• How to solve a problem with my user account in Windows 7

  I recently downloaded several drivers for Windows XP and I installed one or more of these factors so that I could transfer to a USB key to install on an XP laptop. I think that this may have damaged my user accounts. When I click on the images and music files, has more listed files. In addition, a second HARD drive installed on my Windows 7 CPU is no longer accessible after that I tried to fix. 2nd HARD drive was accessible in Windows Explorer, but my music application (iTunes) could not read the music library file (content in 1 disk HARD music folder) or he could access the music files and media.

  After doing some research on this forum, I've decided that I have can I have inadvertently installed a trogan horse or a virus who disguised himself as a windows driver.   Here's what I did: 1) I have done a full using Microsoft Security Essentials scan and the latest version of McAfee and no problems were detected, 2) I tried to change the permissions on the 2nd HARD drive and I don't even now to access the disk in Windows Explorer, 3) that I deleted the account virtualapp/didlogical in the credentials manager (4) I changed the password for my user account, which is default and administrator privileges.
  In my list of user account, there are 4 accounts or groups: authenticated users (I don't remember why it's here), SYSTEM ("'"), (MyUserName\Administrators) administrators, users (MyUserName\Users). I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1.
  (My questions are 1) what is the best way to correct the user account so that my music and photos are in the user accounts, files and 2) what happens if another remedy would be the community suggests to determine if I have a horse trogan or installed virus.
  Before you remove user or group accounts, or any other changes, I thought I'd see if anyone else has had this problem and what should I do if all the remedies have been used to solve problems.
  Any guidance or advice would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  Thanks for posting to the wealth of information you did. To answer your questions, I recommend a person as follows:

  (1) create a new user account, set up exactly as you wish. Then compare it to the existing and corrupt user account, the user account corrupted attachment according to the article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

  (2) for the removal of malicious software that is not catch an antivirus application, I recommend two malware scanners:

  Malwarebytes': http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware.shtml ;  and,

  SuperAntiSpyware: http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html (use the link Direct download only).

  Followed by two "second opinions" on the antivirus application (both are online scanners):

• I have a problem with the administrator account.

  Original title: administrator account is down: no-show to secure boot, will not take password (no defined) to allow facilities. What now?

  I am the only user on my PC Windows 7 Home Premium and have been using it until as recently as an administrator. After learning that it was better to use a standard-privileges account yesterday, I went to the user accounts and brought a few changes, which I am not convinced that I remember exactly, but which provided for the creation of a new account administrator called "Administrator", giving this account a profile picture and changing my personal account with standard privileges. I may have set the password of the new account to be the same as the former, or may not have specified a password, but I know that I didn't not create a new password. Anyway, now I can't do anything that requires administrator privileges.  When the window opens to allow an action preferred by logging in as 'Administrator', or my old password or all simply hit the "Enter" button works. I know that this is the administrator account, I created, because there the thumbnail profile photo that I assigned to him. A used computer scientist Ophcrack successfully, which correctly specified the password of my account now-standard and said that the password of the administrator account was nothing.   When changes to an administrator account, then the safe way goes like this:

  1. Create, test, and document an admin account to spare, even you have a spare House key.
  2. Change your normal administrator account according to your needs.

  If you don't take these precautions, then you can do this:
  1. Use your repair Windows CD to start the machine in Repair Mode.
  2. Use system restore to set Windows to a point before you did what you did.

• Problems with the Forums account

  I just logged into the forums using the http://communities.VMware.com/home.jspa url and I noticed that my last login date is October 24, 2008.  Then I noticed that my points are in 1819, which means that I have not accumulated any new points since this time either.  Is there a way, or someone who can check my account/profile working?

  During this time, I was getting a rash of warnings of 1530 open handle.

  Here are the steps:
  1. Create a new admin account.
  2. Log in under a non-administrator account.
  3. Try running msconfig.exe. You will face a challenge of UAC.
  4. Use the newly created admin account to respond to the challenge.
     This process will create the registry key and the profile for the admin account folder.
  5. Open a session under the new admin account. It should work.
  6. Downgrade the new admin account if you wish.

