System will be short-lived upward after Hybernation.

On my Vista Home Premium 64 my pc does not always have to wake up from hybernation. I move and click with the mouse, try ctrl-alt-del and nothing happens. I turned it off and then turn on and sometimes it works. Are there known issues with hybernation? If so, what can I do?

Try to burn a CD. The system will not recognize the blank disc or let me burn... says there is no disc inserted

    Hello

Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc? Restart the 1st and then try it.

    If no joy:

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and

    Hello SteveO_1968,

To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
    2. Press a key when you are prompted.
    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
    4. Click repair your computer.
    5. Click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    6. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.
    7. Type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

Note To start the computer from the Windows Vista DVD, the computer must be configured to start from the DVD drive. For more information on the configuration of the computer to start from the DVD drive, see the documentation provided with your computer or contact the computer manufacturer.

    Bootrec.exe options

The Bootrec.exe tool supports the following options. Use the option that suits your situation.

Note If rebuilding the BCD does not resolve the startup problem, you can export and delete the BCD, and then run this option again. In doing so, you ensure that the BCD is completely rebuilt. To do this, type the following commands at the command prompt Windows RE:

    • bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup
    • c:
    • Boot CD
    • BCD attrib s h - r
    • Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old
    • Bootrec /RebuildBcd

    / FixMbr

The /FixMbr option writes a MBR compatible Windows Vista on the system partition. This option does not overwrite the existing partition table. Use this option when you need to solve problems of corruption of MBR, or when you need to remove the non-standard code from the MBR.

    / FixBoot

The /FixBoot option writes a new boot sector on the system partition by using a boot sector that is compatible with Windows Vista. Use this option if one of the following conditions is met:

    • The boot sector has been replaced by a non-standard Windows Vista boot sector.
    • The boot sector is damaged.
    • An earlier Windows operating system has been installed after the installation of Windows Vista. In this scenario, the computer starts by using Windows NT Loader (NTLDR) instead of Windows Boot Manager (Bootmgr.exe).

    / ScanOs

The /ScanOs option scans all disks for installations that are compatible with Windows Vista. In addition, this option displays the entries that are currently not in the BCD store. Use this option when there are installations of Windows Vista which is not in the Boot Manager menu.

    / RebuildBcd

The /RebuildBcd option scans all disks for installations that are compatible with Windows Vista. In addition, this option allows you to select the facilities you want to add to the BCD store. Use this option when you need to completely rebuild the BCD.

My system tray icon settings are lost whenever I restart my laptop.

    1. Click Start , type regedit in the Search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click allow .

    2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

    3. In the Details pane, click the IconStreams registry entry.
    4. On the Edit menu, click delete , and then click Yes .
    5. In the Details pane, click the PastIconsStream registry entry.
    6. On the Edit menu, click delete , and then click Yes .
    7. Exit Registry Editor.
    8. Restart the Explorer.exe process. To do this, follow these steps:
      1. Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC.
      2. On the process in the Task Manager tab, click the process explorer.exe and then double click on end process .
      3. On the file menu, click new task (run) , type Explorer and click OK .
      4. Exit Task Manager.

The only option is either to have all the icons in the sawn system tray which takes 3\4 of my task bar or do them all hidden which is a pain in the neck because I have to open the "new taskbar" every time.

  • renderPDFForm question w/short-lived Orchestration

    Hello

I have problems with the renderPDFForm Service after changing my long lifetime of short-lived LiveCycle orchestration. The goal is to minimize I/O of the database and increase performance.

The process is called using SOAP from .NET. The type of document is transmitted with an XML to pre-populate in the new form. The interactive PDF filled then returned to .NET when the orchestration is complete.

The orchestration fails serving renderPDFForm with the following error:

2010-06-09 18:58:12, 577 ERROR [com.adobe.formServer.TemplateStream] ALC-FRM-001-006: URI not found: ALC-FRM-001-058: unable to retrieve the resource from the path of the repository. Component of authority recovered is 'null '. Component path retrieved is "/ Applications/Project/Form.pdf". Underlying exception is: ALC-REP-018-000: resource [urn: uuid:id:68cce441 - 897-4231-0ebe a-9acebdbca7cc] does not exist or you do not have sufficient rights to access it.

Do I have to grant additional rights to the user to make the service call so that they can use the renderPDFForm service? Which must be configured for each user? Is there a way to grant access to all Summoners as long-lived orchestration and be on my way?

    I put only 3 things:

Form: PDF file (which is stored on the repository of Adobe)

Form data: XML Document in the same format as the schema of the PDF to be retrieved from the repository.

Output: Type InteractivePDF 'document' that is returned to .NET

    Thank you

    Phil

    1. the path of the repository can be disabled

Try to use the URI absolute repository:///Applications/Project/Form.pdf as the path to your templates

    2. the user may not have sufficient permissions

Grant resources administrator for the account that accesses the form of the repository

I think one of the above solutions should workout.
