problem: the NAME Web site sits on the tabs, cannot select the tabs?

Hello, I have this problem.

NAME of the site is on the top tabs, which means that I do not see some tabs, because the text is the way the. -This site ' ask a Question '. Firefox Help"covers the tabs.

Also, I can't click on the tabs unless I click at the bottom of this one. That means that in most cases, I can not change the tabs unless I find the 1 mm space that accepts my click. If I click in the middle of the tab, nothing happens.

Here is a picture of my problem.

https://picasaweb.Google.com/110887846690971472921/FirefoxProblem

as you can see, it is difficult to read the name of the site is very difficult to read, and tabs can be read as well.

Please recommend a solution, I've been using Chrome because of this problem.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

    Some things you can try:

You can have old certificates root on your computer.  Try to update your root certificates from the link provided in the paragraph "Root Update Package (intended for Windows XP only)" in the following article:

"Members of the certificate program root Windows.

Depending on which version of Internet Explorer and Service Pack level of your machine, one of the following articles might help you:

It is also possible that indeed, you will be redirected to a false site.  Check your file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts ensure that there is not a bogus entry for your hotmail login.  Generally, the only line that is required in this file does not begin with a character ' # ' is ' 127.0.0.1 localhost '.

  • EA4500: There is a problem with this Web site's secure certificate.

When I navigate to the Web page of the router, I get a message that "there is a problem with this Web site's secure certificate."

    I'm using https.

Does this mean that https does not work on the EA4500?

N °, this means that the browser does not trust the certificate sent by the router. The connection is always encrypted.

  • Suddenly, I'm a problem for any Web site. It prints tiny portions of the Web site on several pages. It is a new problem.

He is a recent problem, when printing from a Web site in Firefox (only on my desktop with Windows 7 Machine not my laptop using the same printers) the problem is independent of the printer that I use. There is a small amount of information on each page spread over several pages. There is no problem at all when printing my regular programs only from a site of Fire Fox. This is not the case when printing from Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  • E-mail of the problem of a Web site

When I tried clicking on the email address on a Web site (now my friend tried it on his PC and it worked fine) I get a box to read "There are no associated messaging program to perform the requested action or if it is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel" I just don't understand. No computer savvy of course. It is also a new system, I had just installed (windows 7) has never had before.

    Hi David,

To click on links in e-mail, you must install an e-mail program.  You can take your pick from the many great programs.  Some of the most popular are:
    • Microsoft Outlook (part of Microsoft Office)
    • Windows Mail 2012 (part of the free Windows Essentials package)
    • Mozilla Thunderbird (also free)
  • I have problems to access Web sites

Having problems connecting to some Web sites. When I now try and access it I just get a message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Never had problems before, and he seems to be the same thing with ALL the pc's on my network. If I connect with the same laptop but via a different ISP or on another network I can access the site, so I don't think it's my phone.

I tried to type in ipconfig/flushdns at the cmd prompt.

When I pressed the space bar it just cam this
"The requested operation requires a rise."
    I am running windows Vista
Also when I ran a "ipconfig/displaydns" command I saw one of the websites listed and one was wearing the website name with "isdownerblocked.com".
What this means, or is it any help to solve the problem?

I started using Firefox initially because of problems with IE that are now corrected. Fire Fox 3xxx was big then 4 came out worked ok until the first update, then pages will load completely, wheel just keeps spinning 5 was the same thing and 6 is the same. one solution is to disable Java, which makes the sites load but then other sites requires Java, can't keep turning on/off.
Why so many people are add on is not compatible? Correct the problem of loading or I'll have to stop using Firefox and I like when working properly. Perfectly updated for Windows XP all add on s are up to date. There are several site to the problem sometimes, they do very well, but most of the time that they are not Richard

I got exactly the same problem with FF6 so far. Drove me crazy. Disable the web shield in my AVG antivirus solved the problem. Looks like it has something to do with Google of JS in some pages. Filming of Javascript in Firefox also helps, but is not a solution.

I already contacted AVG support. Don't know who is more responsible for this well, Firefox and it's the newest upcoming version every two months or Google/AVG because they just can't keep up with Firefox so quickly so often change =)

  • What is the problem with my Web site?

OK I watched this video on adobe tv its called the basic layout, navigation in dreamweaver part 15 and I did excatly what I had to do, but when I downloaded my site it does not resemble its supposed too. When I saw in dreamweaver it works perfectly, but now that its on the web, it looks different a few words do not show in the carousel div, I image gallery that does not work well, but everything is ok the video box I place the works and links, it's just these two things bascially. I don't know what wrong Please HELP!

    Ah, your server is case-sensitive.

The link in your page for the csscarousel.css file needs to be changed

    CSS/csscarousel. CSS

    TO

    CSS/csscarousel.css

Check all your links to make sure they all have the correct case. If you have something that connects the "SpryAssets" folder, but you have defined it as "spryassets" in the link, they don't read because of your server settings.

  • Whenever I go to a site I get an error and the message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server. I have no problem to access Web sites in Internet Explorer.

This happened not long ago and used a restore point from an earlier date that solved the problem. That did not work this time.

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.
