    1. This only happens when you try to install the printer HP or with other programs?

    Step 1:

Before you install Windows Vista SP2, uninstall completely printing software.

Check out the link to uninstall a program:

  • problem installing driver cDAQ 9174

    Hello

I am a new user of LabVIEW and just got our first shipement material today of 2 x cDaq 9174 with analog i/o.

I tried to install the driver for several hours without success. At the beginning of the installation, I get an error message that says:

"This installer needs to access 'My images' However this place XXX is not available." Make sure that this directory exists and is available, and rerun Setup.

First of all, the folder my pictures pointed to a NAS drive where all of our photos of the company are located (which was the N drive) - so I show it to the location of the normal C drive but it is still giving me an error message and try to find the folder in drive instead of C N (and Yes I tried to reboot).

Secondly, the location was available, as I opened through Explorer without any problem.

Thirdly, why a driver would fail to install simply because it could not access the folder my pictures?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Doug_1970,

It may be a registry key which is always pointing to the NAS drive. Try to use the following Microsoft Fix it tool, reboot, then install DAQmx.

  • HP OfficeJet 4650: Problems installing driver HP OfficeJet 4650

I can not scan with my printer. I tried to install the driver HP several times. Each time it is said that it has installed successfully.

When I add the printer to the list on printing & scanning in system preferences, it finds the printer (because it is attached to my computer via a USB cable) but in the ' using Print:' section, automatically selects the generic printer PCL. HP OfficeJet 4650 isn't in the drop-down menu to select in this section. This means that there is a problem with the driver installation?

I tried to uninstall the software, but I can't uninstall it, suggesting that it has not been correctly installed in the first place.

    What can I do?

    Hey @HPURCELL,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have some problems with your machine of Mac OS x 10.7 printing to your 4650 e-all-in-one printer Officejet. What is happening is that the printer drivers have been installed for Mac OS x 10.8 or later. The installation program is running, but the Mac printer does not communicate. To scan, you will need to upgrade to Mac OS x 10.8 or later version.

Please let me know if that solves your problems. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

I installed the software for this adapter wireless instructions.  But although she is supposed to work with XP, when I try to use the adapter it does not work.  At first my computer has not found the driver (even though it had been installed and the CD is inserted).  I tried to download a new driver from TrendNet, but it's the exact same on my installation CD.

I moved the adapter to a different USB port and all of a sudden he seemed to start installing the driver, until halfway through the installation I had the BSOD.  It took about 5 tries to restart, and my computer restarts only without the adapter.  As soon as the adapter is inserted into any USB I get the BSOD again.

  • Problem installing driver Lexmark x 8300

I am running windows 7 64 bit system. I have a Lexmark x 8350 all in one printer inkjet attached to my PC everything was fine until when I got an error message saying that the pc and the printer did not communicate a few weeks ago. After having checked the connections, I tried to reinstall the printer and we was told that installation was not possible and got an error message 0 x 00000006.

Since then, I uninstalled all the software of printer and tried to reinstall. When I do that, I tells me that the printer driver and when Windows searches for a driver, it is impossible to find one that works.

I went to the site of Lexmark and they inform me that the driver for Windows 7 64-bit is the same as that for windows Vista 64-bit.

When I try to install this driver installation fails because the Lexmark driver does not install. If I have trouble shoot that Windows searches for a driver, the system tells me the process has failed.

I tried a such own restart as suggested by the community, but not luck.

Is it possible that an update of installed Windows 7 recently caused an inconsistency with the Vista driver for the Lexmark 8350?

    Thanks for any help

Follow the steps below.  If they do not work, please provide the full text of the error message that occurs when you try to install the driver.  See also the following, which strangely resembles your situation, but the fact that you did not mention that your printer is connected on a network--> https://patrickhoban.wordpress.com/2013/10/30/0800-9/

    1. disconnect the printer from the computer (I assume that the printer is connected directly to the computer via a USB cable).

    2. go here--> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2793718 and download both of the correction he routines.  In other words, if you are using Internet Explorer, choose 'Save' instead of 'run '.

    3. download a new copy of the driver Vista 64 bit (cjs8300EN.exe).  Temporarily disable your antivirus software before you click on the Download"" button.

    4. After you download the driver file and the two Fix it routines, disconnect your computer from the Internet, then you can let the disabled antivirus.

    5. uninstall all Lexmark software using the control panel > programs and features.

    6. you will probably need to run mode 'Full' set of routine, but be aware that this will delete ALL printers currently installed.  Full Fix mode it basically puts your print environment to the way it was during the installation of the operating system.  You must restart the computer after you run the Full Fixez_ mode the.

If this Lexmark is your only printer, and then use Full mode repair.  If you have other printers, you can see if the "light Mode" Fi xit has solved the problem, but I suspect it won't.

    7. After executing according to the difficulty of what you have selected and reboot if you have selected the full mode, run the driver installation program.  Connect the printer to the computer when you are prompted during the installation of the driver, or when the installation is complete.

If you use the light mode set and the driver installation has not been successful, start back at step 5 and secure it using the full mode.

  • Problem install driver Brother MFC 8300 (using Windows Update)

I need help for my printer to work with a new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  I had to reinstall due to a CMOS error, I think it was because of a dead battery.  It could even be something else because I had other problems with this facility (explained below).  In any case, the printer is a former Brother MFC 8300 (he was a workaholic!).  Past times, I have re-installed Windows, there have not been any problems with this printer.  I just install Windows Update driver (the driver is named 'Brother MFC8600/9650 Series' in Device Manager).  But this time the installed "Windows Update" the driver and says that everything is working properly but when I go to "Devices and printers" it does not appear in "Printers and faxes" (as he usually does).  FYI, there is a list for "USB Composite Device" in "Devices" that shows "Brother MFC8600/9650 series" as a scanner.  Don't know what that means.

I also tried to manually download the driver of 'catalog.update.microsoft.com '.  I downloaded 2 different versions of the driver.  It has a size of 2.0 MB file and the other has a 2.3 MB file size.  I found myself by installing do not either because I didn't know where the appropriate destination location has been using the 'Expand' of the 'Command Prompt' command with "expand -F: * " ."  I think that the file for the "Windows Update" file size is 2.1 MB (my memory is not the biggest however).

I am running as a "Standard user", but I installed all the drivers of devices as an administrator.  I also noticed a problem with an application that I used before this re - install, "Ultracopier.  On installs previous he has installed fine and he demanded 'Administrator' rights after the start.  But during this installation, it did not work at all and did not 'Administrator' rights after the start.  I also had problems with a 2 to external hard drive related to the permissions and access to certain files and folders.  I don't know if any of this matters but I thought that the more information the better.

I hope someone can help me with this because I really need this printer to work.

    Hello

    Sorry for the late reply.

I suggest that you restart the Printer Spooler service and see if that fixes the problem.

A print spooler is software that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print.

    Please follow the steps below:

You must be logged on as administrator to perform the following steps:

    1. By clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, open administrative tools. In the search box, type Administrative Tools, and then click Administrative Tools.
    2. Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. Right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties.
    4. Under the tab general , next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
    5. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Startand then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

For more information, please see the link below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-cant-I-print

If you are still facing problems while using the printer, I suggest to uninstall the driver again and install all the optional updates offered by Windows Update and then install the printer drivers if not included in the optional updates and see if the problem persists.

To install optional updates, follow the steps below:

    1. Press the Windows key + R
    2. Type wuapp
    3. In the left pane, click search for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer
    4. If updates are found, click on view available updates.
    5. Select the optional updates, and then click on install. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Hope this helps, get back to us if you need further assistance for Windows.
