Hello

Step 1:
Knights of the Old Republic II, Sith lords and Star wars are not compatible with Windows 7, you'll have questions by playing. However, you can try to run the game in Vista compatibility mode and see if that helps

Step 2:
Vista compatibility mode, follow there steps mentioned below:
(a) run the installer in compatibility mode:
(b) make a right click the icon of the file installation.
(c) click on Properties, go to compatibility.
(d) select the compatibility mode for Windows vista.
(e) click OK .
(f) run the installer.

If the steps above do not help, you can contact the manufacturer of the game for further assistance.

  • Problems with the old version of Acrobat?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, so feel free to another place direct me.

I created an Access application that uses a database as a source to create emails with attached custom PDF Forms. Everything works fine on my PC but when I tried to apply it on the target machine, everything turned to custard. When I try to run I get the message "no Acrobat serial number valid. found Acrobat stops now. »

I see that I have all the correct references. The only difference between the two environments is home, I have Acrobat 9 and the target has Acrobat 7. I looked on the web, but none of the sites I've found seems to fit my situation.

I guess Acrobat 7 is too old, but go to the DC Acrobat subscription is not really an option.

    Can anyone offer suggestions/ideas?

Thanks for the replies. I've got it sorted. After watching a little more closely and did a little more research, I discovered that the issue has been entirely with Acrobat 7. This situation seems to occur when you install a later version of Acrobat (same drive). It's more complex than that, but it's essential. He never appeared in the normal course of events because these days, they (the club I belong to and made the application for) use Reader to read the files PDF and CutePDF to print to PDF. All this turned to custard when I tried to call the API of Acrobat. I had to uninstall Acrobat 7 and try to reinstall it from the original CS2 diskettes. Because it is so old the activation server no longer. However Adobe gives links to versions that can be installed without activation until you have a valid serial number. Good I thought. Downloaded and installed, but he would not accept the serial number of the CS2 DVD. Oh! I managed to find a serial number online which has been accepted, so now it all workers.
What a carry-on! Fairly typical of how Adobe works these days, unfortunately.

  • Reclassification of CS3 to CS5.  Problems with the old file.

I design a monthly publication, which is always started from an InDesign template.  This template has been created in CS3 and Incopy all links have been created using CS3 as well.

We have upgraded to CS5 today and now we are unable to connect to these stories.  Here is the error message:

"This story must be converted to the format"InCopy Document"in order to change it."

Should I dissociate and create a new InCopy Documents or is there a quick way to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

    I don't know, I think it's pretty fast.

    Open the file in CS3.

Select all the stories in the Panel assignments (shift-click to get them all). -10 seconds

Click the icon to break the (trash) link at the bottom of the Panel. -1 second

Close the file in CS3, do a save as w/a different name if you wish. -5 seconds

Open the CS3 to CS5. Save or save as. -20-30 seconds (depending on the size)

(Personally, at this stage, even if I was not using InCopy, I would still be exporting to IDML and then reopen it in ID CS5, by saving the document without title with another name, since you are skipping a few versions.) But it is not necessary. If you do, add another minute).

Choose Edition > InCopy > export all stories, 10-20 seconds, depending on how much it must export.

The end. It is 2 minutes, Yes?

Go to Preferences > Interface > user interface scaling and see if 200% is checked.

If so, uncheck the box and see if that fixes the problem.

I got a copy of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which I ran on my PC with Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and I decided to install the same on my current laptop that has Windows 7 now. However, when you successfully install it in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2), I run the application too in the same compatibility mode. But it gives me the following message is displayed:

I would be grateful if you could shed some light on this error.

I talked to your answers on the similar problem. However, in my case I don't reach even the main menu of the game.

Please note that I do not install this game on my laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate.

Thank you very much in anticipation

    syb1987

    Hello syb1987,

As Meghmala mentioned, the game is listed as being fully compatible, however:

    (1) you can try to run the game in different compatibility modes to determine is that they work.

    (2) have you installed XP Mode? Try maybe to install XP Mode and install the game in the virtual environment.

