What is the reason and what is the solution?

    Hello

Have you chosen the right RAID driver?
It seems that this laptop Qosmio was designed for the American market and therefore, you need to download the driver to the US page:

It is specially designed RAID driver for Vista. At that time its version 1.10.0016 .

  • Some problems after installing Windows 8 on the Qosmio X 500

    Hello
    Sorry for my bad English...

    I have a qosmio x 500 PQX33E. I installed the upgrade of windows 8.
    But I have problems drivers.

For the eco mode, the digital key does not respond.

For the HDMI to the TV connection, before the connection is automatic. With windows 8, I have to do manually.

I had to disable the optical driver to operate the bluray player.

And several other pilots missing for windows 64 b 8.

Do you know if I can use a different drivers, qosmio, qosmio x 875 as?

is that Toshiba will create windows 8 drivers for our old machines and other qosmio?

Thank you very much for your answers.

    > Do you know if I can use a different drivers, qosmio, qosmio x 875 as? Is that Toshiba will create windows 8 drivers for our old machines and other qosmio?

As far as I know Toshiba released an official list of old Win 7 notebook series that will save 8 drivers and support.
The matrix to win 8 can be found here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/JSP/checkWindows8Compatible.do?service=EU

As you can see, the Qosmio X 500 series is not that is why I think that Win 8 drivers will come out of this show.

But in some cases, you can use the tools to win 8 who were released for other series.
As for example the VAP Toshiba to win 8.

However, this does not mean that everything will work as in the past using Win 7

  • How is it that some machines running windows vista, when the router is updated or changed, they show "limited or local only" when you reconnect then wireless.

problems with wireless Vista "local only".

How is it that some machines running windows vista, when the router is updated or changed, they show "limited or local only" when you then reconnect wireless... nothing else was changed on those computers and other devices can connect ok?

    Hello

Each router is assigned to the specific address (called IP address or IP address). And each router maintains its own database (called as base of router) to follow the networking devices communicate with him. When the router is changed, the particular router is unable to detect the device, especially the network card to communicate with the computer.  Since he does not have details of the database of network devices, communicate with him.

  • I have a DELL Inspiron 6400 running Windows Vista. The backlight turns off.

I have a DELL Inspiron 6400 running Windows Vista. The backlight turns off when the charger is plugged after about 10 to 15 minutes. If I shine a torch on the screen, I see about the display is always. If I select change user from the menu start or stop / restart the machine, the backlight turns on and will last for another 10 to 15 minutes. I tried in safe mode and the same thing happens. Can someone help me with this problem?

It could be the inverter Board or the backlight itself on the way to the outside. Whatever it is, it is definitely a hardware problem and it will take a good repairman to fix. You can contact Dell and see what they would charge to fix this, just to see if it would be more cost-effective to buy a new laptop or have it repaired. Because it is 5 years since it is manufacturing, you can be better to save your pennies for a new :-(

Blue "C0000142 dll initiallization failed" error message - windows vista on the computer laptop inspiron 1525 Dell.  I tried all system tools and I get nothing and the only point of system restore in the restore SP1 update. not the best at the command line and even worse to system32 please help I need the laptop in return

    Hello

    1. when exactly you get this error message?

2 are you able to boot into the office after getting this error on blue screen?

    3. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Try to start your system in safe mode and check if the same problem occurs.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Method 2 : If the question does not exist in Mode safe mode then try to put your computer in a clean boot state.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Method 3: If the problem persists, then try to run the Startup Repair tool.

Startup Repair is a Windows Vista recovery tool that can fix certain problems, such as system files missing or damaged that may prevent Windows from starting correctly. When you run the Startup Repair, it scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so that your computer can start correctly.

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    Hope these helps.

  • Code product key? had reboot my computer and I need a code for Windows Vista from the bottom of my laptop

Hi, I'm having a problem with my laptop. I bought my laptop online, a year ago, and I got a virus. Then, I had my computer reset and I need a code for Windows Vista from the bottom of my laptop. After looking through records and information, we found that he had no number. He worked initially but then recently he was asked for a product key or something of the sort code. I was using my laptop but I cannot customise my background etc.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you very much

The code is located on a label and is a 25-digit alpha-numeric (and very hard to read) code separated into 5 groups of 5 numbers separated by dashes.  If you can't find it on the bottom of your laptop, open the battery housing and remove the battery and look there - I know of cases where this is where it was placed.

If you can't find the product key, your only choice is to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help.  Sometimes the relocations made with recovery disks don't need to be activated (depends on the manufacturer and their recovery process must ask them and confirm before you spend money on the recovery discs).  A valid product key is required for activation if activation is required - there is no way around this problem.  And in case you are considering on it, you can't switch from one product not enabled - you need to do a clean and complete installation (update disc will not work).

I hope this helps and that the manufacturer can help you.

    Good luck!
