  For this reason, I can't actually make the partition. I tried to make the partition manually with the utility tool disk, but after Bootcamp says that I must cancel the score, after which I should do once again using BC, but of course, I can't because this same error again.

  I also tried to boot in USB Wininstall disk after doing the manual partition, but it stops after the first line to say a word on a missing bootmgr (if it is relevant, I can check again down the error Word for Word)

  I got a keycode for Windows 7 my friend, with whom I have downloaded an .iso full Microsoft home page (my own code didn't work for some reason any). And with the new image .iso file, everything went as it should.

  Well, I had to play with the Bootcamp drivers and start all over again on the first time because Windows could not start after installation, but the second time around everything went like it's supposed to. • RDM pyhsical passthrough problem hard drive with partition type 0xfd (raid autodetect matrices)

  I tried to passthrough my records of nas synology with 0xfd partition type.

  vmkfstools - z vmfs, devices, disks, t10. ATA___ST2000DL0032D9VT166___XXXXXXXX /vmfs/volumes/datastore1/RDM/NAS2TB_1_XXXXXXXX.vmdk - a free

  results in: unable to create the virtual disk: the specified device is not a valid physical disk (20) device.

  The reason seems to be the type of partition 0xfd (raid autodetect matrices). This problem is presented with the disk itself.

  No idea how to fix?

  I found the failure. It's a little embarrassing.

  It was just the missing ' / ' in front of vmfs.

  Now, my drives are running in physical RDM mode.

• Problem installing in Win7 32-bit professional AE1000

  Dear forum,

  I bought the adapter to use AE1000 wireless with my Linksys WRT54G Router.  I first tried to install by loading the CD, which went up to the screen "insert your card into a USB port.  The circle of "transformation" of Windows spun for about twenty minutes, then I was prompted to "insert the wireless adapter" once more.  Rinse, repeat.  I absolutely can't be past this stage.

  I scoured the web for an answer and turned up little.  I uninstalled my antivirus and firewall, made software so that files related to my prior adapter have been removed, tried different USB ports (2.0 all) on my desk and had no success.  Today, I traded the adapter for a replacement, and I meet all the same difficulties.

  The wlan service is enabled in Windows.  The laptop I currently use presents no problem connecting to the router, and net speed is fast.  My previous card desktop USB (brand an older competitor) can connect to the router (from the desktop).

  My office accepts the driver for the AE1000 and recognizes the device (I can see by name in Device Manager), but it doesn't seem to be active and broadcasting.  The blue light remains solid, and no network is detected.  If I pull up to the "Network connections" window Panel, the device is not listed.

  I am quite at a loss and help to resolve this installation issue would be much appreciated, thanks!

  Seems to be a BIOs problem.  I built this model in March 2010, but the BIOs is obviously a little more of the adapter.  Now everything is working great thanks.

• Satellite C660-28 d - problem "Load driver" with the new HARD drive

  I have a Toshiba Satellite C660-28 t.

  The hard drive has failed. I called Toshiba Support who send me a replacement.

  However in the meantime I was going to put in my spare hard drive and do a fresh install of another operating system that I have a spare for (Win 7) key.

  However, I can't past the screen "Loading Drivers" as the laptop came with driver disks.
  I can't find the drivers on the Toshiba site (I tried some drivers intel which I thought were good, but he says they were not signed and all comes down to the loading screen drivers).

  I have made the recovery discs, but obviously can not use them on the new hard drive as it doesn't have the recovery partition.

  Any ideas on where I can get the proper drivers from?

  If you have a recovery disk using Toshiba preinstalled recovery media creator tool, you just have to boot from that disk to begin the installation.

  I have a Satellite A505 which uses a Realtek RTL8191SE wireless network card. Recently, I had connectivity problems with my home router. This configuration used to work perfectly, but recently, I had a problem where I won't be able to connect to my router wireless access point. Reset the adapter does not solve the problem, or don't restart.

  I found that my router reboot solves the problem, I am able to login after the reboot of the router. I have not had this problem on any of the other devices or laptops in my house and never had this problem until last month. I tried to do a factory reset on my router in order to ensure that some recent changes in our setup of the router were not to blame, but the problem persists even with a clean slate.

  Ideas for what to do?