    (3) you can find others on the forums for this game in particular who were lucky in getting the game to properly install and run better.

    Hope this heps

  • Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 2 keep crash error "stoppage of work".

I recently downloaded a copy of Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 2 and have had any other questions. The first issues was a message that kept telling me that I had the wrong disc inserted any disc I've used. I have not downloaded any crack disk and got that the fixed part. Now, the game keeps the work stoppage and must be closed. Sometimes she does on the logos, the main menu or I even made with regard to creating a character then right after that the words are made to scroll it crashes. This has been extremely frustrating and I would appreciate any help with this. I use windows 8, have 4 GB of RAM ddr3 and Intel HD graphics.

  • Satellite C50-A-1 - game "Star Wars: the old Republic ' is lagging

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite C series. (C50-A-1 more specficly).
Problem is when I downloaded star wars: the old Republic, the game lags badly.

The graphics in the game are set in the lowest possible to minimize lags and yet I still get them. Here's some info of dxdiag, although they should be known for this type of laptop, I suppose that:

    OS: 64-bit windows 8.1
Processor: 2.13 GHz (2 CPUs) (Intel, Celeron)
    memory: 4096 MB
    DirectX 11

Please help with it as soon as possible thank you

Have you already checked the hardware requirements to play this game smoothly?

C50-A-1 satellite was equipped with an internal Intel HD graphics card.
This GPU is part of the Intel CPU and to be honest, this isn t graphics card designed for purposes of games.

To play games smoothly, you need a laptop nVIdia or ATI graphics cards.

  • Getting kicked to the Office of games like Star Wars The Old Republic...

So I have an app I think which is kick off games... Well I play only 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3. When I'm playing SWTOR, he kick me on the desk. Let me be clear though, it crashes, because I can get back in the game with Alt + Tab or by clicking on the icon. Now, the only thing I installed was Ninite. For those who don't know, that ninite is an open application source that will update all the programs selected for you with these programs, they are ones I asked to put up-to-date. Firefox, Chrome, Silverlight, Air, Java, Java x 64, Shockwave, uTorrent, 7-Zip, steam, Auslogics, Skydrive, VLC, Spotify, Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, iTunes, .NET, Google Earth, Malwarebyte s, Ad-Aware and Spybot 2.

I made sure that I turned off all auto scan on their part, but I'm still getting kicked on the desk during playback of SWTOR. When I play Battlefield 3, it's as if he's trying to throw out me, but he goes out only for a second and then returns to the game. It's REALLY annoying especially when SWTOR reading, because the game is so huge that even my computer rather fast takes a few seconds of rear loading. It's do or die during playback of PvP in SWTOR and something like that means you're going to die, if you play in PvP.

I don't know what else it could be, because these are programs (actually Ninite) was installed before what is happening. I actually had this problem before with SWTOR, but this happened only from time to time, and by that I mean maybe once a week so no biggie. Now, this happens on every 30 minutes or more. I'm just guessing.

If I knew the offending program, I either disable or uninstall. I've looked in Task Manager and can not find one that is, because TM it does not show as a running application. That said, I do not know there is a process running for it, but I don't know what it is. It's not like I can look in the newspapers because it is not an error. Someone has ideas how to identify the offending program?

BTW, I went into MSCONFIG and disabled everything except essential programs like Antivirus support, keyboard and mouse etc. I don't even have Ad-Aware or Spybot from and these services are set to manual, but it seems logical that he is one of them.

TL; DR: I get kicked to the desktop while playing SWTOR and cannot know which program is the cause.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks, yes I did.  I found it was my antivirus.  Somehow, it became corrupted and I think he tried to update literally all the time.  For some reason, it only affected Battlefield 3 and 4 and The Old Republic.  Norton Internet Security is 2013.  I have always used Norton, but I now have NIS 2014.

Norton was originally the best and then he got very swollen from 2005 to 2012 all about, but they are now very good again and one of the best.  He now has a very small footprint and it uses very few resources and it is excellent protection.  I guess BitDefender is THE best right now, but it is also a big memory eater.  In any case, I think it was just a bug they set now.
