  Well, I used the information I got this forum to fill a drop in a repeatable subform with javascript (and it even works with FormCalc) problem solved. But now when I test the script in format acrobat (with calculations) the last item on my list does not seem to be working properly. They are scripted like that on the preOpen event.

  DropDownListName.additem ("item 1", "1.00");

  DropDownListName.additem ("item 2", "2.00");

  etc.,

  etc.

  They are all the same, and they all show during the test. But when I click on the last item, it automatically entered the first element on the form and for some reason that I don't know, when I click on the arrow to the bottom of the drop-down list once again, will be my listed items 1-6 and 1-6 new (Double listing the items). If I click it a third time he triple will list the elements... Weird! Maybe I'm just tired, but more probably think I do something wrong (again!) Anyone have any ideas?

  The second issue of additional items in the drop-down list is easily sorted by including a line in the preOpen to clear the list first.

  DropDownListName.clearItems ();

  This should go before the addItem script.

  This erases the existing list, before be filled again. You would tend to use addItems, where list items will change according to the previous intervention of the user with the form.

  Regarding the round total, you can do this with script (check "Round" in the help file), but it is not necessary.

  When you have the total selected object, just go to the object/field tab and click models. On the display tab, you can select a model of currency with the currency symbol, the 2 decimal and thousands separator (IF your item is a numeric field).

  PDF documents have no concept of "tables" as MS Word or MS Excel has. There is content that looks like a table.

  Acrobat JavaScript knows tables and form fields. So we could have a table in JavaScript and complete a series of fields that looks like a table. You can use JavaScript to find the table.

  JavaScript in Acrobat can accept user entries in the fields and pop-up windows.

  It is possible to solve theoretical equations the user if the good rating or coding is used.

  I'm reworking the script MultiPageImporter2.5 by Scott Zanelli; going to add new features.

  So far, I added a drop-down list so that the user could choose which pages to put a pdf/indd file: odd/even/as well.

  

  However, I encountered a strange problem: on Windows, it works as expected, but on Mac, nothing happens when I click on the shortcut menu. When I write a dialog box, I almost always use the automatic layout and never encountered such a problem before. But in this text the author uses a fixed position for the controls so I followed his style of coding:

  The drop-down list is visible both on Windows and Mac, but on a Mac, it is not clickable. What I am doing wrong?

  Another question: in the script, the author has created three pop-up windows. In the code, each popup has a different height (the last element of the array 'limits') - 60, 88, 33. Does make sense to make them different if on the screen they are exactly the same (I mean height).

  I think the easiest solution for me here is to rework the part fixed dialog for automatic layout.

  I don't think you're doing something wrong. If you change the vertical position of the popup to 90, the popup works if you click at the top, not if you click on the bottom.

The laptop to update Lightroom a dDreamweaver. To date, heard Photoshop and Bridge. Cam Raw with 9.4 still NO 9.5. Opening image of Lightroom in Camera Rw Raw said LR version ahead of Photoshop and raw Cam 9.5 update.  Prelude to a more wacky, also set effects to date on iMac, but not on the laptop. Any suggestions for a cure so I'm able to update applications to stay in harmony. Tried to uninstall bridge a resettlement but CamRaw stuck at 9.4. Thanks for your collective advice.

• Help adding textfield with drop-down list selects

  I have a PDF with a drop-down list field called "SoftwareList" with a default value of "Select the software" and a text field called 'SelectedSoftware '. You can freely type in the text field to communicate your needs, or choose the menu drop-down. I want to add in the text field, which is selected in the drop-down list each time. I had the following script to fix this as a custom text field calculation script:

  The problem I have is that it will continue to add to the text box with everything that was selected last in the drop-down list when you click on other fields in the form, such as check boxes. I added the following line, which helped, but it is still a click of the addition until it changes, duplicate the last pick:

  I would like to use the script validation custom from the drop-down list. You can use something like this:

  To ensure that the update as soon as a selection is made to check the option to validate the selected value immediately under properties of the menu drop down, tab Options.

• Check generate some Comp based on the drop-down list box and the selection list?

  I currently have a dropdown list with the three sizing options in it. Then I have two check boxes, one is ticked ideally would create the model to its normal size composition and if other is checked that it would reverse the widthxheight in the size of the composition. Then below that I have a "Generate" button, I want to be able to click and according to my selections, it creates the model.

  Looks like I need a kind of if then statement, but I'm having a hard time putting the two together. See below what I have so far.

  There may be missing parts, but I have it all working in a decibel pallate currently. I don't have functionality related to a button again.

  When I work with drop-down menus, I always liked to tie the data they represent (like the width and height of the model in this case) directly to the elements.

  I want a drop-down list that includes complete definitions for the user to watch but when they choose the item they want only the abbreviation indicating on the form. For example, in my items list is said 'Illinois', but when they select "Illinois" she fills the field with the bind value of 'IT '. Is this possible?

  I place a TextField on the top of the drop-down list and setting the rawValue selected the TextField... In the case of exit of the combo I hide list drop-down and display of the textfield object. Similarly, in the event you enter in the text field, I am displaying the drop-down list field and hide the text field.

  This way I can show 'IT' If you choose "Illinois" in the menu dropdown.

• Display the export value of the drop-down list instead of the element

  I'm showing the value to the export of a drop-down list instead of the selected option or the user selects BLACK, but the value of exports of BLK is actually displayed.  I can find many discussions on how to get the value of the exports and display it or use it to trigger another answer in another area and I can usually tweak my existing JavaScripts when I need something new, but I just can't wrap my head around this!

  This is my last attempt (failed)

  I've been doing this for a long time and have never heard of anyone who wants something like this, so it is interesting. Remove your current script and try the following script Format customized drop eyes:

  Custom drop-down list Format script

  Event.Value = event.target.getItemAt (event.target.currentValueIndices, true);

  This defines what is displayed in the drop-down list in the value of exports of the selected item. Select the 'Value selected to validate immediately' option to the drop-down list for smoother operation.

  I have several drop down from the fields list. An example would be the city. It allows a user to select a city. I want the form to be completely empty to start. Currently, when the form is initially pulled up, it shows the first value in the list. All my drop-down list fields exhibit the same behavior. Is it possible to be just empty instead?

  Can you describe what happens when you try to play these tracks?  Do you have an error message (If Yes, what does say)?  Are the visible but greyed out?  They were a symbol of an exclamation mark next to them?

  The problem is when I generate the XML of the form value labels are coming in instead of the text in the drop-down list.

  Pls help. How can I get the text of the value of the dropdown list selected in the XML file?

  Hello

  I would recommend going to the object > linking the palette and deselecting 'specify values ". In this way, the display values will be included in the XML, as the display value will be the same as the .rawValue from the drop-down list.

  However, this means that any script that references the drop down menus will use the values to display for the items and not the previous related values.
