• Problems with InDesign crashing at startup

  Has been given that no problem with InDesign just updated to InDesign Version 11.3.0.34 today and hangs at startup still occur. I'm on Windows 7, x 64, and here is the dialog box that comes with the crash:

• Weird problem with InDesign

  Hey there.

  I use InDesign CC (with all updated) with 10 Windows, and I'm having a strange question. Basically everything I do (click and drag an object or text box, click a new text box, resize something, place something on the page, etc.) cannot be seen until I put my cursor in my Windows task bar. Then I will be, for example, click and drag an image to a new location on the page, but it doesn't DO anything on the screen until I roll my cursor on the bar of tasks and then BAM it is in place, that I moved. It's horrible because I don't actually SEE what I'm doing while I'm doing it.

  I don't have this problem in any other Adobe program - I use mainly Photoshop and Illustrator and they are quite well. I tried to uninstall and reinstall InDesign, but who did nothing, as it is up to date and everything. I tried to watch it, but it is a bit difficult to google and I found something similar so far.

  Any suggestions?

  I have it!

  This is the "Winows Ink" setting in the Wacom tablet properties. Kind of sucks though, because I need this option to be enabled for certain issues in Photoshop. But at least now I know how to solve this problem for InDesign. Wacom has need to get their shit and their pilots - I feel that I'm constantly having to find workarounds goofy for my tablet.

• Problem with Indesign 2014 CC (Creative Cloud)

  I tried to install InDesign Creative CC 2014 (in Mac) compared to the clouds but the installation hangs in 17%... Check the logs shows me that there is a problem with the file.

  Here is a screenshot of the logs

  If this is correct, the text says that the file is corrupted...

  
  

  Note: This is the unique application that gives me problems... I installed Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, etc. without any problems.

• Problem with InDesign CS6

  I downloaded CS6 InDesign, but when I open it and try to use it, the program won't let me choose the selection arrow by clicking on. Instead, I have to use V or escape. Also, I can't spend beween controls the formatting of the paragraph and the control of shaped characters. I can't access or modify the fonts through the character option. The only way I can see the list of fonts is by clicking Type, and then click fonts. I have a Windows 7, 64-bit HPTouchsmart computer. What is the problem with this program? At this point, the program is useless for me.

• Problems with InDesign in Dreamweaver - nothing goes with my code?

  I'm working on a site of DW and I'm having some trouble with the InDesign that I use. I am new to the program, so I'm still working my way, but I think it might be something with my code. Can you guys help out me?

  Background information:

  -The affected area is a three-column home page area.

  -I am trying to use the InDesign so that the webfonts pop up as text in all three columns.

  -The problem is that the webfonts are only applied to part of the text on one of the columns.

  -J' uses two InDesign on both sides of each column: a font for the title text and a font for the main text.

  Uploaded to a server to http://rntestsite.6te.net/ test and the problem seems to be fixed. Maybe that's just a problem with the program.

  I just run in a new issue with Indesign interactive files.
  I made an interactive magazine for a client for one year.
  I downloaded a PDF question.
  Then when I went online to open the acrobat reader file gave an error that the file is not loading properly because the file was "complicated".

  The file works correctly with Pro and the hard disk drive.

  
  I uninstalled Acrobat Reader on the PC and the file online now opens correctly very well.
  But my client users have the same problem on the opening of the file online. Is there a new glitch in the online reader?

  Any ideas?

• Problem with InDesign startup script does not import XML images

  I'm doing an XML import automatically from a startup script when a document is loaded. I managed to get most of the content to fill, but the images are ignored. Everything works, including images, when I do a manual 'Import XML' through the user interface or a manual script.

  Here's my manual script:

  I solved it by avoiding the event quite listener:

• Problems with InDesign - Lightroom workflow

  Hello!

  I'm doing a portfolio in InDesign using the images I have on Lightroom, the problem I have, is that when I make an adjustment in Lightroom that adjustment is not registered in the actual file so that the changes didn't apear in the InDesign document.

  What I did is setting the pictures on Lightroom, then open them in Photoshop with Lightroom adjustments, save them to a different file and then placing them on the InDesign document. It works but it's a total pain and I end up having 3 different versions of the same images.

  I'm very slight adjustments in exposure and color for all photos fit and its so much easier and faster to do on Lightroom in Photoshop.

  Is it possible to save the settings that I achieve on Lightroom on the file so InDesign can read?

  Export the images as separate files. LR is not supposed to be used directly with ID, as in the best of cases, you will need to use raw files.

  I bought an InDesign v.1.0 and cannot install it on a real MacBook Air/Pro with OS X 10.9.xx. Is that too old to get running on these? Does anyone know the requirements?

  A version of InDesign that age was designed to run on a Mac with a PowerPC processor. It won't work at all on Mac with an Intell processor like yours.

• Upgrade memory PC 2 GB to 4 GB - problem with Indesign CS4

  I use Indesign CS4 on a PC (XP Professional SP3) that has 2 GB of memory. InDesign would go, but it has been slow, so upgraded to 4 GB. InDesign is running, but when we try to cut the text on one application and paste it into the document Indsign, he hesitates for a second or two before finishing the task.

  Is there some settings in Indesign to be considered in the upgrade memory? Any help or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

• Problem with my workspace

  Unable to

  (1) see my right side panel that displays "layers", "glyphs", "shades", etc...

  (2) use my hand tool to move the work plan according to my needs. Plan of work is currently coming in the right part of the page and I can't seem to bring it into the Center to work on my image.
