegant solution to this problem for all reset. It would take me a week to get everything back to the top of the way I like it!

  Forgot Droid had a safe mode! Boot in SafeMode returned the correct tone. Using titanium backup, I froze the user applications installed one time until I found the culprit. It turned out to be Norton. Deleted the data for this app, restarted and now everything is back to normal!

  The option of 'Freeze' Titanium is great! Beats the heck out of uninstalling, then reinstalling applications.

  For some reason, some images are not appear on facebook since I updated to the latest version of Firefox. It's weird because say for example, a band I liked on facebook picture messages, it will appear in my news feed. However when my friends post photos, nothing appears. Just a white box. I checked in the viewpage tab, nothing is blocked. I deleted all cache, cookies, etc., but the problem persists. Even tried disabling all my addons but get the same result. Firefox running 10.0.2

• Problem strange RAW corruption on master + backup hard drive

  I am a professional photographer and I have a problem of confusion with corrupted pictures. Although this technique is probably not Lightroom problem, I cannot think of a better place to ask and part of the issue is related to managing files in Lightroom. The problem coincided with the release of Lightroom 2015 CC-1, but I can't tell if it's somehow connected.

  In short, a month after the download and processing a large amount of RAW CR2 photos, many of them have corrupted. I only learned this yesterday when I tried to export.

  The photo is not mine, but the problem is similar. Part of the photo seems normal, and the part is destroyed. Ratio varies.

  I performed following diagnosis:

  • CheckDisk from the Windows Explorer, including a review of surface - no problems found
  • inspecting SMART disk information (via Crystal disk Info) hard - the player gets in the 'good', without the obviously alarming parameter (although I'm no expert)
  • checked the RAM with memtest86 - no error
  • Rootkit and AVG scan antivirus - nothing found
  • Explore and Lightroom can normally handle files (copy, read, even develop), it's just that they are corrupt

  Most important question first: does anyone know what can cause this kind of corruption and avoid the detection of all tests mentioned above? What to do about it?

  OK, I did a catalog in InDesign and there say, an orange border. I imported an image to the layer on the orange border and it has a clear background. In photoshop, it has no background and is simply the black outline.   You are more or less correct. When you use the MPE material, you enable (and there is no way to selectively disable) treatment of color/light linear. When you have a not-so-clean key, as you mentioned, the partially transparent alpha is composed differently in the context that if you were to use the default colors in software mode MPE treatment. You can see other examples that work in fighting equipment MPE, Episode 2: Chunky blurs and curved opacity and EMT + GPU.

• Problem with image rollover in div

  I want to create a rollover image 90 x 90 pxl pxl and put it inside a div 90 x 90 pxl pxl.

• Problems with image capture.

  Anyone has this problem. When I connect my iPhone 5 to my macbook and use Image Capture to transfer photos image capture will sometimes see not all the photos. Ex I have 25Photos on the phone, but only sees the image capture 20. The other 5 are displayed.

  Applications have problems to load media files (pictures and videos). After a while, network errors occur und sites can no longer be reached.

  I have a similar problem, but only when I am connected to my Wifi extender (via the Powerline) devolo. As soon as I connect to my router directly, the problem disappeared.

  In my view, the problem is caused because recent versions of IoS are more compatible with the Devolo WiFi extender.

• Problems reading images and sounds DVD satellite A110-276

  A couple of months my Equium A110-276 has stopped playing DVD correctly.

  The sounds and images on the DVD are slow, sometimes jump and are generally not synchronized.
