• Weird problem with the google search on Safari 9.0.2

  Hi all

  I had a weird problem with Google on Safari recently. After that the search for something from the Google home page and search page is loaded, I can't be able to change or enter anything in the more the google search bar. I have to reload the page every time google to search something else. Google search worked fine on Firefox though.

  I use the latest version of Safari (9.0.2) and I tried clears all history data, and Web site, but nothing has worked so far. My Mac is running on OS X Yosemite so what counts.

  Can someone understand what is the problem?

  I really to add the DuckDuck search box to my broswe but the Google search box is still there. I tried to rermove it clicking on customize but not listed. I also went to add ons and its unlisted. For me, it looks like Firefox and Google have got togeter on this one. I wish I had the DuckDuch on my broswe Firefox search box. Any helpwould really appreciated

  The search bar just happens to have Google as default search engine.

  I don't know when it happened, but my info from Google to sync seamlessly across devices, and somewhere along the line, he stopped.  I noticed that the notes in the Notes application on my iPhone is no longer being matched the latest updates made since the MacBookAir, however Mail, Contacts and calendar seem to be very good synchronization of iPhone and MacBook Air.

  I tried various fixes on the iPhone, including the toggling of the bet for the Notes in Mail, Contacts, calendar > Gmail 'market' to 'off' and back on again, however the same outdated old notes showed once again.  This made me think of a problem with Google's data, however, why would mail, calendar and contact info be properly synchronize but not notes?  So much Mail, Contacts, calendars > Gmail I chose 'Delete account', then readded the account.

  Now in addition to the Notes not sync, my Google Calendar does not appear.  Mail and contacts still sync flawlessly.  Apple Contacts and calendar apps on MacBook Air always going fine synchronization.  File 'Notes' in Gmail doesn't seem to have the most recent version of Notes created on MacBook... I am lost and don't know where to start.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  This thread sets new calendar synchronization problem.  Don't know how, but at this point I don't like - just glad it worked.

  Re: notes synchronization problem - uncheck Notes of MacBook Air under accounts and then recheck their caused all the notes to get lost, as apparently they have not actually been synchronization throughout, but fortunately I had copied to iCloud.  Once turn on their return under Google accounts, all seem to be syncing to/from a computer and phone with questions.

  Hey guys, I have a problem with my Mozilla, whenever I have turn off my computer after using it. When I turn it back on, all my history, cookies, saved pages have disappeared. It's like, I connect to facebook, after that I turned on my computer again. I have to connect again and again and again. I don't really know what is happening to her. Hope I can get solutions.

  and saw two buttons to switch the value of the 'State' to 'Normal' or 'photo', it resizes the component properly to the small size, but that goes back to the smaller size to the largest size, it does not play the transition. It just makes small to large immediately.

  The strange thing is, however, that if I use a tag < s:HGroup > instead of < s:TileGroup > it works like a charm, so I guess that's not so much the custom component or skin that is causing problems.

  When I put the transition of the size of the component itself instead of in her skin, then it works as expected, but I think that transitions should be defined in the skin and not in the component itself, right?

  It took me a while to realize it was.  TileLayout organises its elements in a grid of 'cells' and each cell is the same size (the size of the largest component).  Then, each element is placed in its own cell because the horizontalAlign/verticalAlign properties.  By default, TileLayout a horizontalAlign = justify which means that extends the element to the size of the cell.  In order to have an effect of resizing plays on the skin of the element does not really have any effect.  He gets to work when the shrinkage, but fails more and larger, I guess because the increase in the width of an element affects all cells, while the lower has not.

  So I think the right thing to do here is to either wrap a group around the Rect and mentioned target that you like, or the TileGroup.horizontalAlign left/center/right value.

  I posted a 3 weeks ago and 9 people have also had this problem, but still no answer. My problem was that FF 5 open is no longer the pdf in the browser window and will not only install the patch supply, Dafizilla ViewSourceWith and greys on menu bar.

  Here are the steps I have done on my own system, several months ago. I could not view PDF files in Firefox with Adobe Reader and installed Foxit.

  1. Closing of Firefox (file > button OR exit Firefox > exit)
  2. If you don't the have not already done so, uninstall Adobe Reader 9.4.5 using Windows start > settings > Control Panel > add or remove programs, click the item, click on delete. You may need to restart your system.
  3. Open Foxit in your list of programs Windows start > programs
     • in the menu of Foxit, click Tools > Preferences
     • Click File Associations and be sure "view IN browser" is checked 'Make default PDF Viewer' and click OK
     • Foxit Reader nearby (File > Exit)
  4. Launch Firefox
     • Open the Control Panel Applications (Tools > Options > Applications OR Firefox button > Options > Options > Applications)
     • type of the pdf in the search box; You should see "PDF Foxit Reader"
     • in the Action column, click on the arrow down to the right end
     • Choose "use Foxit Reader plugin for Mozilla (in Firefox).
       • If the full name is not displayed, move the cursor to see the full name in a ToolTip box
  5. Test on a PDF from the internet
     • If there is no toolbar at the top of the display PDF in the tab (just a blue band), press the F8 key to get the basic tools bar, or do a right-click the blue top for display/no strip show other toolbars by clicking on it (checked = display;) UN - check = not displayed)

  Google should not redirect more once you have visited the Google.com site, either by clicking on the link Google.com (setprefdomain? prefdom = US) at the bottom of the Japanese page or through the /ncr switch.

  Make sure that you keep cookies and perhaps local storage as well.

• Can I get the Firefox search bar for not automatically, go to the site of the search engine I spend?

  The Firefox search bar seems to have changed since the last update. I understand that things are changing constantly and get used to them, but I wonder if it is possible to change the rear bar to the way it was, or at least understand why it changed.

  Basically, I used to be able to switch from search engines by choosing from the drop-down list, and would not put me right at the site of this search engine. He didn't actually bring me to the site once I hit the search button (or enter). It's quite annoying to have to remember to open a new tab before changing search engines in order to avoid sailing away from the tab that you are currently on, and it's also annoying that when you open a new tab and change the search engines, you are immediately taken to the site of this search engine.   In summary, it seems that the Firefox team is not intend to bring back the ability to return to the old bar search, which was possible (but in a very biased way) in older versions of 42. For now, you can either:

  • Download module additional classic restaurateur theme to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/?src=ss and then select the old search option
  • Go back to Firefox 42 and set the browser.search.showOneOffButtons property in Subject: config. However, with older versions poses a risk to the security that you won't have bug fixes provided with version 43
