Problem using the "Preview" in the photo gallery

When I go to the pictures folder > to a file, the thumbnails are in color. When I right click on an image and choose "opening" of the image appears in the Gallery of photos in black and white even if it's a colorful picture. Can someone please tell me what is the problem and how to fix. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate it. I tried that nite last 'Fix - it' on mine, and then this morning, after your message. Still no go. Anyone has any thoughts or ideas? Thank you. Added: Also noticed that the screen saver (the one that looks like the Aurora that appears when a task runs long) is as black and white and only concerns as 3/4 of the screen as a "Preview" of the image.

  • problem uploading photos in the photo gallery on facebook.

I can't have my photos on the Gallery of photos posted on facebook.

    Hello

    ·         What happens when you download photos in the photo gallery on facbook?

    ·         You get an error?

    ·         What browser do you use?

If you are using Internet Explorer, check if you can download when non - Add ons mode.

    (a) click Start and type Internet Explorer in the box to start the search.

    (b) click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Internet Explorer opens without Add-ons, toolbars, or plug-ins.

    (c) test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.

If no error occurs, the problem is caused by one of the Add-ons that typically load with Internet Explorer.

Follow option 2 under method 3 in the link below: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213

  • How to change the template used in the photo gallery module

I noticed the photo galleries are rendered as an HTML table and I would like to make a small change to the way in which the Gallery is rendered on the page.

Basically, I want to just wrap a DIV around the < img > tag so that I can control the appearance of the image through my own CSS.

In my view, there is the possibility to change the Module Templates, but the photo gallery module is not listed there.

Where can I get the model used for a photo gallery?

Otherwise, I'll need display the images myself using a flow XML and jQuery, but I prefer to use the modules of British Colombia when I can.

    Hi David,

There is no model for the photo galleries. But if you use Firebug you can find the css values and add your own modification by adding CSS by the switch as well as the current gallery to your own page and use them! Value to write to the css gallery.

  • OfficeJet 5740: using the photo tray

Cannot get the printer to use the photo with photo tray 4 tray x 6.  But I did specify in setings to use the photo tray.  My new 5741 DID see and recognize the tray and paper but invariably printed on paper 8 x 10.  ?????  using windows 8.1 and photo gallery.

Welcome to the HP community @fredstir,

I read your post on your Officejet 5740 do not print to the photo thew tray and wanted to meet you with my suggestions. If you have not tried to uninstall the printer software, restart the PC and then reinstall the printer once again, try it. You can run the Installation Wizard for Windows HP printer to find and install the printer for you.

Also see this link and try the following steps: HP ENVY, printers Officejet - display of the 'Photo Tray problem' error

Let me know what happens when you try to print to the photo tray afterwards. Try another program to see if that makes a difference.

Perform the control and analysis of file system (CFS) auditor if this solves the problem. SFC toolscans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

  • Photo Gallery can't open this picture. The file format is not supported or you do not have the latest updates to the photo gallery?

I received an email with pictures and the bos appeared Photo Gallery can't open this picture.  The file format is not supported or you do not have the latest updates to the photo gallery.  I am running Vista on a Toshiba laptop that I bought in July 2009.  What I can do to update the Photo Gallery or something else to see the pictures.  I tried to download Stuffit Expander, but which did not help.

    Hello
Thank you for using the Microsoft Vista answers Forum.

What is the file format of the images?

All the pictures have the same symptoms?

Disable the antivirus software on your computer and check if it works very well.

Make sure you have all updates for your version of Vista.

You can also try the new Windows Live Photo Gallery, as it has more features and should solve your problem.

  • file does not open in the photo gallery

Photo Gallery will not open a file with. Extension of THU.  Don't know where that. Extension of THU came.  What can I do to fix the file to open in the photo gallery?

It may or may not be possible to do it since THU files are usually associated to the command and Conquer Renegade and not a type of image file.  The ' * .thu ' files are also thumbnails of images used in the origins of the family.  You should be able to see these files with one of these programs (according to them created).

Try simply by changing the type of file in JPG format and see if it works (although, if so, it may show a very tiny picture).  Don't forget to change if the time where the fact so that it works with any program it is really associated with (if you have it).

Go to start / Default programs / associate a file or Protocol with a program and a scroll to the game and reset the default value to the photo gallery (you will probably have to go) but that can get dirty any program, they are really associated if you use so change it back it when done if it was associated with another program validates.

If this does not work, I know no conversion program for this file type.

For any other questions on this, post photos and videos Forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistapictures/threads , where experts in image files will be happy to help you.

  • Why cant I see each photo in my library of images, as I can see the in the photo gallery?

Is there a setting that I can see what each individual photo is before you open it. As I can see them in the photo gallery. This becomes a problem because when I want to upload a photo, I can't tell exactly what image he is until I open it, but as you know when you upload a photo once you open it it downloads automatically. As I said I can see them in the photo gallery, but I am not able to upload photos. Whenever I have download it takes me to my library of images.

I already live 2012 photo gallery. I have no problem to see them that way. My problem is when I am on a site and you want to upload a photo, it is the case for all the sites I tried, when I click on download need me in my photo library. Whoever you acceding from the Start button in previous versions of windows. That's where I do not see what image I choose until I open it, but once I open it it then download it immediately. The Gallery of live photos of 2012 is supposed to be my Gallery by default photo, but when downloading it will never live photos, but directly to the library of photos under documents. Is there a setting that I can change so it will not go there, or there at - it a way to open all those in this library, so they can be seen?

Photo Gallery doesn't have an option to add a
text on the face of a photo.

You can add text with Microsoft Paint:

And... I agree with sohail khan... Picasa is a very
    useful application:

The free Picasa software has several options for adding
    text of photos.

After you download and install Picasa...
