Problem - Windows 8 and Matshita DVD-RAM UJ8C2 with touch ideapad P400

Hello

I have a touch ideapad P400. I have Windows 8 and a drive Matshita DVD-RAM UJ8C2. The drive is not showing in my computer and do not read any disc I put in. In the devicemanager, I get an error code 19. "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) ». I've updated the drivers. Re-installed drivers. Restart the computer. Removed and re-installed the drive. None of this has worked. Know what to do now?

If you installed the latest version of the attempt of drivers gear once again, uninstalling the drive through device and then Manager reinstall the drive.

If still a problem, uninstall the drivers of material from "Uninstall a program", and then restart the computer.

    Hi guys / girls

Can't use my cdrom drive to look at records on CD.
I goto Device Manager and the drive has a triangle explanation next to it.
Even its not listed in desktop etc.  IE can not access - does not appear.
laptop Sony vaio here - very annoying. Any help would be great.
Cannot find an updated driver to make this - thank you.

    Thanks a lot for this!

I tried to find a solution for the error 19 on my Sony Vaio computer for ages! Said that the driver does not work correctly and to update the driver. No updates found. No drivers on the Sony Web site. Drivers on other sites for a price. Tried to uninstall and reboot but no luck.

Tried this fix with skepticism, but it worked!

    Thank you.

  • Problems audio cd copy, Matshita dvd - ram, uj8a0asw

    Hi all
My chorus gave a concert, and I said I could make copies of the recording the event. Now, I bought a big bunch of tdk cd - r discs and cd-driver does not accept the empty disc. I checked the date of driver and it says it's from 2006-06-21, which seems a bit old. However, a quick google makes me think that's kind of standard... ? I have an Asus n53sv notebook, win 7 home 64. The original cd works fine. I used Ashampoo burning studio 6 free software.

I had thoughts happy I would do that by the weekend, but it does not of course seems like that for the moment... If anyone has a tip for what could be the problem, I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks in advance!
    Anna

Thanks for a very comprehensive answer!
I have found a workaround, trying other software... Simple as that, but took his time! I tried Win Media player, but could not figure out how to copy without ripping first of all, I don't want to. I found another free software that burns an image, then I could those empty.

The Device Manager said no problems with the hardware, it's just that my software - for whatever reason - do not accept empty CD. Works fine now :)

  • supports matshita dvd - ram uj-850 s NOT recognized, Mats_run.dvd cancel installation of PowerShell

Updates in security plague devices on my Toshiba Satellite? Matshita dvd - ram uj-850 s can notrecognize the media .  I tried to run Mats_run.dvd.exe and it cancels the installation of PowerShell and said run again later.  I checked the registry for PowerShell and he's not here.

Updates are downloaded automatically but are installed manually. Microsoft.NET Framework 3.0 is installed.  There are 2 hard drives usb, e and h. The internal hard drive is c and the dvd drive is d.

I downloaded PowerShell for English x 86, and it also cancels the installation.  This facility will write on e drive unless the e reader is currently offline.  It seems to me that installation should go in one of the program files. No matter what.

I heard Japanese factories to boost productivity by having models of foremen (also known under the name of straw bosses) in the break for whacking room. MicroSoft is expected to provide a game that allows you to the storm of MicroSoft when you feel frustrated. Laugh for everyone.

I tried the registry filter entries delete and it does not correct.

The drive reads some DVD.  The one I use is readable on other computers and was burned at the origin of it. This drive is able to read the DVD right here.

DVD with files on them are not read.

I cleaned the drive with a DVD-rom cleaner.

Audio_TS, Video_TS structure is recognized on a DVD so that the reader is able to read the DVD.  It seems to be a Windows problem.

    Combustion works very well.

    Hey, Arch.

I suggest uninstalling the drive in Device Manager and restart the computer.

If this does not help, you can try to uninstall all your computer disc burning software, if you have the means to reinstall, and then reinstall the drive.

The Powershell do not install cannot be bound.

I suggest to run a full system scan after you have updated the antivirus definitions.

  • Matshita DVD RAM UJ850s ATA optical drive will not read burned media, running Vista

    * original title - CD/DVD unit read not "burned" cd *.

Hi, there are about 6 weeks, I had to do a recovery because a virus in my PC, the problem is that now the optical unit reads no CD, it reads 'original' CD, DVD (original and burned) but not burned CD specially those who have programs on them, could be a driver problem, but so far I have not been able to solve the problem , and I m not sure the original driver are in Sony's site, or any other Web site.

PS the thing Burns CD and they can be read after that that they were "closed".

I have a VAIO VGN-N330FH, running Vista Home Basic 32 bit (Spanish), the model is a Matshita DVD RAM UJ850s ATA Device.

    Hello

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    ===========================================

This troubleshooting could not help if there is alignment and/or wear issues however it
    a shot.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    Hi Delphine,.

Try to remove the entry from Pfc that relates to the pfc.sys.

To remove Pfc input double click LowerFilters and under value data, remove Pfc > OK

Create a system restore point beforehand and restart the computer after.

  • Driver Matshita DVD Ram UJ8B0AW

My machine: ASUS A43S i5 (bought in August 2012)
Original OS: Windows 7 (now upgraded to Windows 8)
    Problem:
    (1) after upgrading my DVD does not work
    (2) is unable to read any kind of CD/DVD software or audio videos
    (3) cannot even see the device in Windows Explorer
    (4) if I insert a disc in the DVD it drive will only spin for a few seconds and stop
    (5) ran all the tests available diagnostic built inside Windows 8 as reinstall, hardware test, trouble shoot, fix auto, bah bah bah. Tried every thing as available as possible AND MY PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED. I tried everything already!

He said only "Matshita DVD Ram UJ8B0AW has a driver problem" and that it has NOT been FIXED.

I downloaded the latest driver from ASUS and Matshita and reinstalled manually and it is still DO NOT SET

Even though I can start from ground zero and reinstall using F12 initially upwards and insert a window 7 or 8 disk, I fear my DVD will not move and cannot reinstall Windows no matter what.

    What can I do?

Try to remove the GEARAspiWDM entry.

To remove the GEARAspiWDM entry double-click UpperFilters and, under value data, delete GEARAspiWDM > OK

Create a system restore point beforehand and restart the computer after.

However, if you have an application that uses the GEARAspiWDM, like iTunes, just install the latest version of hardware drivers (4.020.5) and that no changes to the registry:

    http://www.GearSoftware.com/support/drivers.php

Updated speed drivers should also correct the mistake.

The operating system does not detect the Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA device on my Toshiba Satellite. I tried Microsoft Auto difficulty and it didn't fix it. The CD player worked last week when I installed ITunes software. Now, the driver cannot be detected. Known corrections or suggestions?

You must uninstall, then reboot and let the program installation is the device when it restarts. If the correct drivers are found, it will install. In case of failure, it's probably because Search Setup default is files of the user and not the C:\windows\inf or directories c:\windows\system32\drivers\, which you can specify by choosing to install from a list or specific location, and then by typing or by going to the it. If this fails, check the bios settings.  But most likely your original driver was silently replaced, by a program system file or a third-party application. If need be, you can try a system restore to return the parameters of your system to a point in time where everything worked. I would try one more point to restore and not a newer version, preferably a restore point launched machine, not one caused by installing or removing a program or a driver.
