  What? Why you'd be wasting your time?

  You are only it lose on your screen because you do not specify any it correctly to display. Internally the date data type is always a moment but it defautls to 00:00:00 if you don't provide information in time on the initial to_date.

  Variable data type date or a timestamp (pontentially with time zone) or is the target table?

  Just format the string in the buffer expected time format and use to_timestamp on it, if the target is a timestamp.

• How to get the timestamp to start at zero hours?

• Microsoft Photo Viewer memory problem / unable to print images... (2 questions)

  The other day I tried to print a photo (.jpg file) color - so I deactivated the "Print in grayscale" checkbox in the properties of the printer (just like always).

  But after clicking on the OK/Print button in the Print Wizard Photo, 4 the same error windows pop up.

  I hate this chime late trying to solve this problem, but I had the exactly the same problem (per month) and finally resolved.

  What has not worked:

  • Reinstall Windows 7 as an upgrade on the spot.
  • Upgrade to Windows 8 (improved the situation, but did not fix)

  What makes:

  • Create a new user account, it set until I transferred the old user account settings.
  • Set the color management settings.

  Before you reinstall, I suggest to create a new user account and try printing once logged into the new account. If the photo printing Wizard works when logged in with a user account, the problem is specific to the settings for the user account with the problem.

  To check the color management settings try this:

  • Click Start
  • Color in the search box type
  • Click on color management in the results of the research
  • Click the Advanced tab
  • Make a note of any settings that do not start with the system default
  • Change all settings that are not listed as default from system to system default
  • Close the color management dialog box and try again the Print Wizard

  In my case it was a colour profile Adobe corrupted causing the problem.

  You can try by providing default values in the calc script. Given that the values passed through MAXl will override default. Also, make sure that RUNTIMESUBVARS uppercase.

• ODI timestamp question

  We have a source Date column data type (Oracle 10 g).
  When we used the select date table - the output looks like 17-SEPT-10 08:02:32 '
  
  In the target, the data type of date column is also Date (Oracle 10 g)...
  It's a match one-to-one... after the execution of the interface, if we check the column date 17-SEPT-10 12:00 ', for all records, we get the same format.

  I don't know about you but,
  It there a while we saw a problem with our dates between source and target DB (two 10g).
  When the source, there was HH24:MI:SS filled out correctly, in the target, there was always 00:00:00.
  It produces only when we were loading the data from one server to the other (never when the source and target are on the same server).

  It really looks like your question...

  After some research it seems comes from our JDBC (Thin one) driver...

  To fix this, I add a property in topology whenever I use this JDBC url.
  For each database server I add the following property on the Properties tab:
  Key = oracle.jdbc.V8Compatible
  Value = true

  Maybe you can try with this...

  I apologize if this has been answered before but I am quite new to PL/SQL, and I came to a small problem.
  
  We use Timestamp (6) for our date and columns when you make updates on these via Update instructions I get a warning when I compile. I understand why I update a timestamp column with a systimestamp that contains the time zone information. Is it possible to update the timestamp with the value systimestamp columns without compilation warnings?
  
  I tried to use cast (systimestamp as timestamp (6)) in the update statement nothing helps, the only way to get around this, I have found is to put the systimestamp in a variable of type timestamp, then use that in an update statement, I do not know it is the right way to do thins so the question.

• PCIe-6537 County in ANSI C sample clock

  I want to get the precise times of the edges on 32 digital lines using a card PCIe-6537. The card should have a sample of 50 MHz clock (minimum and 200 MHz/N N is 4). So if I can get a count of the sample clock when the any lines going from low to high, I know the time at a resolution of 20ns. Each line should have a transition from bass up per second. They should all be synchronized, it is possible that more than one line will have an advantage in the same sample clock signal.

  I'm programming in Visual C++ with the DAQmx ANSI C API.

  What I've tried so far, I think I need to put in place two DAQmx tasks: one to count the sample clock and one to detect transitions on the i/o 32 lines. The next problem after that is the task of transition to trigger a capture of a county on the first task.

  But I can't even set up a counter stain. I think I need to call DAQmxCreateCICountEdgesChan() to create a channel for the sample clock. The example code I found (Mult_Counters_Count_Dig_Start_Trig_TIO.c) sets the name of the channel to counter with a constant:

  As for performance, I can personally attest that I have listened 12 SMU-6537 at the maximum rate (50 MHz) with 32 lines on the disc.  It seems there a configuration delivers in this case
