Problem with HP Deskjet D1460

I'm having a problem using this printer and I don't know what the problem is causing the problem. There are 2 problems:

1. when I went to print in black and white, the printer makes an impression, but the result is a sort of some texts the blur.

2. when I went to print in color, the printer gives incorrect colors, like green turn yellow or vice versa because I don't remember.

My question is, are they a cartridge problem or the problem of the printer itself?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello, JounochiK. If the led power blinks and there is no error one would need open the Properties dialog printer to access the tools and perform maintenance tasks, a detailed list of these tasks are shown in the user manual on pages 58-59, and how to access the printer properties dialog box is covered on page 43. There is a link to this page on page 59. I hope this helps.

  • HP Deskjet 2540: Wireless printing problems with HP Deskjet 2540

    Hi all

I have a problem with a printer HP Deskjet 2540 - it prints if I connected a USB cable; However, he refuses to print if I try to print wireless.

I had initially solved this problem when I went into system preferences > printers and Scanners and noticed two 2540 Deskjet series icons in a window titled 'Printers '. I ended up removing one of these icons and set it as a default, which temporarily seems to solve my problem. Now, I see two icons back in the "Printers" menu and my printer refuses to print over my wireless connection.

My printer is connected to my internet connection so I don't think there is a problem here - I also recently installed the software for this printer to make sure it wasn't some kind of driver issue; However, it doesn't give me the permanent solution, that I'm looking.

Any advice? My operating system is OS X Version 10.9.5

  • Connection problems with HP Deskjet 3526

I recently bought a HP Deskjet 3526, and I can't get this thing to connect.  I have verizon DSL DSL - 2750B box.

I do not have any type of MAC filtering on, this is the error I get constantly, and the error on the print page said WITHOUT filtering.

I have the WPA2 encryption on my setup with wireless, but when I turn off the printer encyrtion will connect.

I tried to go into the settings of the printer using the IP address it assigns and configure WPA2 encryption and my paraphrase.  I do and it unplug the printer and then I try to go back to verizon management console, and it still does not connect.

I had some where the printer connects to the verizon management console, but the printer will not connect.

I really need help because this isn't my first wireless HP printer that I have connected to the network.   Please help someone.

If you have a choice between the two, make sure that the type of encryption is AES and TKIP not. It would improve communication.

  • Problem with HP DeskJet 710C printer print do not.

I have a new Dell Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64-bit and have a HP DeskJet 710C printer.  Windows 7 downloaded the driver, and it is set as the default printer.  When I click on print, the page goes to my impression that and it shows print and then she gives the impression as if it printed, but it didn't.  I know that this printer is an older model, in the properties of the print server, I saw in the name of the file that it is 32.  When I went to 'Maintain my printer', I clicked on aligning the print cartridge and Windows Explorer has stopped working.  I'll be able to use this printer?

Uninstall of the printer will remove print jobs.

But you say that they are more in the impression even when stone.

What you have to do then is to follow the HP infromation, I gave you in my first reply to you:

"Uninstall and reinstall your printer using the right drivers and installation on the HP Web site information.

And there are some troubleshooting steps for it there also. »

  • Problem with the Deskjet F2280 of all-in-One

This printer worked fine until now. Suddenly, I get a flashing light with a E black/Photo on the screen of boot/copy. Have you tried shut it down + disconnect, restart the computer, and put the cartridges etc all to nothing does not. Sometimes it works fine and then errors come again. This happens without the printer is connected to the computer and connected so I guess it's a hardware fault. Replaced cartridges recently.

Can anyone suggest what it means and how to fix it? Thank you.

HI - try the procedure described in this document in the "The check cartridge lights blink.  In many cases, it is caused by dirtry contacts of cartridge/transport.

    Hope that helps.

  • Problem with printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515

Hello. First of all, I would like to wish all a happy new year!

I recently bought a printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515. The printer works fine (prints, scans, and copies). There is only one problem with it. It returns me an error when I l ' turn off. This happens very often, but not always, it is a little annoying. The error appears as: ERROR CODE SM_MODULE C 0X02B7C2ED (the error is also shown on the image). I tried to Google the problem but without effects. I don't know what could be the problem. Can someone help me please, because I have no idea what could be the problem. Thanks for the replays.

This problem has been resolved. It was my router D - Link DIR-615 which was causing the problem all the time. When I changed the router to another at the beginning of the printer stop normally.

  • problem with Wi - Fi of the HP Deskjet 3055 A J611-n

    Hello

I'm a newbie in the forum. I have to solve a problem, I had this morning with my new printer HP Deskjet 3055 A J611-n.

First of all, I would like to know the reason why I found the 3050 a J611a installation CD in the box, I hope that's not a mistake, and drivers are the same that I have to use to install the machine.

Then, I have a problem with the wireless connection. When I tried to connect my printer to the router, my printer found the link and all of a sudden he throws on all laptop computers connected to the same network. He brought to the installation to fail, because the printer found the router, but it also could not complete the installation correctly because the cell phone has been disconnected.

Can someone help me solve the problem, please?

    Thank you in advance.

I fixed the problem by unplugging all laptops and leaving in line just one where I wanted to install the printer on. It worked fine (I used your suggestions).

    Thank you for helping me.

  • Problem printing with HP Deskjet 5150

Hello, I have a problem with my HP Deskjet 5150 color inkjet printer. A few months ago, I noticed that all the documents I want to print are printed with the left margin of the page wider than the right margin; Instead, both margins have the same width. This question concerns the documents in general, and not of documents printed with a specific software only.
All computers that use the printer have Windows 7 as operating system. I tried to install the drivers of online support for the transition from Windows Vista to Windows 7, but the problem remains.

