Problem with the debugging token

So I managed to create my token of debugging and I have everything set up the way I think it should be:

My blackberry - tablet.xml has the author fields and corresponding authorId the manifest of the token list and by operating with information of VM, it deploys there okay, but when I run with my info real blackberry he mess up (I add the - devMode as requested).

Does anyone else has thoughts as to why it's having such an error?

As I expected, it was something stupid.  There was an error in my xml file (authorID against authorId), and I needed to include it in the path to the command line.

  • withWriteAccessDo problems with the debug plugin

    Hi good morning all,

    I've just started writing plugins for Lightroom (well, I had a first successful 2 years ago but now I start again with more complicated stuff) and of course I love the Debug plugin (thanks again, John!)- but I'm still struggling with concepts and limitations that may be imposed by the latter.

    Concretely, that I will meet the error "attempt to access the property 'myPropertyName' which is not declared in Info.lua", during the execution of my script using the debugging dialog box. It works when I run it just in the Plugin Extras menu as a menu action.

    Code:

    LrTasks.startAsyncTask (Debug.showErrors (function (context)
    local catalog = LrApplication.activeCatalog)
    selected local = catalogue: getTargetPhotos()

    ...

    key s peers (values)
    Catalog: withWriteAccessDo ("writing data", Debug.showErrors (function (context))
    Photo: setPropertyForPlugin (_PLUGIN, "myPropertyName", s)
    end))
    end

    I found something in the Internet which is an indication of a race condition, then maybe it has something to do with a packaging script / running the other? Or y at - it a way to get this race with script debugging, and I'm simply not understand the notion of background tasks/threads yet :-)?

    Thanks for your help!

    Christof

    (I'm on LR 5)

    Christof,

    We will call the plugin that you debug MyPlugin.  I think the problem is that you are the menu command Debug Script in the debug plugin but Script invoking a MyPlugin returned file.  When you do so, all references to the global variable _PLUGIN are actually referring to the Debug Script plugin, not for MyPlugin.   And so, the returned file cannot access the properties of MyPlugin.

    This is a limitation of the SDK that I neglected to document in the Toolbox for debugging.  The solution is simple - copy Debugscript.lua to the MyPlugin folder and add a menu command for MyPlugin that calls Debugscript.   See steps 6 to 9 "Debug export - and publishing Plugins Service" documentation "debugging Toolkit.docx.

    Let me know if that solves your problem.

    Hello

    I created token of debugging with recording files successfully. The debugging token has worked well for me. My first debugging token has expired and I have created a new token of debugging the same procedure. But when I installed them on playbook it shows that is not valid. Please help me with this.

    Thanks in advance,

    I got it fixed. The issue was that time in the playbook was not in sync with the time system.

  • command line to create the debugging token has problem with the bbidtoken

    Hello

    I tried to use the BB ID token to create the debugging token.  Following the instructions of the command line, I got an error.

    BlackBerry-debugtokenrequest - bbidtoken bbidtoken.csk - storepass mypassword deviceid - 12345678 dt.bar

    Error: Only RDK or COMINCO Signatures are allowed when using BBIDToken

    The token id BB must be correct, because I can use it to sign an application.  I can also generate the debugging token from Momentics.  I believe momentics also call blackberry-debugtokenrequest internally, but do not know what are his secret settings.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Tyler

    Try without the parameter of bbidtoken.csk - bbidtoken.

    Also, make sure you use blackberry-debugtokenrequest of the 10.2 Gold SDK.  Previous versions do not BlackBerry ID support chips.

  • Problems with the creation of chips of debugging SDK WebWorks of Blackberry10 2.0.0.71

    I had a problem with the creation of debugging tokens using the blackberry-debugtokenrequest command. It gives me an error saying that "java" is not a batch file or a program. The blackberry-debugtokenrequest batch file has the following text:

    @java - Djava.awt.headless = true-Xmx512M - cp ' % ~dp0\... \lib\EccpressoJDK15ECC.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\EccpressoAll.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\TrustpointAll.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\TrustpointJDK15.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\TrustpointProviders.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\BarPackager.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\BarSigner.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\KeyTool.jar;%~dp0\... \lib\DebugTokenRequest.jar ' net.rim.device.codesigning.debugtoken.DebugTokenRequest % *.

    I think that the culprit is the symbol @ before java, does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution?

    What happens if at the command prompt just type "java-version" of your command prompt?

    If it does not, you must do one of two things.

