Problem with permission, download and reading electronic books, updated...

I do not use ADE during a long period. Frankly speaking, I got it 2 weeks for a special ebook. 2 weeks ago everything was fine and I was able to read the ebook.

However, today I am not able to do anything with ADE, because only he answers with errors or does not react. This includes:

-When I start ADE, he asks if an update needs to be made. If my answer is 'yes', nothing happens: the window closes, but the update is not installed. If I said 'later' the window is closed, too.

-If I want to read my ebook (double-click on, do a right click and 'read' or 'read' in the upper left corner of the window) an occoures error: I didn't write down, but it was a short abbreviation which consisted of no words. I wasn't able to work out what it means.

-J' deleted the ebook in my library and thought this would be a good idea to download again: However, now ADE do not even open the file I get the site: it says "error!" Check the Activation.

-J' checked my activation: everything seemed to go well. This is the ID on the right. That's why I tried to remove my activation and redo: However, if I try to delete it, ADE said: "permission can not be deleted. Try again later. ». Well, I tried later, but the problem remains.

- Then I tried to uninstall and reinstall ADE: uninstall worked well. However, when I reinstalled it, everything was as before (even my permission has not been deleted) and each malefunction remained the same.

Can someone help me? This is my first attempt to deal with ebooks and I become desperate about the situation.

  1. Close all applications.
  2. Click Start > run.
  3. Open, type regedit in the text box and press ENTER. The Registry Editor opens.
  4. In the left pane of the registry editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
  5. Select the key of the follower.
  6. Choose file > export.
  7. In the export registry file dialog box, select the branch selected under export range. Enter a name and location for the backup registry key, and then click Save.
  8. Right click on the key to the follower, and then choose Remove.
  9. In the dialog box confirm the key deletion, click OK.
  10. Close the registry editor.
  11. Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

    Last weekend, I have an irritating problem with my HP 15 laptop. Bought two years ago and upgrades to Windows 10 a year ago.
     
    First of all, my touchpad started to not work properly. It "freezes" and I can't use it until I click the ESC key, but it doesn't last and "freezes" again a few seconds later. Then, everytime I open a window where there is a text box (Start menu, edge browser, Control Panel, etc.), the number 5 is entered automatically and permanently, as if the button 5 has been blocked. I did a quick check and button 5 do not seem physically stuck.
     
    Yesterday, I restored the system to the factory settings, so I'm back to 8.1 for Windows and then upgraded to Windows 10. Everything seems to work fine, but this morning, the problem was back. Is there something I can do? What is the problem caused by Windows 10 or the computer? Should I restore it to Windows 8.1? Everything worked great til last weekend, I don't know what that was.

    I understand that you have a problem with the keyboard and the touchpad on your laptop from HP 15.

    Have you tried to use a keyboard external and mouse at all?

    Have you tried to go to Safe Mode to see if the problems persist in there?

    Have you tried to perform a material or forced reset Reset?

    Did you do a test of material?

    Have you updated your drivers?

    It could be a driver problem to be able to look at that for you, I need your model number. I wish I could give you an answer or not, but at this point without the troubleshooting results and the model number, it is difficult for me to say.

    I can say that if everything works in point 8.1 of Windows without problem, the driver TROUBLESHOOTING is a great place to start. Please try to follow these steps for the keyboard and the touchpad of troubleshooting:

    To compare two routers, I noticed that the only real difference between the two is that the TCP MSS value is set to '0' on the router of the problem, and then assign him 1392 (MTU - 40) on the router to elderly who gives better performance.

    Be sure to interpret the values. The '0' means no not literally because the link would not work. It is likely, that it allows the local device set limits for the link. Don't forget that there is a Maximum value and as such can be any value up to such limit as defined by all devices in the path.

    You can try capping manually but it is unlikely that any local limit will come to effect unless you set very low.

    May 14, last night I had several (automatically) downloaded windows update

    Today, I was unable to boot my computer with Windows - tried the disk check, start checks etc, and eventually had to use System Restore (for help before the critical update to restore).

    Perfection, everything works, but knowing that windows will attempt to redo an automatic update, tried to check online - no one seemed to have a problem and (naivly) thinking I could always do another restore of the system, I rebooted again.

    Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."

    Would appreciate advice how do my installed display driver or whether anyone else has problems following this update
