Unable to sign no function keyboard or mouse :(

I read that many of same issues reported by other participants in their positions, although they appear slightly different, and here's why. I briefly restored function several times simply through the persevering, start SafeMode (sometimes only works). Most of the time but when I try to start my Win7 64 bit PC, the mouse is that are no longer as is the keyboard. They are both wireless and changed the batteries. I suspect a problem in a recent OS update, however, had hoped that I had worked around it through system restore resolves nothing, although I thought it was because he worked for two days. I'm pretty focused on technique (tech appliance business), but still refers to my base of knowledge as a novice when it comes to software. Help, please.

Mark,

We appreciate your efforts on this issue.

I believe that these latest updates of Windows has fixed this problem. Some hardware may not work normally because of outdated drivers, Windows Update will install the latest option for device drivers. I suggest to monitor the issue for two days and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

Keep us informed.

  • Internal keyboard and mouse do not randomly respond time forcing me to restart my laptop 15 times until it works again

    1. sometimes this feedback haptic on the mouse is not triggered, leaving me by clicking on the mouse, while feeling against nature - something that is not supposed to happen

    2. after I close my laptop / closing of the lid/Eve (do not turn it off) the keyboard and the mouse literally don't work - it forces me to restart my laptop several times (sometimes around 15, take me 5-10 minutes just to get my laptop to work)

    Additional details:

-J' tested a USB keyboard and mouse with my laptop and it works perfectly, even when the internal don't - maybe it's a hardware problem?

-I went to the apple store a few weeks ago and spoke to someone at the "Genius Bar," which really helped at all - he told me I have to restart my laptop every time I open and I should do another user account - although I was skeptical about the logic used to arrive at these "solutions" I tried them anyway , here we are with the same problem - also, I don't have to close my laptop down 15 times every time I want to use, it's ridiculous, and that's why I bought a mac rather than a pc.

-I'm not running any software/battery intensive programs on my laptop - especially just the word and the Google Chrome, which is not a lot

  • screen of 3 computers, 1, 1 keyboard & 1 mouse

Greetings. I would use 3 computers (2 cheese grater Mac Pro and new iMac 27 "retina) with a screen (from the iMac), 1 keyboard and mouse 1. Each computer functions as its own unit, just need to access in my office. Is this possible?

I do currently this with 2 pros of mac of grated cheese using a KVR switch. Not sure if/how the same thing can be done to implement an iMac 27 "retina, with its screen functioning as the screen for 3 computers. I would also have all the 3 currents and move seamlessly between them, which must be and have the screen and keyboard mouse all follow suite effortlessly as they do currently.

As mentioned do not know if it is possible with the iMac as he is an all-in-one device.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Questions about the standard wireless keyboard and mouse on a h8 - 1360 t.

    Hi again,

I have a h8 - 1360t with the standard wireless keyboard and mouse.

    1. where is information on the blue buttons 'connect' keyboard and mouse?

    2. the mouse has a power switch - do I really have to close each time, or is there a function of inactivity when the system is off?

3 lets say that I have two exact systems within 5 feet of each other. Will the two keyboards and mouse conflict?

    Looking forward to your answers.

    Thank you

    BJ

This document will show you how to sync mouse wireless and keyboard if they connect buttons.

You don't need to turn off the wireless mouse. If you have problems with the batteries run out frequently, it might be useful, but I've never needed to do.

Two different sets of wireless mice/keyboards are not usually a problem. If there is a conflict, go through the process of connection of each game.

  • Pavilion dv4-1431us: hp pavilion keyboard and mouse

I'm trying to update my laptop after not having used it a while - my daughter has used only listen to Spotify. Windows 10 previously installed.

The keyboard and mouse on this laptop have stopped working. I used a wireless keyboard and a mouse who worked briefly - just long enough to troublshoot my material in the hope that it would be useful to fix the keyboard and the mouse. A number of unidentified devices had apparently been disabled, so I clicked on 'fix' for each one as it worked through the process.

