Trouble installing Acrobat Reader v11 on Win 7-64 bit sys?
I have problems installing Acrobat Reader version 11 on my Windows 7, 64-bit system. I tried several times without success. It seems that the download is fine, as an .exe file is downloaded on my "download folder". That's when I tried to install the problem araises. Please see figure.
It's very frustrating because I don't seem to get information on the site of Adobe referring to this question. Current information available are obsolete and another link that might be useful is broken... and there is no way to contact anyone in Adobe again to let them know about the broken link.
I'd appreciate any help I can get on this issue.
Thank you and happy new year!
Rocio

I can't install Acrobat Reader. He said that I have a version updated a request to complete (no choice). I don't have any installed version. I'm looking and I can't find no, and if I ask 'open with' PDF documents it does not show an Acrobat
If you're running Windows (which we don't know), you can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:
http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Then you can download the complete player offline installer from
http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

The installation program shows me a screen with a phone number and a series of numbers. When these numbers phone call asking me to go to the site. Does anyone know if this product can be set differently?
If you have a license for Acrobat 7 (and it runs on an operating system), you can download the installer from https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.ht ml and activate it with the serial number given on these pages.

Install Acrobat Reader without Internet?
Hello
In my Windows XP computer, I want to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader. But the computer has an Internet connection. The version on the Adobe site seems to be a 1 MB download manager and Installer, which should have Internet to complete the installation. Is there a way to get a full downloaded installer so that I can install without Internet connection?
Thank you
You can download the full installer here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/
Don't forget that the last version compatible with XP is 11.0.08, however.

Newly installed Acrobat Reader DC will not edit a PDF file
I downloaded Acrobat Reader DC in order to be able to modify a PDF file. However when I click on the toolbar 'Edit PDF', no tools are displayed. When I click on 'Tools' and under 'Edit PDF' select 'Open' a blank page opens, (not a page with the document for editing). I tried with a few documents. Sometimes the document desired "flashes" for about 1/4 of a second when I select 'Edit PDF - Open', but then it disappears.
I said in the first post.
"Adobe Reader cannot edit pdf files. When you click on edit, just asking you to purchase the full version of Adobe Acrobat. If you have purchased, you must download, install it and use it to open and edit your pdf files. »
