Problem with the update of the registration form

I have a registration form to update that uses a < cfquery > function and has (among other areas), an optional file input field and two separate fields to specify the file name and the file type. I don't get any errors when I submit the form, but it does not update the record and not redirects to the page specified in the < cflocation > function. Instead, it reloads the page updated with all the deleted values record. The cfquery function is copied below. Any ideas what I'm missing? I am relatively new to CF and sql, but comparing to other forms of record update I have for other tables, I can't find a problem.

Okay, so I rebuilt the page, and it worked. When I compared both versions it looks like when I did a montage for the sql, I had a bit of redundant code in the form that would throw things off. Thanks for all your help!

Dan, with regard to the two types of variables, the URL variable that's so I can fill in the form with the data in the existing record. Here's the process:

-Main page has a link to change the content, which is identified by the ID number.

-The link change calls the form of update: content_editor.cfm? recordID = #ID #.

-A queries on the calls page of content_editor.cfm for the data Records using the url variable (because at this point, it is the only remaining identifier from the previous page) to fill out the form.

-A second query updates the record on form.

If there is another way to do it, I don't know. I left Dreamweaver show me one way, and then I adapted this method to a couple updated various registration forms. I'm certainly open to other suggestions!

    Looks like you can have your email in places where your customers email should be.

  • Problem with the registration of a Microsoft Publisher Document

    I encountered a problem with save a Microsoft Publisher document in PDF format.  I built the file with color photographs and then recorded then I changed inside page photography photographs black and white and registered with the designation of BW in the title.  I have the file in two forms: one is full color, and the second is a combination of color and black and white.  When I save the file with the black and white photos inside as a PDF, it saves as color.  No matter what I do, they keep coming to the top of color.

    I thinI think that your problem was caused by an update. Not Adobe software, not Windows, but for the Publisher. Logical, since the Publisher deploys the file.     1 if this is the case in many applications, then it seems to be a problem of Windows 7 rather than an application problem.  The window that appears correctly a component of Windows 7 that is running SFC is appropriate.

    Is there a constraint of time return on registration of a CTMS to CTSMan.  We have 2 CTMS on Slough, United Kingdom and the other in Ohio, United States.  Our CTSMan is also in Slough.  The Ohio CTMS base seems to be okay at the beginning, but then the errors appear where CTSMan said Community trade marks could not authenticate.   The credentials are correct, so my suspicion is that CTSMan expects that there will be a recognition of the Ohio CTMS fast he is received (the round trip time is 109ms)

    If 109ms is RTT of the Ohio CTMS CTM in Slough, which should be good.  Finally, I checked the default deadline for registration was two seconds.

    In your CTS-Manager, you have your servers of CTM is entered with the IP address or host name?  CTS-Manager/CMTS is configured with specific DNS servers?  CTS-Manager/CTMS versions (I assume you're in 1.7 or 1.8 on both)?

    A more common cause of what you describe is lack of DNS. Make sure you have your DNS servers configured to solve for the CTM in Ohio, in addition to the MLC to Slough.  Periodic audits are are on the Community trade mark and of Community trade marks.  It is in Chapter 8 of our of CTS-Manager Install/Admin guide:

    You can issue "utils network host" from the CLI of the CTS Manager, and "utils network host the CLI of CTM to see if either fail to solve.»

    Also, make sure that the appropriate ports are open between the CTMs and CTM (if the servers are secure and it is a new installation, I would definitely check this). Here is the list of ports:

    The basic forms do not allow customizations such as the validation of specific entry as numbers only models. You would need a BC Pro account for that. The rest, we can't really tell without having the exact error message and the exact structure of the form. Screenshots are not much use when you do not include the properties / settings for fields.

    I have the following problem:

    I automatically stores the datetime values in a date column "changed_on", whenever a user saves a form.

    Unfortunately, when I show this value in a form or report, only the correct date is shown. Still, the time is 00:00. There is no time in the database value, too.

    Whenever a user clicks the save button in my form, the value of "changed_on" is generated by a calculation that returns "sysdate" (see image below).

    I think I tried everything now, but I can't understand how to record the date and time correctly. I already tried the format for the changed_on field mask to my preferred format, but it does nothing (jj. MM YYYY HH24).

    How can I automatically record the date and time?

    You need two things.

    1. put the mask of the P3_CHANGED_ON element to JJ. MM YYYY HH24

    2. change your source of calculation to

    TO_CHAR (sysdate, ' DD.) MM YYYY HH24 ')

    In this way, what holds the element and implicit conversion happens when recording records will match.