After that diagnosis was finished, I rebooted, and now even not my keyboard and wireless mouse are working. I have no way to get this put laptop updated with drivers, etc.

I pressed "esc" when the laptop is coming, but I don't see anything that would allow me to solve this problem. I'm not a computer repairman.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but these older computers laptops fare not good when the upgrade to Win10. Win10 really bad upgrade assessment tool assess the material limitations on these old PC, and as was the case with your upgrade, you only find that things do not work AFTER the upgrade.

To make things even worse, unfortunately, the GoBack Win10 function is know unreliable and when it fails it can leave machines in a damaged condition.

The Win10 upgrade is known, in some cases, corrupt the partition of recovery that are stored by the OEM that built the original machine. It's pretty much guarantee that no HP recovery will work.

I personally upgraded a few 'old' Win10 and in all cases, machines have restored their return to Win7. Flaky, again coupled system FORCE Win10 performance updates from MS and other things all of a sudden then don't work DO NOT - all these were too much for people using the PC.

So, I used HP recovery media to restore their former SES - where EVERYTHING WORKED!

That's what I recommend you do with the DV4 - consider using HP recovery media. It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs. You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update". If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Don't forget to read through the material in the linked thread before attempting the recovery: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00707939

    Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.

    Thank you

  • Keyboard and mouse not recognized

HP Pavilion P6620f Win 7 when I first starts the job of keyboard and mouse (for access to the bios, etc.), but as soon as Windows starts and my login screen the keyboard and the mouse do not work. There is being able to go to both because they have lights lite on each. I tried unplugging everything, including the power cord, and I removed the motherboard battery to try to reset it. Nothing seems to work.

    Hello

I want to say that you don't have to disconnect the keyboard and mouse USB while trying this process. Once you have removed the USB drivers, the computer would have to re - discover the keyboard and mouse as a new device that may have circumvented the problem. So I read your reply message and it seems that you are unable to use your mouse and keyboard in safe mode. This is due to a problem of driver at this point. So there are only a few options left at this point in time:

1.) Perform a repair windows (not a reinstallation of the operating system), so that you can verify the integrity of your system drivers. At startup, you need to press F10, F11 or F12 to get into the system recovery.

Repair automatic running of the recovery disk is easy. After your system starts on the recovery disk and you follow the troubleshooting | Path via the menu advanced options, you will see the screen shown in Figure Aadvanced. Among the tools available on the screen advanced options, you will see the auto repair.

Figure a. Advanced screen, you will find four other tools that you can use to recover a damaged Windows System.

When you select the automatic repair option, you will see the screen shown in Figure B.

Figure B your first line of defense when it comes to recover a Windows 8 system is the automatic repair option.

Once you launch the automatic repair, it will begin to diagnose the problem to start and you will see the screen shown in Figure C.

Figure C in the first stage of its operation, the automatic repair will diagnose the problem.

During this diagnostic phase, automatic repair will scan your system and analyze the different parameters of the configuration options and files system searching files corrupt or botched configuration settings. Specifically, automatic repair will look for the following issues:

    • Missing/corrupt/incompatible drivers
    • Missing/corrupted system files
    • Missing/corrupt boot configuration parameters
    • Corrupt registry settings
    • Metadata for corrupted disk (master boot record, boot sector or partition table)
    • Installation of the problematic update

If it detects one of these types of problems, it will automatically attempt to correct them, as shown in Figure D.

Figure D auto repair has a diagnosis of your problem starting, it will attempt to fix it.

If the AutoFix can solve the problem, she will do without any intervention. It will then reboot the system and start normally.

2.) backup your important data and restore complete system of the operating system.

If you have any further questions please send me a message.

  • Keyboard and mouse hangs often.

    Thank you for your time.

I was faced with a problem with my mouse and keyboard. It's mostly the mouse, but it happens that the keyboard is affected. Basically, weather it's game or just browsing, the mouse would stop working for a second, then making noise he might do if I plugged it in, then start working again. This could happen very occasionally or once a day. Sometimes, the keyboard and mouse stop working for good. So I have to press the off button on my tower to put in mode 'sleep'. Which temporarily solves the problem.

