Problems of decimal Point with easy Excel Table VI and Excel 2007

Hello

We used the Excel simple table VI transfer to Excel 2002 LabView measurement data. Now, we have updated our Excel for Excel 2007. After that, there is something wrong at the time of the transfer of LabView to Excel. It seems that excel now ignore the decimal Point.

Hi Martin,

It is a known issue with LV, excel and the European regional settings.

To work around the problem, do the following:

To transfer the correct data to Excel, disconnected "use localized comma" in tools-> Frontpanel.

You can use the "." instead of ',' when you enter numbers, for example "0.99" instead of "0.99".

  • Problem with the af:table links and views

I want to display a table with data from a database table called PERSON, so I use af:table tag.

The PERSON table has the following fields:

    • PERSON_CODE
    • PERSON_NAME
    • PERSON_COD_STATE

The PERSON_STATE field is a foreign key to another table called PERSON_STATE:

    • PERSON_COD_STATE
    • DESCRIPTION

I created a view for the data of the PERSON (personView) table. Because I want to show the person status description in the af: table, I created another view for the data in table PERSON_STATE (personStateView). And I've also created a link between personView and personStateView.

In the column of the af: table that represents the State of no one, I drop the field 'description' of the State view linked to the view of anyone.

When I run the JSP, the State is not displayed correctly. All persons are displayed with the same State.

During the test directly with the application module, the display link works correctly.

View links inside an af:table work?

    I work with ADF 10 g.

    Thank you

Your scenario should be treated with a sql (VO on two EOs) join with a relationship master / detail. The table will be able to browse the details for each master record to time stamping.

  • Serious problems in Illustrator CC with OSX Mavericks: free, Place and backup windows are not open

I just upgraded to the Mavericks of OSX. After that, Illustrator began to act up. When I try to save or open a file or place an image, the command window opens just for a second or two, then closes immediately. Even the backup shortcut does not work. I saved the file several times using the command-S, when I closed it I got a warning that I had to register. Of course, I couldn't save to help save money or orders because their windows wouldn't stay open, so I had to just close it. When I opened it again, it was an older version; Illustrator simply ignored my record from two or three.

I tried restarting the computer and relaunch Illustrator, nothing worked. The problem was worse when I have InDesign open too. But just leave InDesign didn't always. This morning, I had to leave and then restart both InDesign and Illustrator several times before the problem disappeared temporarily.

I think it might also be worth mentioning that I'm using Apple Trackpad, and my computer is new.

Everyone knows about similar problems? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you. But I still have the list view.

A lame thing works well. I hit the shortcut command and keep to hit several times. It means to stay open, the command window, and in fact, it helps to get rid of the problem temporarily.

I also had a similar, but more bad problem in Acrobat. I tried to save a Photoshop PDF file in Acrobat, the window save as, open and close immediately. Then all menu command grey; no orders was available including Quit. The only option I had was to force quit Acrobat. However, I have this problem when you handle native files from Acrobat. The good news is that my lame solution worked.

  • 0 and the decimal point in Oracle SQL

    Hello

IM using Oracle Sql developer 'Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.6.0' (I'm fairly new), im having trouble inserting '0 before 1' in the table, as well as with the decimal point
I created a table with the following:

    CREATE TABLE employee
(Employe_id number (4,0) NOT NULL primary key,)
    L_Name varchar2 (15).
    What varchar2 (10),
    Number of Pay_Rate (5);

Then tried to insert this: insert into employee
    values ('003', 'Clarke', 'Michael', '13 h 00');
which has been a success, but when I used the query select it to display the table, the result was not the same

    result:
    Employee_id L_Name what Pay_Rate
    1 13 Michael Clarke

How can I ensure that the result looks like this (001 and 13 h 00):
    Employee_id L_Name what Pay_Rate
    001 Micheal Clarke 13.00

  • Windows 7 > deliver pinning of Excel 2007 files

    Hello

I recently had problems with MS Excel 2007 (business) so I uninstalled manually using these instructions http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218 it wouldn't work through Panel control etc.

I managed to reinstall and the old problems have stopped working bar one of them; I have Excel pinned to the task (is it called that?) bar and then I usued to have all my important excel files pinned to one... now they aren't there AND it does not show the recent docs either!

What happens wrong here please... it's very frustrating especially since I spent 2 hours to uninstall manually and had problems before!

    Your help would be appreciated.

    Mischa

We can probably get this resolved by resetting jump lists. This will reset all to be empty, but afterwards, you should be able to pin probably once again. Here's how:

1 - Copy this entire following line:

    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

2 - Click Start, and then paste it into the search box and press ENTER.

    3. delete all files in this folder. As a practice, just send in your bin so that you can restore if you need to.

    4. try pinning on a new element.

  • ThinAPPed Excel 2007 and Excel 2010 - who wins?

    Hello everyone.

I have a curious question to submit.

I use ThinApp 5.0 in a test environment.

I created an application with ThinApp with Excel 2007. Everything is OK, the application and Excel 2007 work perfectly and there is no problem with ThinApp (Excel 2007 is used in this application ONLY and cannot interact with anything).

The problem arises when I have 'transport' of ThinAPPed enforcement in an environment where Excel 2010 is already installed.

