  On our development server, we have improved BI to the 11.1.1.7.140114 version. When we export a report by using the option to export to Excel 2007, it works correctly.

  On our server Qual, we have updated by using the same version. When we export using Excel 2007 +, we have the question below:

  Try it and are let me know the results. Either remove the user from the catalog and connection with the user who will help out you. Happens in most cases, if the user does not have privileges right to my records when you download it creates / uses the _tmp in myfolders if who does not have the privileges him cause the question

• OBIEE 11.1.1.7 export to excel 2007 + does not work

  We are trying to export to Excel 2007 + in the last 11.1.1.7 OBIEE release. The browser just show an error: "there was an error in processing your download. Please check with your administrator". Export to PowerPoint 2007 + or the old Excel works without problem.

  We tried to change the configuration of the 'InputStreamLimitInKB' as recommended in other blogs, but it does not help either.

  Anyone solve a similar problem?

  Go to the following path:

  C:\OracleBI11g\instances\instance1\config\OracleBIJavaHostComponent\coreapplication_obijh1\xdo

  the default C:\Temp folder this folder path to restore file .xdo and uncomment.

  Note: create a Temp folder in your C drive.

  There is no direct option to export to excel based on 11.1.1.6.This is added in 11.1.1.7.0

  In 11.1.1.7.0, we are able to export the complete dashboard page and the current page with export to excel option.

• Can't export Excel 2007

  Team,

  Environment: OBIEE 11.1.1.14075, Windows OS.

  For export to Excel:

  Configured, instanceconfig.xml, config.xml and opmn.xml for export excellent 2007 problem. Account required privileges to all users, however not able export excel 2007 but able to export excellent 2003.

  All entries are appreciated...

  The problem got solved by changing the value of the parameter to 'temp' in opmn.xml, xdo.cfg files.

  I want to output a BEEP report in excel 2007. If I would develop the RTF model in excel 2007 then the output would be also in excel 2007 or it depends on which version of microsoft office is implemented on the server where the BEEP is installed?

  The tiara for export to XLS file feature is very ancient and reflects the limits of size of Excel 2007, namely 65536 rows and 256 columns.  If your lines of 400,000 + are way too much for her.  The CSV export option will work, as will export to TDG or PDM file and using the Excel of TDM add-in to load the TDM or PDM file directly in Excel.  You can simply right-click on the TDM or PDM file in Windows Explorer and choose "open with...". "to start the add-in Excel TDM, which is also available as a free download to any computer target you want to do this on.

  the maximum number of lines that I can export Excel is 65 536. I tried export in excel 2003 and 2007

  I can access is no longer my utility analysis in Excel 2007, it is not listed on the tab section "analysis", I tried to recharge it via the Add-Ins option, but it is not here or under the browse option.  Please could you let me know how I can recharge the utility.

• Excel 2007 in Windows 7 does not allow to drag a program maxaminzed to a second screen.

  I like the fact that in Windows 7, you can move a screen expanded to another monitor without having to minimize it first.  I found it works wthl all programs except Excel.  Fixes for this?

  Hello

  Excel 2007 has a few known issues with the Aero Snap features. You cannot drag or use the keyboard shortcuts for most of these options when Excel is maximized, you must click on the button restore everything first.

  However, if you have multiple monitors, you can still use the Windows key logo + SHIFT + left or right key arrow to move a window larger version of Excel to the other monitor.

• IQY display one header in MS Excel 2007

  Hi all

  I am facing a problem when opening a Mara (which is exported from the discoverer of Oracle 10 g) of MS EXCEL 2007. It shows only the header of column with zero records. Whereas that, when we took the same workbook on Oracle Discoverer 11g it works well. Can someone here tell me the reason why it is happening. (Export of 10 GB discoverer MARA works very well and informing as well data) All comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

  We can get the exported file now. In IE 10, all results export are saved temporarily in the download options, press Ctrl + J (view downloads) and save the results and open it.

• Why does my bank statement appear garbled when I use the PDF export to Excel feature?  The properties of the document says ok to convert Adobe.

  I used a free trial version of Wondershare and the downloaded PDF beautifully.  A response to a question from Google suggested the rotation of the OCR, but is no longer an option?

  I am a subscriber of DC of Acrobat.  I used the PDF export to Excel export feature.  I did it by opening the PDF and choose the export option.  It is a PDF generated Bank from a client.  The text is composed of symbols for most.  It is a statement of Bank of America for a checking account.  The statements of his savings bank of America converted very well.  However, there was a different look between 2 PDF files.  Thanks for your help in advance!

• Keep the format when exporting to Excel

  Is it possible to keep the number and width of columns formatting when you export to Excel?

  You also have a possibility to customize your class "export."

  (1) you can set a custom action that does something totally different and make it available to your users. For example, we have done something in the past where a custom window gets arises and you can 'choose' attributes in your grid that you want to be exported, rather than be "linked" to the configured columns.

  (2) you can set the class that makes the export in the control panel under the frame settings. Maybe it's a little less flexible that you will be always tied to the model and the existing export format (it is passed to your class, rather than the CSVExport class), but you would be in full control of output. Like Sasha said, by default, CSV is the output format and things like formatting are obviously not taken in charge.

  I think that #1 would be the way to go because it offers the most flexibility for your users, but there should be a somewhat higher effort.
