  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

  4 AppWorld must close.

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

  I just got a new blackberry tour and I'm having a heck of a travel time of new applications I downloaded my homepage. I downloaded three apps and managed to move to the homepage without problem by clicking the blackberry button and selecting 'move to the House. It is very clear and I understand the concept.

  But for some reason I can't move all the other apps. I can't move my facebook application because there is no option for "move to home page" or "move". Pandora and all these applications are found in my world in the app world Black Berry.

  Can someone help me? Maybe I'm missing something simple

  You should be able to move the applications to help move the folder then choosing the folder you want where you w\ant to move the.

  Try the following-

  Have a traction battery device reset

  check by changing the theme

  You should be able to download appworld from www.blackberry.com/appworld is one where you navigate to?

  You can check this too.  While in the browser, press the menu key and go to Options.  In the Configuration of the browser, you should see a line "browser Identification".  Make sure that is set to "BlackBerry".

  Hey I'm new to blackberry. I have problems to make BBM to work. I installed it from APP world several times and it never shows in the download folder. If I go in MYWORLD it says installed, if I click on one button execution is present as well as screenshots, details etc. happens but it does nothing when I click on it. Ive rebooted several times, tried to remove and install several times and nothing. If I go to settings > Applications in my BB it is nowhere to be found, either. What should I do

  Go to Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the Messenger app and do not click it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

  Now, do a restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

  After installation and reboot if necessary, check your instant messaging, or downloads of the application folder.

  If a battery pull reboot is unable to resolve, then please try again as mentioned:

  First on your homescreen to Options > device > application > then scroll down to the World App delete App World from there. After it perform a reboot of pull battery as mentioned on the post. From your BlackBerry browser or type www.blackberry.com/appworld then click download again.

  Please try and see if that solves your problem.

  I have a new BB and a few applications downloaded via laptop computer.  But I can't seem to load via BDM, they are not recognized as apps. Those that I downloaded via OTA is recognized on the BB device, but I can't get to work, they will not even appear in the BDM Add - in Module Configuration, list when I try to sync with my laptop.

  The applications are made for BB OS "BOLD" (e.g. the most recent version of SplashID.)

  BB Bold 9700 / device Code BDM 5.0.0.x / 5.0.1.37

  Carrier: Swisscom (Switzerland)

  I'm sure it's something simple. Can you help me?

  I have a Torch 9800 (OS 6 2534 on network three UK) and often the screen does not auto rotation (when the phone is rotated 90 degrees) and the virtual keyboard is grayed out in the messaging and BBM. If sometimes seems again (seems random) and after a power off. The physical keyboard is not extended and locked.

  Anyone know of a fix or a workaround to ensure that VK and auto screen rotate reliable works?

  I called ATT and they tell me that I need to contact the previous owner and have him remove his code PIN and IMEI of cellular phones e-mail address. Is there anyway that I can do it myself?

  Yes, you can call you ATT and ask them to release the ANKLE from the old account.

  Explain that you have purchased the device. Be nice, they do not have to do it for you, but they will be IF you explain that you need. Don't tell them that you need unlocked, you only need the output PIN.

  Go to options-made scroll to theme - menu key - download themes tracball

  There are also themes all over the web.  Just point your browser to the sites.  Themes can be installed OTA (over-the-air) or by download on your desktop and installation.

  Hello. I searched the forums and do not see an answer to my particular problem so I hope someone can help out me. If there is already an answer to this question, please point me in the right direction. All the posts I've read mainly referred to apps stuck at "Starting download"... "and nothing on that I read the threads deadlock downloads already underway.

  Here's the problem:

  I tried to download AP Mobile the other day via App Workd (v. 1.1.0.24) and for some reason any download stagnates on 197 k 335 k and seems to be stuck here no matter what I try to do. I tried all the possible corrections that I have read in other posts, as do a battery pull, send me the link of the App World on my PC, etc, and nothing does. I tried to make a break and the resumption of a dozen times or more. I have more an option to download the app when I go to it via App World, through my camera. I tried to uninstall/reinstall App World. I don't know what else to do?

  Y at - it a magic trick hidden to cancel the download, or somehow out of it to restart?

  I was able to download/install any other applications without any problem. Even as this, we are still 'active '. Strange.

  Why App World gives users the possibility to cancel/restart in the first place?

  Does anyone have suggestions or options for me please?

  Hi, I do not use Appworld so I will be not specific, but please search again on this forum about the answers that talk about Appworld and clearing the cache of the AppWorld using Alt (sequence of the RST. That should erase the portion of Setup that you have already downloaded and let you start the installation from scratch.

  I have a Blackberry Bold 9780.I live in India and got the phone of the Australia.

  I tried to download an app "diamond Rush" available on the AppWorld to 0.99USD (Rs.37 INR), but when I clicked on the link for the purchase, it says "the item is not available for your model of camera, device OS, carrier and country combination."

  Please advice how to get the App (Game). My carrier is Bharti Airtel.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  The message must be taken on its face... via AppWorld, which is not available due to one (or several) reasons in the message. If you are able to get other applications very well and the reason is NOT your phone model or the operating system, then this message is a 'one off' and you might be able to find other sources. The best method is to look up, in AW, the developer... then look for otherwise, how they are distributors their app (often, the developer will have a web site that their own which you might be able to get it). Otherwise, your favorite internet search engine could provide that you lead.

  AppWorld is simply a portal, vending machines for applications developed by others... therefore, it is only rarely a source of exclusive supply.

  Let me to this Counsellor... Once you have downloaded an app from AppWorld, even if you are not invited to do, once the app is installed, make a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