The only thing that I can associate this problem with is buy Borderlands 2 on Steam. In other words, this is the first time, I had this problem. It's probably a coincidence, but if it has something to do with it, it would be good to know. I was told to update my BIOS, but my father (I'm 15) tells me it is not a good idea because something can go wrong, and totally riun my machine.

    My specs are:

Product number: QW729AA #ABA (I don't know the exact name of my computer, but it says HP Pavilion on it.)

    Windows 7 64 bit

    No real error message

The change was that I noticed the problem around me buy Borderlands 2

Once again, thank you for your time to help me with this problem.

I think that I fixed it.

It was the mouse itself, because I spent my mouse with another and the poor functioning of the mouse didn't work on the other computer.

I just mark as resolved or you guys can I do if I can't

  • PowerEdge 840: USB keyboard and mouse not working not.

    Hello everyone.

Yesterday, I pursached a used Dell Poweredge 840 to function as a backup server, I'm having a few problems with it but I can't understand.

I installed the server with Windows Server 2003 x 86 edition and downloaded the drivers on the Dell site. It works perfectly, except for one problem:

USB keyboards and mouse refuse to work.

PS/2 works fine however, but any USB keyboard or mouse will not work.

Flash USB drives read very well, therefore I used to recover some files on the machine before, but it was connected to the network, USB keyboard and mouse do not work.

They are not recognized at startup and do not allow to enter the setup of the BIOS after Windows has started, that they are not always recognized. Windows displays the device as unknown device.

I tried to boot from a live CD of 14.04 Lubuntu, in which the USB keyboard and mouse do not work either. Only PS/2 wants to work.

I have tried different types of USB mouse:

    • Microsoft mouse
    • Acer OEM mouse
    • Mouse laser Logitech M-U0007

None of them could work, although they work fine on my laptop, the main file server which is a model of HP and Dell Optiplex desktop computer.

I tried a few different USB keyboards as well, but they refuse to work.

I ended up borrowing a pair of keyboard and mouse PS/2 to configure the server, but I want it to work with my USB keyboard and mouse.

Just for the record: the USB flash drives do not work very well, it's just the keyboard and mouse is not working.

Anyone know how I can get there?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dominique

    Hello.

Unplug all devices connected to the USB and PS/2 ports. Unplug the AC power cable, wait about 1 minute and then press in and hold the button for about 15 seconds. Reconnect the power and power on the server. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the USB ports and try again.

PC runs, but does not start. Monitor, keyboard and mouse with no signal. Pretty much. And when you want me to remove the battery of the bios, or whatever, it seems tight and hard to get out because it is surrounded by other elements.

All fans work, the power/battery or anything that works I think that, since there is a fan on the right where it is and it seems to work. I remember what happens before, I don't know, but before that, there are many gels. This error below was made before all this happened, but I managed to run f8 and then run normally until it freezes again. Then, after that, it runs but does not start. No beeps etc. The best fans will have plenty of vouches and Bravo to wherever you like me to vouch or maybe send the great service that you provide to administrators if that's even possible, haha.

    Thanks in advance.

It is a sign of a lack of food. Looks like you have a desktop computer?

Power supplies run about $50. It is a rectangular box at the corner of the system in which the power supply will from the outside. It's a pretty standard form in most of the PC and with a little investigation thorough replacements can be found.

It is usually held in place by 4 screws and can be held in place with a spring clip.

Most essential, is that you need to buy a replacement with the right number of straight plug forms to adapt to your PC.

This seems more complicated than it really is and takes about 5 to 10 minutes to do the replacement.

Look at the power output of the power supply failure and buy a new, more powerful. New desktop PC usually come usually with a diet under size and what are the causes these failures is too strong a request for devices you have connected. So, buy one with a higher power rating. Usually about 500 Watts does the trick.

If you do not feel upwards to this task, a technician should not charge you much like this.
