  I want to use cases in which clause. I wrote a very simple query to test how it works. However, I always got an error message. Here's what I did.

  Why do you want to use BOX in a WHERE clause?  The wonderful thing about the CASE is that it allows you to do IF-THEN-ELSE logic.  In a SELECT clause, or an ORDER BY clause, this is really useful, but the WHERE clause already allows you to use the IF-THEN-ELSE logic.

  However, if you use the BOX in a WHERE clause, it is as it does nowhere else.  Always BARGAIN instead of a single expression in a SQL data types.  All the clauses THEN (and ELSE, if there is one) must return a single expression, such as the NUMBER.  (There is no BOOLEAN data type in SQL).  So, you can use a CASE statement like this:

  ...

  CASES WHERE

  WHEN 1 = 1 THEN 1

  WHEN 1! = 1 THEN 2

  END = eid

  Here, the CASE expression takes the place of a NUMBER.

  However, if I was not sure if 1 = 1 or not, I would write the condition in this way, without a CASE expression:

  WHERE (1 = 1 AND eid = 1)

  OR (1! = 1 AND eid = 2).

  I have tried for two days, but still can't make it work.
  I took a hot (online) full backup archive as well as the control file logs with the SPFILE and then copy the backup to the new host with the same directory structure and parameters. Finally, I tried to restore and recover the database on the new host, but failed during the restore process.
  
  The original host and the new host have the same subject Oracle installed until the patch level. I couldn't understand the solution to this problem based on my knowledge on Oracle DB.
  
  Could someone help me out here? Any advice would be appreciated!

In a backup cold (assuming that the CLOSURE was not a SURRENDER but was NORMAL, TRANSACTIONAL, or IMMEDIATE) all files in the database (data files, redo log and controlfiles files) are 'compatible' - at the same point in time, to the same SCN. In a hot backup, the files are updated. RMAN is not necessarily take all the data files at the same time - for example when you have several data files, RMAN would backup the files in batches of 4 or 8 - data files are therefore controlled at different points in time. Similarly, the controlfile is saved last.

• Problem with the loading of XML and xmlns

  I'm having a problem with loading an XML file that was created by Filemaker.  FileMaker will display an XML file by using one of two different grammars.  A poster of a standard form for the most that I can use with a glitch.  Flash CS4 AS3 seems to have a problem with the xmlns in one of the nodes.

  More precisely:

  TypeError: Error #1010: a term is undefined and has no properties.

  I need it so that the user can enter/change the data and simply output the XML file of Filemaker and then the Flash load the XML file not corrupted and displays the information requested by the user.  That is to say I might have the user open the XML file in a word processing application and have remove them the xmlns..., but it is rather heavy and not very user-friendly.

  I tried all the xml.ignore functions I could find, but it does not help.  I hope someone out there can help you

  The ':' is what we call a scope resolution operator. Using namespace allows you to potentially have two or more nodes that have the same name but a namespace 'different '. "These are normally specified in xml in the form xmlns:mynamespace ="http://myuniqueURI.com/etc"

  Normally, you would use the mynamespace:node by naming your xml nodes that are specific to this namespace.

  But the best is that namespace by default, when there is no real Prefixeespacenom: in the name of node as:

  That's how it is specified in your xml file, that is to say all the nodes without a prefix belong to the filemaker namespace.

  I recently had problems with my microphone and speakers/headphones and game controllers.

  I have a usb game controller which also did not work everything properly.

  Are you talking about internal microphone or external? This only happens using Skype?
  In your case I would test the microphone using different applications to make sure that is not a Skype related issue.

  I put t think its problem of laptop in my opinion, you must make sure that the controller is compatible with the games you play and also recommended to check some info provided by the manufacturer of the game controller.

• Could get a new router block printing? We had a lot of problems with the computer in the last week and a half. Bought new router and now the printer does not print. :-(

  (1) we went to DirecTV. Then the same day, our internet computer is down. I asked our current provider, Suddenlink, to let them know we had them to another - but we wanted to keep for the internet.

  (2) called DirecTV to investigate why our internet went down at the same time they installed? They said that they did nothing to cause that. We waited 5 days to make out and also install the third TV that was promised. The second tech gave things a lookover and said, once again, that there is nothing unusual during their passage to cause the problem.

  (3) called Suddenlink. They said it was the router. Called the people of Netgear. They said that the router was too old. We needed to pay an exorbitant sum for support and when I told him I'd rather just buy a new router and get free technical support for 90 days... and I personally do not have the credit cards in that time. (it's my mother s equip and I wonder it for the computer) when the guy told me that he could help and hung up on us, even though I was pleading for him to wait until I put my mother on the phone. (I'm in my 40s... not a kid).