If I double-click a. Xls file, the file is loaded from Excel 2010 = Correct.

If I run the application Excel 2007 (ThinApp) and explore and I click two times on a. Xls file, the file is loaded from Excel 2007 =?

If I run Excel 2007 (ThinAPP), Excel 2010 and Explorer double click on a. Xls file, the file is always loaded from Excel 2007 =?

The question is: How can I force to open the files. XLS (or other) Excel 2010 always and forever (even if charged) of Excel 2007 in ThinApp?

    Already test:

Package.ini = file types = deleted .xls and .xlsx for [Microsoft Excel 2007.exe]

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.txt = deleted all .xls and .xlsx

    ChildProcessEnvironmentDefault = external

    Thank you.

    OK, I found the problem.

With Office 2007 and Office 2010 introduces a new "feature" that allows you to open documents on the same instance open.

To fix (it is more accurate to say "escape") I used "Open in a new instance", explained on this link: http://ptihosting.com/blog/it-blog/force-excel-20072010-to-open-in-Separate-window/

In practice, by pressing the button on the DX. Xls file, it seems "Open in a new instance" and the file is still open in Excel 2010.

I hope this can help others with the same "problem".

  • Two problems of report generation Excel on the decimal point

Hello good people, I have a problem when you try to generate an Excel report, please see the image below:

    Note that excel removes the decimal separator in the case of the number is > 1 (so that 1 000 becomes 1000) and if the number is<1, excel="" interprets="" it="" as="" a="" text="" string="" (excel="" say="" something="" like="" "the="" number="" in="" this="" cell="" is="" formated="" as="" text,="" or="" is="" preceded="" by="" an="" apostrophe").="" how="" to="" get="" rid="" of="" these="" problems?="" i="" would="" like="" an="" integer="" to="" appear="" as="" the="" same="" integer="" in="" excel,="" and="" any="" number="" less="" than="" one="" to="" be="" interpreted="" as="" a="">

Thank you very much in advance!

If I disable the comma localized for this VI, do you think I'll be able to use it as a Subvi without changing the decimal separator of the VI calling parameters?

My Excel also prefers with a floating point numbers, but I do not understand why numbers lower than that will not be treated as numbers right away?

    Hello OscarJ,

Unfortunately the position of the decimal point is global, so call VI is affected, too.

But there are other possible solutions: you can convert your double array in an array of strings. Conversion functions 'number in string' to disable the explicitly localized comma:

Now, you can add text to your report.

Your excel seems to interpret "," so that thousands separator and '.' as the decimal separator, so the incorrect number conversion. It seems a little odd since you say he prefers ',' as the decimal separator... There may be something to do with the office report generation tool.

  • Table.VI easy Excel returns false numbers

    Hello

I'm working on a project to make automatic measurements in Labview and transfer them to a pre-made Excel file.

But I came across something odd. The measure is in Volts and the output is in mili Volts. This goes without any problems, but when it is written in the Excel file, it becomes a number that does not completely match the entry.

For example. The number of input to the "Excel easy Table.vi" is 50,2863, but the number written in the Excel file is 50 286 000

How is it possible and more important still, how can I fix?

    Thanks in advance.

I have no where to check if this is the case, but it could be useful:

  • Help for BBM blackBerry Smartphones & Facebook does not not for 9320 - problem with "host Routing Table? -Virgin

So, today I received my new 9320 at Virgin Mobile, first Blackberry & love the phone! but I can't use the BBM or Facebook app...

At first I could not even access the browser while that connected to my wifi... then I phoned Virgin & they helped me to reset the settings on my BB that I could use the browser etc...

I thought it was problem solved, until I discovered BBM and Facebook, use app world separate service? Anyway, I phoned up to Virgin because I wanted to do this job, they are included in my package & I did not understand why I can't access any of them...

After a long phone call the problem has proved that the "host routing table" was empty and (according to in Virgin) there is a problem with new BlackBerry receiving these details... they said this isn't a problem on the end there & told me there is nothing more they can do so to click 'register now' and wait for the details...

24 hours later and nothing, so I hope someone here can help me, make me a BB the whole point is things miss me actually lol and I feel now I'm paying for a phone contract I can't really use it, without any help from my provider?

    Any help?

    Or

Anyone with a new BB knows something like that recently? Thank you

Wow... Virgin you gave really there. You see, you PAY for 100% of your services and 100% of your formal support... at the moment, they seem to be or you deliver. Only they have the ability (in fact the RESPONSIBILITY!) to degenerate RIM requiring improved support of cases (from your description, it must be that... with a HRT empty, nothing that anyone here can do). End users have no free path to receive assistance from the RIM at all - only via the escalation. So, what I would do if I were you, is their ring back... but this time do not let you fob OFF... insist that, because you HAVE them, you have a contract with them and they are about to be in violation of this contract - they must solve your problem, degenerate into RIM if they wish.

    Good luck!

    Hello

If you have a query that works well when you launch it directly, and that breaks down when you start with a procedure, this can be a problem of privileges.

Points of view ALL_ * shows only the objects you have access, but using a procedure, privileges must be granted directly to the user and not with a role.

You should check the SELECT privileges to your user through roles and give them directly to the user.

    Hope this will help.
