• Photosmart HP 5510 - problem with the icon of the printer

  The icon of the printer that takes you to the Panel to choose print, scan, etc.  now keeps asking if I want to install a new printer...   I appreciate your ongoing efforts, I would like you to answer all of the steps listed here. Please do the steps listed, if you are still running into errors do NOT run everything as the PSDR printer utility. I think that the multiple uninstall and relocations are now causing a problem.  I understand that you already did uninstall it and reinstall by following the instructions, but I think we can try a different approach. Please post back and let me know the result and we can continue from there. See below:

  • Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
  • Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted

  • Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer

• Problem with desktop icons - odd images appearing

  I recently acquired a laptop Asus N61Vg which of course came with a Windows 7 Home Premium OEM. After using for most laptops and Windows 7 settings, and after I got rid of the bloatware, I started to do some graphics cards and performance tests. While I was measuring a few FPS in Left 4 Dead (not a fan of the game, I just wanted to test the graphics card, an Nvidia 220 M), the game froze and I had to close it with the "end task".

  Subsequently, some of the desktop icons (some of them from the former programs) are displayed inside a frame, a very annoying. I tried fiddling with the usual settings and reinstall the graphics card driver. I even deleted the Cache icon (from my AppData folder) but the problem persists.

  Since I only used the system for a few days, I can imagine there is a registry entry that I've screwed to the top or a setting that I modified. So it is either very simple and puts me in a bad light or whole enough to annoy me. Any suggestions?

  The problem is that most of the icons can only watch smoothly on a "small icons" view. I used the medium-sized icons. The game changed some of my settings, and resizing is affected. After some time switching between small - medium - large icons and reorganization, the problem went away, even after rebooting. I can't be sure, it will not resurface once again, but at least I can get rid of it if she didn't.

  In short: RMB-> view-> small icons. RMB-> view-> medium-sized icons. Reorganize, restart. The effect may still appear then do this a few times, eventually passing through large icons as well.

  1. go to start and type regedit.exe.

  2. navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Explorer.

  3. now, create a DWORD value called Max Cached Icons and set the value to 4096.

  4. close the registry editor.

  5 restart the computer.

  If the problem continues, check if a third of service or application is causing this problem.

  When I add a reminder to a PDF, I have two problems. One is that when I go to print the document with the comments, the position of the note of sticky notes on the printed page change where I placed it (I try to place the bottom of the projection arrow type down the text that I am to comment on).   How can I get the icon 'Remove hardware safely' to stop making its sound? It makes the bonk sound which indicates that you can remove your device. It slows down the PC games and is just annoying. I used the troubleshooter and checked all USB options that have been listed under my 'pilot' and the message I get says that they are enabled and work correctly.   To turn off the sound for the connection / disconnection of devices, follow these steps:

  a. click Start and select Control Panel

  b. click on device sound and Audio

  c. under device sound and Audio, click its tab

  d. under program events, select the device connection and in the Strait, make scrolling the drop down for None.

  e. also repeat the same for disconnection device

  This should do the trick.

  I was using Adobe Flash Builder IDE to create applications for Tablet Blackberry using Adobe AIR. Currently, I had spent in FDTS IDE based on the details that are on the bb site (). I tried to create apps for the two BB tablet as well regarding BB 10. I followed the same path that we follow in Adobe Flash Builder. But when running the unit or the Simulator, he demonstrated error 'unknown resource '. But the same folder structure, classes, images work properly in Flash Builder.

  I had found the solution for this.

  It was since then, seven windows laptop is to have two Admin & Normal user accounts. The Normal user, I used the IDE FDTS, for security reasons. And FDTS IDE, AIR SDK, Flex SDK, and BB 10 SDK were inside C:\Program Files (x 86) \Research In Motion\. It was the question. I had found that for many software blackberry and related drivers are required to be installed directly on the C drive for better use. I had tried that and found that the setting icon errors are resolved.

  Note: Do not related Blackberry software install in Program Files / Program Files (x 86) in Windows. It can be in any folder inside C (the drive in which Windows is installed), example, C:\Blackberry.

  And now FDTS turns out to be almost fine.