    1. install Java v1.6 (32-bit only)

    2 Java is not in your PATH. (http://www.java.com/en/download/help/path.xml)

    Using (2) I get "error: the password of csk specified is not valid.

    We did this three days after another. So every day we ask you an email with a password token, and every day the site said us sorry this token of password is not recognized, please try retyping or get password another token.

    The system of resetting password with a token does not, at least not in the Netherlands. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

    Sorry, but the mentioned page asks you to connect with your name Skype and password, so that we cannot further. My mother has a balance of Skype credit that she doesn't use anymore.

    What is the problem with the password reset procedure?

    OK, after a very good conversation with Cherry B we discovered that the account is a Windows Live account, then we should change the password in Windows Live. The password reset procedure could mention this...

  • Crash of CVI 2013 with the debug version

    Hello

    I'm trying to migrate a large enough project of CVI 2012SP1-CVI 2013 and feels the clang compiler crash when I try a debug on some files.  Clang will also plant (' Labwindows/CVI the Clang compiler has stopped working... ") so I am just trying to compile the file (ctrl-k) in the editor.  Here's what I found:

    • A release not crushed

    • By turning the C99 power button has no effect

    • Change the warning level has no effect (other than the types of warnings that I get, of course)

    • Change the ' debug ' on 'No run-time check' eliminates the crash.

    • 'Enable. Option of obj"eliminates the crash.

    • By turning precompiled headers power has the effect.

    Here is the long message I get from the compiler when this happens (including all the warnings that are always displayed when the level is set to 'None'):

    Any thoughts?  Unfortunately it's a pretty big project that I can't post and it doesn't seem to be an indication of the or the lines in the file that he has problems with it, so I can't limit, although it seems to hint that he has problems with the structures of some sort.  The PC is running Windows 7 Pro 32 bit if it matters.

    Thank you.

    Hi tstanley,

    We could find the cause of the accident of the compiler from your code. We will settle in the next update and you can follow with bug ID 422577.

    The issue occurs when in a function, you have a call to a function that returns a structure in a global variable and then refer to this world in another function. For example:

    struct Foo foo; global variable foo

    Sub FuncA()
    {
    foo = GetStructFoo();
    }

    Sub FuncB()
    {
    do something with foo / / crash
    }

    In this case is because we are bad associate information of temporary pointer with foo in FuncA. Then in FuncB, clang will crash when it tries to access this pointer information.

    There are two workaround solutions, but both require changes in the code.

    1. modify the function that returns the structure, GetStructFoo in my example, the return via a pointer parameter:

    void GetStructFoo(Foo *foo);

    2 use a temporary local variable to manipulate the structure returned and then assign its value to the overall structure:

    struct Foo tempFoo;

    tempFoo = GetStructFoo();

    foo = tempFoo;

    In our next update, we will include the fix for this bug.

  • Problem with the report and the system of axis 2d

    Hi, I'm trying to write a script with tiara, who wrote a 2d axis system in the report but I'm having a lot of problems with it.

    What I'm trying to do, is make 3 or more system axis 2d in the report, each displaying a part of the data of 2 channels (x = ch0, ch1 = y).

    With only 1 graphic I get what I want, but when I try to add the 2nd or the 3rd, they show without my defined x-scale and with the offset x different from the first chart.

    I tried everything, but I could not remedy

    I added as attachments the .csv file that I use to ch0 and ch1 and 2 screen shoots "what I get" (about the problem with the script) and "what I hope to get" (done manually, is what I'm trying to get the report)

    Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance

    Hi lerman,.

    Here is an edited version of your code that works on my computer.  A problem that I know that I fixed it was that your presentation of the STATE was in the name-oriented mode but you use the variables based on the number to assign it X and Y channels.  The execution of these commands in a loop FOR makes it much easier to debug the code and to avoid any annoyance at first.

  • I just did a check of norton power Eraser which revealed that I have a problem with the file ntsd.exe.

    original title: problem with file ntsd.exe

    I just did a check of norton power Eraser which revealed that I have a problem with the file ntsd.exe. Does anyone have suggestions about what to do to fix it? Thank you very much.

    Hi JohnABuckley,

    • Are you facing any problem on the computer?

    Ntsd.exe is a process belonging to the Microsoft symbolic debugger that lets you debug applications in user mode.

    As the link below, it says that there is a risk that Norton Power Eraser can select some legitimate programs for removal. You should carefully review the analysis results page before deleting the files. I suggest that you don't delete the file unless you are facing problems with the computer.