    What can I do?

    Thank you.

    Hi andrewshort94,

    Thank you very much!

With this, it is certainly a problem with the hardware of the printer, and because all computers are Windows 7, there is no HP software to try other things.

You need a Windows XP computer to install this printer to be able to access the HP Toolbox to perform alignment and things of this nature, as it was the last operating system supported the full features software. If you do not have access to a Windows XP computer, I might suggest that you start looking in getting another printer. You can call the HP Technical Support and inquire about trade and commerce program to see what kind of offers they have for you

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • Problems with the help of Deskjet 3745 on home network 2-PC

I have an old PC running Windows XP SP3 and a new one running Windows 7, but only one printer. The network that connects the PC is on an ADSL router with its own external Iomega network drive with a USB port.

To make the printer can be used on two computers,

    1. I initially plugged on the Iomega USB port. But the port was effectively a 1-way connection, so I couldn't preview before printing to see which form/profile of the printer used. So I put discarded and...
    2. revenue to the printer connected to a PC all the time and share it on the network. But two different PCs drivers needed which would not talk among themselves, and the establishment would simply not work.
    3. Finally, I went back to the simple method of the printer on the USB port of any PC, sure I needed it for us. Worked well for a while until the WINDOWS 7
    • Print preview has begun showing empty images (but print correctly).
    • print-queue doesn't have to face the cancelled documents.

I had help of Deskjet Support to address this issue, which even reinstall the drivers on two PCs - several times! But I'm still left unresolved 3 problems with Win 7 donations.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation and found a satisfactory solution to work?

Try the following: connect the printer to the XP computer and set the machine XP to share it on the network.  On the Windows 7 machine go devices and printers folder, add a printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update, and then select (not Hewlett-Packard) HP Deskjet 3740 series (Bobo).

  • HP Deskjet 3050: Problems with printing in color?

Hi all, I have problems printing in color. No idea what to do. Here's the problem: I'm trying to print in color and the colors look darker on one page, my colors are fine then saw green to halfway through until its finished. On another page, the colors are ok, but some colors are missing.  I tried the cleaning test, the colors seem to come out ok! Tried to see the ink and the remaining portion. It seems to be more left black and yellow, cyan and magenta. No idea what do then, never had this problem with the printer before. Thanks for any help!

Looks like you have a cartridge that is short of magenta or default.  This can happen to cartridges that are very old, even if they still have ink or third party cartridges that were not filled out properly.  The steps of troubleshooting in the paper here may help, but I suspect that you need a cool color cartridge.

  • DeskJet D1460: where download driver HP Deskjet basic?

I'm looking to download only print driver (not full package) for the Deskjet D1460 printer. After crossing the section software & drivers on your Web site, only the full features software is shown when this model is selected, with a note saying that if you only want the print driver, it is available as a separate download named "HP Deskjet basic driver". However there is no indication where this can be downloaded, no links or anything. I tried to use the search function of your Web site, nothing helps. Can you help me?

    Hello @james_233,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you are looking for HP Deskjet basic driver.

    I would like to help.

I went on the site and checked. You are right.

Curiously, there is no reference to this "Deskjet basic Driver.

I don't think there is such a driver.

Your post indicates that you are running windows 8.1. It should have the Deskjet D1460 as a class pre installed driver.

Try to use the Add Printer Wizard to install the printer.

If it is always to give you a problem, try to use the driver of class deskjet 9800.

  • DeskJet D1460 appearing is not in the solution Center

I recently had problems with my HP Deskjet D1460, which I tried to solve by uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver and all related software. A fatal error occurred during installation, the installation has been reversed and a solution has been downloaded. After you follow the steps in the solution, I tried to reinstall it again, only to be presented with a message saying that the software was already installed - it turns out that the installation was not reversed after all. Further investigation showed that the printer works, although the original problem had not been resolved. I managed to find the cause of the issue to Google Chrome and solved the problem in uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome. So, I now have a fully functional printer. But here's the problem: the printer is no longer appears in the HP Solution Center. Before reinstall, it appeared there but would not show ink levels. Now, it disappeared completely, but my other printer HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m is the ink level still there and display. No idea why the Deskjet disappeared, and how can I get it back?

    Hi nintendoboy15,

At this point, if all you really need is to check on the D1460 ink levels, you can do that with the HP print and Scan Doctor. Once you download and run the HP print and Scan doctor, you will want to choose the Photosmart D1460 and then it will bring you to a screen showing there are missing software or difficulty printing or difficulty of analysis. If you click on the printer and then the ink levels, you should be able to see them there. I know this isn't a fix for the problem, but I hope this work around makes life a little easier

Hope you have a good week!

  • Problem with connection for ePrint

    Hello

Today, I brought a new printer - all in one, HP Deskjet INK Advantage 3520. All functions are OK, but I have a problem with ePrint.
In practice, the printer is connected to my wifi at home and I can print without USB cable with no problems. But when I want the ePrint of installation function, I get an error that the printer do not have any internet connection and I can't complete the configuration of the service.

Do anyone know how I can eliminate the problem?

    Thank you
    Denis

    Hi DenyKr,

I see that you are having problems with your printer, connecting to web services.  I would like to try the following steps.

    1. open the internet browser type printer IP address.

2 should bring you to the status of the printer page.

    3. Select the tab network at the top.

    4. left side select IPv4 under wireless.

    5. under DNS address Configuration select manual DNS server.

    6. for favorite enter 8.8.8.8

    7. for alternate enter 8.8.4.4

    8. Select apply. You can get a warning saying that this could break the connection which is very good.

    9. turn the printer off for about 30 seconds, then try again.

Let me know how it goes.