• Problem with the user after reinstalling the unit account

  Initial Setup druing the motherboard is dead so I had to reinstall everything. I have a user who has been associated with the installation of the old unit and now I can not add to the new system of the unit. If I do a search for users and check the box "all servers of the unit" I see the old user, but cannot access it. I am running 4.0 (4) unit with Unified Messaging and exchange 2000 on another server. Anyone know of a way to get the user dissociated with the old server, so I can add a new?

  OK, try this.

  Open GSM, right-click on the name of the server. Select import user (I know it does not make sense). Find the windows account, right-click on it, remove the Subscriber Properties.

  Last resort

  Open adsiedit using the \commserver\techtools\adsiedit.msc command

  (You may need to register the dll - "regsvr.exe adsiedit.dll")

  Search for count windows, then right click to get the properties of the windows account.

  Look for the attribute ciscoEcsbuUMLocationObjectId to the account.

  CAREFUL with this step because you are about to destroy the subsriber unit properties. Make sure you have the correct account. If you do, click CLEAR to delete the attribute CiscoEcsbuUMLocationObjectId of the unit

  After clearing, you should be able to import the account.

  to be honest I don't know if the administrator account is enabled.

  You have fallen into a popular trap, the trap of not plan and create an alternative emergency admin account, even if you have a spare emergency House key. It's now cause you a lot of grief. If the problem occurred recently, then you can resolve as follows:

  1. Use your repair Windows CD to start the machine in Repair Mode.
  2. Invoke the system restore to configure Windows to a point before the problem occurred.
  3. Plan in advance and create, test, and document this absolutely essential spare admin account.

  If this does not work then send me a note (pegasusDOTfnlATgmailDOTcom).

  I turned on our computer and clicked on my profile which is also be the administrator account and the computer says "service profile Service user has no connection" "could not load the user profile.

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

• Problems with the Google account sync on iPhone

  running iOS on iPhone 9.3.2 and 10.11.15 El Capitan on MacBook Air.

  I don't know when it happened, but my info from Google to sync seamlessly across devices, and somewhere along the line, he stopped.  I noticed that the notes in the Notes application on my iPhone is no longer being matched the latest updates made since the MacBookAir, however Mail, Contacts and calendar seem to be very good synchronization of iPhone and MacBook Air.

  I tried various fixes on the iPhone, including the toggling of the bet for the Notes in Mail, Contacts, calendar > Gmail 'market' to 'off' and back on again, however the same outdated old notes showed once again.  This made me think of a problem with Google's data, however, why would mail, calendar and contact info be properly synchronize but not notes?  So much Mail, Contacts, calendars > Gmail I chose 'Delete account', then readded the account.

  Now in addition to the Notes not sync, my Google Calendar does not appear.  Mail and contacts still sync flawlessly.  Apple Contacts and calendar apps on MacBook Air always going fine synchronization.  File 'Notes' in Gmail doesn't seem to have the most recent version of Notes created on MacBook... I am lost and don't know where to start.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  This thread sets new calendar synchronization problem.  Don't know how, but at this point I don't like - just glad it worked.

  Re: notes synchronization problem - uncheck Notes of MacBook Air under accounts and then recheck their caused all the notes to get lost, as apparently they have not actually been synchronization throughout, but fortunately I had copied to iCloud.  Once turn on their return under Google accounts, all seem to be syncing to/from a computer and phone with questions.

• Cannot print PDF files with the user account, can with the other.

  Windows 7, drive 11, when logged in as a user, I can't print PDF.  No errors, no waiting in line, other types of files / print very well.  If I connect with a different domain account, PDF s print very well.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled drive, went out something about player since the users profile/user files.

  It turns out that if I uncheck "enable protected at Startup Mode" in preferences (enhanced protection), it prints, with he verified that it will not print.  I checked it on my desktop and I can print, is not wise, but well, I at least that user back up and printing PDF once again.

• Office 2007 security updates do not settle on XP SP3. Manual installation with the user account via the Web site to download works. But when the same file is launched via a regular command prompt, it fails again.

  When the update is installed manually it can also not be removed from the "Add/Remove Programs" dialog box (as here again the system seems to start the real uninstall process)

• Problem with the administrator account of the domain on Windows 2008 servers

  After changing our domain admin password, all servers 2008 report on the account locked when you try to connect.  The account shows not locked in AD.  2003 servers are not affected.  Anyone can shed some light on this problem?
