Problems installing Acrobat DC

I downloaded on iMac OX 10 El Capitan running.  When I try to install, the icon just bounces off the menu bar below.  After a few minutes, it stops, but nothing has been installed.  He never developed when it asks for my password of the computer (which is step 4 in the Adobe help instructions).  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

I would like to inform you that Acrobat 9.5.5 is not compatible with your version of the operating system.

To view the e-statement, you can try to download the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    My suggestion would be,

    1. check on the other machine, if the Setup program installs, if not it will most likely a corrupted Installer.

2 and where in the other machine, it is installed. So can you send me the newspaper MSI of the machine where the installation is to run error.

You can search on the web on how to enable MSI logging

  • Please help me understand the problem installing Acrobat Standard Xl with C++?

I have an error message: "Visual C ++ 2010 (x 64) Runtime missing: Insralling Acrobat via MSI will not install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (x 64) SP1 runtime." With this, some features of the application will not work. You can try to install using set.exe if not already done. Press OK to ignore and continue nevertheless or Cancel to stop the installation. »

I went to the Adobe help page on this topic. I tried to install the Microsoft C++ via the link, and a message simply offers a repair, which I chose. That made no difference - same error message when I try to install Acrobat.

I do not understand because I see that I tried indeed to install using setup.exe - according to the directives of the disc. I couldn't find the vc - red.msi in VC10RT_x64 to re - install...

Can someone help me with what to do else? I'm not an irritable person, just someone trying to do things...

Put the CD and cancel the automatic installer.

Use Windows Explorer to examine the contents of the CD, find the Setup.exe and then run that. I don't know if that will fix it, but that's my point of view on what the message says.

  • Problems installing Acrobat 6.0 and 7.0.

    Hello

Acrobat customer services are useless to this subject and told to ask about it here.

    I am running windows 8.1

After the death of my old laptop I can't launch the program it gives following error messages.

I installed and unsintalled 6.0 and 7.0 and the installer provided by the service to the customer. Makes no difference. I still get the same message.

    I'm going crazy please help:

    What installation says:

WARNING 20225. Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Setup was unable to create a new item!

    Printer Adobe pdf port.

Adobe PDF printer may be unavailable.

    GetLastError: The operation completed successfully.

then he said: it is installed. Finishing.

the program then goes and puts links on desktop etc, but

When you run the program, then he said:

    Acrobat.exe application error.

The application failed to start properly (0xc0000fd).

Click ok to close the application.

Acrobat 6 and 7 are compatible only with versions of Windows to the top thanks to Windows XP, 32-bit only.

Technology driver for Windows changed starting with Windows Vista. Combined with problems of 64-bit driver interfaces, the Acrobat 6 and 7 products absolutely can not install and work correctly with the newer versions of Windows. The first version of Acrobat that works with Windows Vista and higher, as well as 64-bit Windows versions is Acrobat 8.1.

If you run Windows 8.x, you really need a newer version of Acrobat. The first version of Acrobat that provides official support for Windows 8.x is 11 Acrobat (no longer available).

For your new computer Windows 8.1, we would recommend that you register Acrobat DC.

    I would like to help!

You talk about a subscription to creative cloud? If so - that's all work online and there is no need for a SN. Could you send me your Bill directly? My email address is: [email protected]. This way I can find it for you.

  • Problem installing Acrobat

I installed successfully the creative suite, but I got this error message: ERROR: DW050:-Acrobat X Pro: installation failed. How should I proceed with the installation of Acrobat?

You must also enable the other parties to the CS as I understand it, before you can complete the installation and activation of Acrobat. You should be able to get more information on this process of the CS forum. I am simply repeating what I remember hearing.

It's very frustrating because I don't seem to get information on the site of Adobe referring to this question.