  (4) Suddenlink called a few days later, when we got a new router (netgear brand NO!) Installed and I noticed that the 'ready' light was not 'on' on the modem. Their technology has said that he would check and call us in a few minutes. He did not.

  (5) the next day I called Suddenlink AGAIN. This time, I got a really nice customer service agent. She said she would send someone to check on it. It turns out that they had disconnected when I had called to pass only the TV.

  (6) in any case, we are finally online... only now... I can't the printer to work. :-(  This has worked before.  Could it be caused by the different router? I don't know about these things. I didn't even know what it was until someone at Radio Shack has explained to me. (I was not about to buy one at Wal-Mart - these poor people). The printer is a Canon Pixma MX340. We love him. The only thing is that it is difficult to clear the tasks or to reset. The only way to really do that is to simply pull the plug, unfortunately and restart the computer. But hey, it's a great printer, better than HP.

  We are under vista. The router is a Linksys wifi (which we have) N300 model E900.

  After the last updates of windows have problems with start up and now drivers. I get an error code 21 when I try to install the drivers AMD apparently missing.

  May 14, last night I had several (automatically) downloaded windows update

  Today, I was unable to boot my computer with Windows - tried the disk check, start checks etc, and eventually had to use System Restore (for help before the critical update to restore).

  Perfection, everything works, but knowing that windows will attempt to redo an automatic update, tried to check online - no one seemed to have a problem and (naivly) thinking I could always do another restore of the system, I rebooted again.

  Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."

  I try to play a legitimate, belonging to DVD, but Windows Media Player 12 will not play on my computer Windows 7 Professional.  The DVD worked a few days ago, but all of a sudden, I get the following error message:

  "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD player and the video card protection decoder. Try to install a driver available for your video card.

  I did a lot of research of these forums and on the ' net.  Here are the suggested steps I tried without success:

  • I tried VLC player.  This works.  However, rather than use this workaround, I wish to find a solution to my problem WMP/WMC.
  • I tried several DVD for years over the last decade.  These DVD works on my laptop, also running Windows 7 Professional and the shark 007 codec.
  • I uninstalled my Shark 007 codec
  • I tried other codecs (K-Lite)
  • I assured that the latest drivers are installed on my video card, XFX ATI Radeon 5850
  • I tried to uninstall Nero 9
  • I tried to use the Windows 7 troubleshooting options:
  • > Reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu - ray (no problem)
  • > Windows Media Player DVD (no problem)
  • > Windows Media Player Settings (detects a problem, wants to restore factory settings, every time, no matter what happens)
  • A system restore to a time when the DVD was working did not resolve the issue
  • The different links in Microsoft, I found in this forum about this problem do not seem to be useful.  There is a link that points to the set-top boxes, but this page just says: "Windows 7 comes with a decoder.
  • I assured the latest driver is available by going to "Device Manager", right click on the drive, then click on "update driver software".
  • I assured that the latest firmware is installed directly from the manufacturer's website.
  • I tried to reset my DRM by renaming the DRM under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows folder and by going to this Web site to upgrade:http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1
  • I've uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Media Player 12 and Windows Media Center via the function "functionality in Windows.

  I would be very grateful if a Microsoft technology could chime.  Thanks for your help!

  If it's on the rectangular objects, you may have encountered the bug Rectangle Live which is limited to the MAC versions from 10.7 and 10.8, but not of 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Yosemite). If all goes well, the bug will be fixed soon.

  Thus, a switch for the Mavericks or Yosemite with a reinstall might be the way to solve it here and now.

  To get around it, in each case, it is possible to develop direct Rectangles to get the normal old shaped rectangles or Pathfinder > unit, or use the scale tool or the free transform tool.

  A more permanent way round that is to create normal old shaped rectangles, after running the free script created by Pawel, see this thread with download link:

• Strange problem with the keyboard event listener

  I have a full screen touch app. To close the application, I set an event listener on keyboard for the key "0". I don't want the press user due to some restrictions Alt + F4 key combination. Problems begin when the application loses focus. Here's the code;

• Problems with the script to output event

  In fact I don't know if I have a problem with the Exit event or if there is something wrong with my script syntax... The output of a field event, I check if the field is empty or not and check a flag I put in place.

  The first if statement works - if I get back a value in the field, everything goes as planned. If I delete the value of the field, nothing happens.

  There are a few groups radio button that also control this behavior, they are all inter relate. So I tried also triggers the Click event of a radiobutton Group (which resembles the value in this field) out of this area, but that doesn't seem to work.

  Your expression subFlags.Commercial.rawValue is true compares a String data type with a Boolean data type.

  Edit the expression as subFlags.Commercial.rawValue is 'true'
