  I tried to install Adobe Creative Cloud several times and met different errors.

  If I download the Adobe installer lastes version, when I click on the launch that the installation does not start, and the installation program does not appear on the Task Manager.   U44M simply indicate that an update has failed. Are you sure that the error code was U44M1P5? More generally, we see U44M1P7, which you can read here: Installation failed. Error U44M1P7 | Updates. Nevertheless, the steps of troubleshooting in this document can solve your problem.