  • Blue screen on startup... problem with the display driver?

    I have been using a Dell Inspiron 14R (N4110) laptop computer since 2010 without any problem.

    The laptop was purchased online from Dell and came with

    (1) Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and

    2) AMD Radeon HD 6470 M - 1 GB display card.

    Recently, I had a problem where my laptop just wouldn't start, showing the blue screen every time it tries to start. The blue screen mentions a problem with the file atikmpag.sys I understand is the driver for the AMD video card.

    If I delete/rename the files atikmpag.sys and atikmdag.sys (via secure boot mode) in C:/windows/system32/drivers, the laptop (not) start, but obviously does not recognize the graphics card.

    After a lot of unsuccessful trials debugging on mine (including trying to upgrade the drivers to display etc.)., I reinstalled the operating system and the drivers provided with the original kit (just to eliminate any possibility of an upgrade that went wrong). However, I still see the issue.

    That means there is a hardware problem? or a BIOS problem?

    Thank you

    R.B.

    Guys, the problem you describe is actually a hardware failure. There is nothing you can do except replace a motherboard for laptop, or taken some advanced technicians, COMPUTING which will replace or chip GPU reball.

    I have the same a laptop similar (Inspiron N5110), with the same problems and these problems - all started yesterday. Do not waste your time, just reinstall OS, then install display drivers, which are available on the official site of Support of DELL and after that - if it's not working, just do what I said.

    Generally these are consequences of an overheating laptop, but that it was certainly not my case (I did regular checks), I could even bet on chips quality GPU, which has been used in the manufacture of this model of laptop... again...

    UPDATE: Okay, last night was a long night for me and I can confirm finally - who's * chip AMD, which causes the blue screen, you mentioned. I disassembled my N5110 faulty, armed with a heatgun, Probe temperature (probe) and tons of aluminium + some flow of brazing, I made a fairly quick reflow and the result is just what I expected - everything works perfectly again, with the same configuration - even with the same installation of Windows, which has been to launch these blue screens. There are now no blue screen at all and portable computer performance as new.

    Apparently bad welding, when this laptop was manufactured, is the exact reason why we are where we are. The BGA chip was not dead at all (it was just poorly soldered). The same story, including HP and a bunch of other companies had some time ago with these NVIDIA chips (I know, some of you know what I'm talking about).

    CONCLUSION: Integrated DELL diagnostic software is useless against the detection of defects with a discreet graphics AMD card. Problem was not in the software or drivers - it was just a poorly welded chip (I regularly cleaned my laptop dust, so overheating is not an option here).

  • Problem with the BlackBerry Developer Site

    We are currently experiencing a problem with the integration of BlackBerry ID with the BlackBerry Developer web site.  This prevents the developers to create a new BlackBerry ID Token, connecting Issue Tracker and Developer area and potentially other areas that require authentication.  Trying to access one of these pages gives the following error.

    Sorry, there is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. Please try again later.

    Teams are trying to solve the problem.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

    The problem has been resolved.  You should now be able to connect Issue Tracker and generate BlackBerry ID chips again.

  • Cannot create the debugging token (.bar)

    Hello

    A few months ago I got xxx.csj - RDK-client and client-COMINCO - xxx.csj and registered with blackberry-signer. I used them to sign my applications published in the world of Blackberry. Some time later, I registered author.p12, barsigner.csk, and barsigner.db in a place course and then reinstalled my Windows OS.

    Today, I tried to create the debugging token. If I run:

    C:\bbndk-2.1.0\host\win32\x86\usr\bin\blackberry-signer-s'inscrire - csjpin - storepass xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx customer-RDK - xxxxxx.csj customer-COMINCO - xxxxx.csj

    I get an error:

    Cannot save client xxxxxxx because there is no more the record attempts. If you are already registered with this server, you must restore your backup signing keys. If you do not have a backup of the key, then you can order a new set of keys at www.blackberry.com/go/codesigning

    OK, I have my author.p12, the barsigner.csk and the barsigner.db, so I tried:

    C:\bbndk-2.1.0\host\win32\x86\usr\bin\blackberry-debugtokenrequest cskpass - xxxxxx - keystore author.p12 - storepass xxxxxxxx - deviceId xxxxxxx debugtoken.bar

    I get an error:

    Error: Not yet registered to request debugging tokens

    What's wrong? How can I generate a debugtoken (.bar file)?

    Oops! My mistake, I forgot to copy author.p12, barsigner.csk and barsigner.db to the default location:
