Problem: the file Movie Maker-exporter

First of all, I tried to build my movie on an old Windows XP machine, so everything was fine, but as he cannot export in HD, I installed a plugin, it can export in HD 720 p & 1080 p. So, I tried to export in 720 p and he was stuck at 0%, and the time counter kept growing, is 5000 minutes remaining and then 30000 minutes remaining, so, I cancelled it. I tried on another computer with Live Movie Maker, it keep saying that he "corrupted, so I installed MM2.6 and I checked that there are no missing file, then I exported with him.» The first of 3% were fine, but then I get an error message saying that perhaps there is not enough free space, or it might be missing files. No matter what I try, it always gives me this message. How can I fix it?

  • MS Movie Maker exports the Codec error on me and now does not work!

My Vista's Home Premium Service Pack 1

I was downloading MP4 fortunately making movies with MS Movie Maker then pvooop! MSMM no longer works.
I just downloaded the WMM 2.6 and that crashes now in the same way.  WHY?

When I try an import with the ASUS media and go to the folder that contains these files .mswmm files are not yet recognised by the Vista Movie Maker as being multimedia files, to see I choose all files. When I try to open them up to this moment there, I get the following error message:

The file C:\Users\Don and Kim\Videos\Africa video Project\Drafts\Welcome Home\Clip 01_1\WH than Clip1.MSWMM cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file.

I tried to find the codecs but was put off by the fact that they were not genuine Microsoft and do not want to download something that will just make things worse.  Why should I have to download the risky codecs when I'm a real MS client?

This happens to many people. Is there a bug in time in this SW?

    Hello

You try to read the MSWMM file?

A .mswmm file is not a movie... it's a project file. If you double click the .mswmm file it can open Movie Maker, but unless you have imported all the sources files it will not be usable.

  • Problem with Windows Movie Maker 2.6 Re: Save movie file

I get the classic "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, the location of the backup is still available... "Message ETC, but I have a few additional details that I hope will help someone diagnose what might be wrong:

    * In fact, when I import video files (imports are in WMV format - I have converted to WMV using iOrgSoft Video Converter), he split the file into several clips of different lengths to seemingly without rhyme or reason (done on my old computer with a different version of WMM too).

Going to the statements in the following format:

    FileName_001 FileName_002 FileName_003 FileName_004... etc.

Then, I divided the clips if necessary to isolate the parts I want to drag them to the timeline.

Anyway, through experimentation I found that for each file, I can use all the clips, it was automatically divided in to the last, where I can only use a certain small part of it (the last of them is usually the largest by far) and have it save in a movie file.

So FileName_001, FileName_002, and FileName_003 will all work and save to a movie file in their entirety, and I can use a smaller portion of the FileName_004 and have it record as well. But if I spent a certain point in this last clip (FileName_004), it will not save.

So let's just say that the 8 seconds of FileName_004 can be saved in a movie file. If I try just to save 2 seconds of a value of the element after only the second 8 FileName_004 brand, it will trigger the "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. I too Movie Maker 2.6 running in Windows 7 (64-bit), and sometimes she would not publish the movie. So today after reading things here, I did some research and found this page:

I removed the Movie Maker 2.6 from my PC and then downloaded and installed Movie Maker 6.0. I opened the last project of 2.6 MM that would not publish the movie in my new 6.0 and clicked on _Publish to this computer_. And it worked. So I tried a larger project which had also failed to publish the movie and it worked again, producing a 40 MB .wmv file.
So it seems under MovIe Maker 6.0, designed for Vista, works fine under Windows 7, at least if you download the file shown to Movie Maker Blog of Blaine (Blaine Hat!).
BTW, .wmv files, I brought in Movie Maker have been converted to .flv files using a free Quick Media Converter HD download, that I found at cnet.com. I highly recommend it (and its creator, I sent money PayPal).
  • Why can't I combine files movie maker?

I can't cut out of the song and played it on a video clip where the song was actually shortened. I want to do I don't want to hear the audience in the video that's why I want to create my own version of the song that was cut short. However I'm unable to do so. So what I did is to break down the song and the video into pieces and put them together one, so when you play, it will sound like the song lacked real, without hearing the audio from the video (song and the public). When I try to combine, it says the format is not supported. How is it? Your Movie Maker are files can't stand each other? Say, we want to create a film and of course we have different scenes, add score score / music on each, but we will not be able to do because the files in windows movie maker does not support its own format. How can he be the best movie maker so far? It was version 2011 for this kind of thing should never be a problem at all? I can't do what I want with this movie maker, or otherwise, there is another way to have done, and where there is, would you mind to teach me how. ? Please, this is one of my dreams and I do it myself, I want to explore what this software could do for me and I know I can do a lot of it. Thank you!

    Hi Michaelle1,

    ·          You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

    ·          Do you have any third party media player and codec installed on your computer?

Temporarily uninstall them if you have any third-party media player installed on your computer and check if you are able to import files video .mov in Windows Movie Maker.

Secondly, if you have any third-party codec player installed temporarily uninstall them and check.

To uninstall codec and third-party multimedia player, you can use the Windows Cleanup utility.

Download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility from this link:

Description of the Windows Installer Cleanup utility

Now, run the utility ("' start > all programs > Windows Installer Cleanup" "). In the list of programs displayed in the cleanup, select programs, and then click on remove. Quit out of cleaning.

Or uninstall programs feature & programs in Control Panel.

The short answer is: Windows Movie Maker does NOT support the MPG4.
Google for a free video converter and change, preference, wmv format.

  • When you click on some of the files they make copies of themselves

I had 20-30 files of text on my desk that I wanted to delete, but whenever I click on them, copies appear.  This happened to me once before with a set of worksheets, I tried to remove.  Spreadsheets were contained in a folder and I was able to delete the entire folder and eliminate the problem.  This time, the files are on the desk, and I don't know how to get rid of them.  I tried to make a new folder to move in but several copies appear on the desktop.  System Restore has not changed anything.  How can I stop this?

    Thank you.

The Office has a record as well.

Try right-clicking on the button start and open or explore users.

Explorer opens to the section where the user profile folders.

If you drill through them, you will eventually find a folder for the office and the files that you see on the desktop appears.

So try to delete at this point or a method "copy / paste" to relocate where they can be more accessiable for you.