  Just update you 13 windows 7 items... I sat until midnight and found the program data and ended up finding the catalog. I deleted the catalog now. and uninstalled items 13. I hope that when I reinstall it will be like new, and I can go back again. I had messed up I saw when viewing the photos in the media, it was media files and thought they shouldn't be there so I deleted them. Maybe thinking about now I get an error. Before, I made a slideshow with the media from the drive. I just started using elements 13 I used windows live previously for videos. Can you let me know also what photoshop elements or first, you use the most.  Also if I import video files in why do I see them I think of thumbnails. That's where I went wrong and thinking, they shouldn't be here. I brought a few books and trying to go through the learning process. What camera do you use?  Many questions sorry.   For clean installation try to download Microsoft Media creation tool first. Using the tool, you can download a copy of the Win 8.1 installer. Save 8.1 only and not the PRO. During installation, the installation program does not the product key but it detect automatically your bios.

  You will need to place the ssd instead of the original location of the hard drive to boot successfully.

  I just finished a clean install of Win7 pro 64 bit and everything looks on with the activated product key.  I'm applying 50 some important updated via update, but I have one that fails each time, KB974431.

  I think I have a corrupted file update is already downloaded that Windows is trying to use each time and it fails.   They seem to live in files Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and Windows\Servicing\Packages.  Although I can change the permissions to delete the file in Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download (and I've tried it without change of failure), access is denied whenever I try to touch the Windows\Servicing\Packages or its content.

  The only installed software were the latest EVGA nforce and drivers for video card, Norton Security Suite and the SoundBlaster last for my sound card driver.

  Any suggestions?

  I have a desktop dell Inspiron 540 initially installed with vista and upgraded to w7 with upgrade disk.  PC currently has a raid 0 on two drives configuration.  I want to do a clean install of w7 on a new 2 gig disk and remove my raid disk, so I unplugged my raid drives and plugged the new drive with the boot sequence set on DVD as priority to start.  When I put the drive of W7 the PC starts and begins installation of W7 and passes by a couple of reboots before it comes to rest on and the screen eventually white.  My questions are the following:

  (1) is the w7 stall out because it's only a upgrade disk.  I've read that even an upgrade disc must fill a system knowing that I finally needed to authenticate the license but this not yet get there.

  (2) or is the problem that none of the original pilot was loaded onto the new drive before trying to install w7?  I don't know if I have the disks just as the PC was rebuilt with new hardware warranty, so I don't know the Dell disks I have are no longer valid and if I install w7 without them.

  (3) if I do not have the right Dell driver disks is there a way to only install drivers without having to install as I prefer to do a clean vista w7 install.

  (4) when my pc normally starts in a raid 0 configuration and passes to the bios Setup screen, there will be an another intel matrix storage screen which is where I need to enter CTRL + I to enter the raid configuration...  After that I disconnected my original discs and installed a new this screen intel never presented itself - is that because I have not installed the drivers from dell?

  (5) others have suggested that I should keep the original discs in place for now, install my new hard drive, install W7 on the new drive and then delete older readers.  However, if I do and if Miss me the physical disks, if I remove the old drives, which allows W7 still starts it correctly once I deleted the old hard.

  El Capitan upgrade should be done with a clean installation, as opposed to an upgrade?

  I don't know how to do this, or what are the advantages and disadvantages?

  This means all the software on my computer is deleted and I need to re - install all the applications (if installing a clean)?   I think not so thought I had better ask!

  If you have existing question in your system current, then things could get worse if you upgrade simply. My personal choice is always do a clean install of newest version of Mac OS X.

  Make your own installer from El Capitan flash drive using the El Capitan tool:

  Be sure to save the installer in the downloads before installation folder, otherwise it will be deleted once the installation is complete.

  You can create an installer of flash of El Capitan via the Terminal drive. El Capitan has its own manufacturer Installer integrated that you use via the Terminal:

  You'll need a freshly partitioned and formatted at least 8GBs. USB flash drive leave the name of the flash drive on the system by default, "Untitled." Do not change this name. Wait as the full process that will take some time.

  Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy and paste the following line in its entirety in the Terminal window.

  sudo/Applications/Install\ OS\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia--volume/Volumes/Untitled--applicationpath X\ "/ Applications/install OS X El Capitan.app.

  Press RETURN, enter the admin password (will not resonate to the window) then press RETURN again.

  You must have setup in your Applications folder or change the paths in the command line above.
