  iMessage used to sync between my iPhone and my computers very well. I was also able to answer incoming calls on my iPhone with computers. It seems that, just at the time I upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan (or maybe iOS 9.1) synchronization no longer works. I tried pretty much everything I read on the forums, but nothing works. When I go into SETTINGS, MESSAGES and TRANSMISSION of MESSAGE TEXT on my iPhone and select the Mac Mini or MacBook Air, it will activate the program MESSAGES on the computer, but it won't send a code.

  On your Mac, open System Preferences > iCloud. Clear the Contacts check box, then select re.

  On your iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud. Disable the Contacts then turn it back on.

  When the synchronization process hangs at step 7, it is usually indicative of a problem with what is called the "iPod Photo Cache". It is a folder that contains the converted versions of the images that are be synchronized with the device in question, whether an iPad, iPod or iPhone. Lets remove this folder so that it can be regenerated and will not result in the loss of any data.

  I just bought a song on Itunes store on my phone, went to my computer 10 victory, saw that it appeared in my purchases, added a couple of playlists and sitting while synchronize. When I looked at the list of reading later, disconnected from the computer, or connected, it wasn't there. Resynced with the same result. Looked at the phone under devices while that plugged into the computer and it was there, in the playlists and purchases. Unplugged the phone and is not there anywhere. Tried to restart the phone, everything is up-to-date. Any ideas on what to do?

  While I have you here, I noticed that some time back after connecting the phone to my computer and watching a playlist under device that some songs have been grayed out with a circle broken at the far left. If I go to info and look at the status it says pending. What do you expect? These songs, unlike the one above, show in my playlists and play very well. Wait the second may come?

  I have been using Itunes since it was released for Windows with no real problems other than the operator error, but lately (since Itunes 11 update) it didn't for me regarding the characteristics and technical, it was not as to the height. I spend MUCH more time looking for here and also the solutions to the problem.

  The following steps can help with the erratic behavior of synchronization. They assume that all the content you want on the device in your lending library for the restoration. If not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything off of the camera, if you have not already.

  1. Backup device.
  2. Restoration as a new device.
  3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  Use a backup encrypted if you want to keep passwords, wi - fi settings, history and health web data as appropriate.

  If you updated / upgrade every time new Apple software have been revised, you would probably avoid many of your questions.  You would replace it with several small updates / upgrade for a huge.

  So that's my advice for the future.  One thing you can also do right now is to check the settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (under storage) and make sure that you have absolutely no less than 10% of the total free storage of your device.
